The bittersweet scent of flowers flitting quickly into the creature's nastal passages, filling his head with the overpowering stench. Trying not to fall over from dizziness, the Varg stood up on powerful, yet lean legs and sighed, waiting for the curtain of night to unfold. The brilliant sunset blazed his ebon pelt with an asortment of colours, ranging from oranges to reds. He felt at peace with the world, and the sunset reflected his sutle mood. His maw opened as a small yawn escaped him, showing off small, yet sharp almost brilliantly white teeth and a hot floppy white tongue, which a droplet of saliva dribbled from onto his blood stained maw.
The young mann stretched and arose from his slumber, growling in pleasure as his muscles sprang into action. Preparing to have a little sprint, the youngster glanced absently at his dead meal, remembering tearing at the hare's vulenable neck, and remembered the thrill and joy of the spurts of blood oozing into his eagerly awaiting maw. With a flourish, he started to trot, then sped up, his tail in a straight line with his spine, his ears flat on his skull. He seemed almost like a blur, skimming the meadow with ease.
Then suddenly he stumbled and fell, his face hitting the grass laden ground hard. He saw bright stars in front of his eyes, then he fainted, blood from his wound seeping over his head.

Nearby the padding of footsteps could be heard. A young black Varg by the name of Fellack raced his paws over the moist grass- and stopped abruptly as he saw another Varg sprawled on the grass. It looked strangely humorous, but as Fellack drew nearer he realized that something out of the ordinary had happened. Whatever had happened, something or someone had done it intentionally. Fellack slowly drew nearer, not wanting to alert the fallen Varg, and slightly nuzzled his muzzle against its arm. Still alive. Fellack looked around. He had come from a village of people- he was hungry, lost, and lonely- and now after taking the human food he had ended up here, standing next to an unconscious wolf. Call it Karma, now he had another problem. Fellack started towards the nearby stream when a rustle in the bushes made him stop. It was no Lera. Fellack whirled around in time to see a human standing between him and the unconscious wolf- and a bow was hanging limply on the human's shoulder.

Stirring blearily, Freki blinked twice and winced as the pain from his wound throbbed. His head was encased with sweet smelling blood, and it made him almost sick. Glancing around, Freki noticed another ebon mann near a stream, then he froze in horror. In between himself and the mann was a human male, with a weapon!
Quick as lightning, Freki bounded to his feet and ran as fast as he could, not daring to look back. Adreneline surged through his legs, speeding him, until yet again he stumbled and collapsed in a heap, out of reach of the human. Gasping for air, the young mann cringed at the pain in his head, and rested his head on his paws. He felt guilty at leaving the other male, but for all he knew, that male could of been evil. Freki growled and lay low in the grass.

Fellack watched the Varg fall again. It was definitely hurt. And the human was a threat. He had no choice. Fellack sprinted towards the human with a rush of adrenaline following him through the grass. The human readied his weapon and.... With a flash of black and red Fellack ripped his claws into the human's throat, feeling the oh so sweet blood splashing his muzzle. Fellack had killed humans before- but this kill didn't seem justified. The human knew more than Fellack, knew more- and ominous sort of knowledge. Not good. The human had meant to come here. He turned to the wolf on the ground and quickly dismayed the thought of the human being safe. With a quick scan Fellack saw the splintered wood in the wolf's leg, definitely from the human- who was definitely hostile. Fellack made an attempt to contact the wolf. Please, if you can hear me, get up. We may not have time, and I have a place where it's safe. I think I know why they're hunting.. you, and if you want a chance you must come with me.

The sky was bright a Fernis tore through the air, She ran through the meadow like the little pup she was. She felt free as Fernis watched over the young Fae. She felt the dewy grass under her pads, the wind blowing in her face. But something made her stop, they young fae had a good nose, yet she smelt humans, varg, and worse, blood.
She stopped to look across the feild to she A human lying dead on the ground, not too far away were two wolves. One was lying on the ground, possibly very hurt, she didn't know the young mann covered in blood. The other she knew, it was Fellack, a dark colored Varg she met long ago. What is he doing here? she thought. The scene didn't look to good, but Talar didn't dare to come near, she growled at the dead human body and waited to see what happend next.

The wolf would not stir. Fellack nipped, kicked, and even bit hit tail lightly. The Mann in front of him was either dead or seriously hurt. Fellack whined. He had come all of this way, through living in secrecy raiding people's villages, to living in a cave, occasionally getting the rare scrap of food. And now, here he had come, to have another pathetic human ruin his life! Fellack howled an angry, painful howl, he would spend his life in loneliness. Fellack rested for a moment until he thought he caught a scent. Of a Varg. Of a Fae. He knew this smell, from not too long ago- he remembered this Fae whom he now could almost see. "Tarlar, is that you?"

Talar ran up to fellack and the injured wolf, "Yes Fellack, it's me! I saw the whole thing happen, I hope this Varg is okay." talar said gentally nudging the uncauntious mann. Talar looked around, she had never known this place to be intruded by humans. " I don't think any other humans will come, this is almost like a safe-haven for Varg. I think we should just let the young Varg rest. He dosen't look too good."
Talar stepped away and looked to the mountains behind them, she nor smelt or saw any human traces except for the dead one in the meadow next to them. Fernis grew angry and beat hotter in the medow from the stench of death.

Fellack whined. He wouldn't leave another Varg to possibly die- what if he had chosen that fate for Tarlar? No, he would stay, and form a pack around the hurting wolf. He would gather others: a lot of others, and then he could leave with certainty. Or if this wolf would wake up, the three of them could travel somewhere, do something! Fellack told this to Tarlar, hoping she would not take his refusal to go too seriously. As he spoke, a rustle in the trees behind them erupted, softer first then louder. Something was coming- and it wasn't good.
