Few things before you read. This tiny paragraph is something that is going to be in chapter 2!!!!! ;D
Another is that i am sorry i couldn't find the first part of this chapter, it was an english project and i lost the first part. Again very sorry.
In the shadow of the forest the bright light was shinning beautifully as ever. The cold wind blew as the pale moon rose to the sky. It seemed like all was dying leaving the world to mourn. The pure black male wolf sat on his haunches and stared up at the sky. He always wondered what it would be like to soar in the sky like a bird but never dared to talk about his longing. He did have his dreams though and as long as he did he would live on to try and achieve them.
True Story:
The night was dark as the pale moon rose into the black hole that we call a sky. I saw an old woman come up and she looked bad! I mean bad! Well she came up to the bars, though I hesitated when going closer to the silver bars. She laughed while trying not to gag on her own spit. It was kind of gross as I watched her though. She coughed a bit swallowing the left over spit that was stuck inside her throat and smiled at my wolf form. I allowed my lips to curl showing my hard as stone fangs. I let out growls and snarls but she only smiled bigger.
“I see you’re finally awake my dear. Well I am know as the green witch though you problem can’t understand me. Well you better be happy that I saved you before a lone werewolf got to you first.” She laughed again as she finished her sentence.
“Let me go! Let all of us go! We aren’t collections that someone as foolish as you can collect!” I spat at her growling each time she made a new movement. Suddenly I phased back to human. My black hair waved around my body and my icy blue eyes glared at her. My hair was now as long as my body. How long had I been out? Why had I had no clothes on either? I used my black hair to cover myself up. The old women looked at me and laughed again almost killing herself gagging grabbing the cage to steady herself as she lost balance.
“Child you are much safer here than out in the real world. You should thank me for protecting you.” She hissed and slowly made her way out of the circle of creatures of the night. I sat at the back corner of the cage waiting to change back but nothing was happening. This was so stupid! What was happening to me? My gazed looked at the others then at a boy who walked through the circle making his way to me. He had his hood up so I had no clue who he was. He didn’t touch the cage like the green witch had. He looked at me and blushed a little that I could see in the dark.
“Don’t worry I am going to get you and everyone else out of here.” He said grabbing keys out of his pocket and unlocking the side door. He smiled as he gave me a beautiful black skirt that cut at my top thigh just low enough and a belly top that was traditionally worn at a celebration as a dancer. It too was black with a black silk sleeve that connected to rings that I put on my two middle fingers. It was just a perfect fit but only one person knew about the clothing that is worn and that was Damien.
“Thanks so much, so are you going to take off the hood so I may see my knight in not so shining armor.” I flirted laughing a bit. It was working too. He laughed as he took off the hood and he was just how I remembered him in my dream but that had done him no justice.
“D-Damien?” I asked putting my hand to his cheek. His cold icy blue eyes looked surprised tinted with pain and sorrow. He turned toward the touch and caressed my hand with his own.
“Bree,” he let out a hefty sigh of relief. I could feel the tears almost stream down my face already but I didn’t want to ruin the picture I had just built.
“Damien!” I shouted hugging him tightly. He smiled toward the touch and hugged me back.
“Look I have to tell you something about Kris-“he said then cut off but that damn woman laughing her guts outs again. I looked back at her and Kris stood there smiling at me. I glared at him though I looked away. I couldn’t compete with the intensity of his gaze to my own.
“Aw what a heartwarming fest, but Bree aren’t you forgetting one person that you love most in the world?” he hissed softly yet sternly grabbing my waist and planted a cool kiss on my cheek glaring at Damien. I pulled away and recoiled from his touch. Next time I’m not going to hesitate to bite.
“Kris look it has been over since the day you left me to cry by the iced lake. I don’t love you, I HATE you.” I growled at him. He pretended to look hurt.
“You think I care? HA!” he laughed and so did the hag. I wanted to punch him but Damien took care of it and punched him into the unicorn’s cage which broke open the bars. She reeled up and ran for the other cages using her magic to unhook the locks. She headed over to the Harpy next. I backed up taking Damien with me. Kris had gotten out but was more concerned for himself now that the harpy was about to be released. I didn’t look back I took Damien by the hand and ran as fast as I could out of that place. When I knew we were out of rage I stopped and collapsed at the hollow of a tree. Damien stood there looking hurt.
“Damien what’s wrong?” I asked motioning for him to come near me but he wouldn’t. Why was he being so stubborn? Did he still trust me? Does he still love me?
“Bree it’s not the same!” he said looking at the ground refusing to move. I got up then and grabbed his wrist so he couldn’t run away.
“Damien what’s not the same?!” I asked confused about what he meant. He looked at me and glared.
“Look Bree I love you I really do but we can’t be together!” he shouted back.
“What do you mean love?” I asked confused more than ever.
“As in more than brother sister or friend, I LOVE you Bree but we can’t be together! I have a family.” He said turning his face. Now the tears were coming faster, I DID love Damien.
“Damien, but…. No, NO!” I shouted back and ran off before he could run off and leave me alone in the dark. I heard his footsteps after me change into four feet. I preferred my wolf side as well but I couldn’t change for reasons unknown to me. I was suddenly on the ground letting the tears fall. Something heavy was on top of me. Damien….
“Bree please don’t run from me. I do love you but I thought I would never see you again.” He said helping me of the ground.
“LOOK I REGREAT EVER BEING FRIENDS WITH YOU SO JUST LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!” I shouted in his face shrugging away from him. The world was a painful place. “To think, after I saw you by the lake after my parents died and I ran away, after I was almost raped, and after I was almost kept in a cage impossible to open from the inside I was willing to do it all just to see you. It was all for you but you never even gave a chance to look for me. You did nothing! You know it is so cruel how you play with someone’s heart then throw it aside like trash! You were the reason I risked my life you are the reason I wake up in the morning. The reason I try! You were everything I ever wanted now you just tell me you love me?” I was still ranting on staring at his hurt blue eyes. “All you did was bring me down Damien! How could you break my heart into a bunch of little pieces and say that it is because you love me but can’t love me?! I thought you would think that I was worth it?! Well maybe I’ll think differently from now on. Well now that it is over you can’t hurt me anymore Damien because I give up on you. The only thing I wanted was love.” I finished off calming down more as I spoke. He just stood there as a tear crawled down his face. Even if he did do this to me put me through this I really hated to see him cry.
“You are right Bree but it was because they told me you died. They told me you were attacked when you went to talk with Kris and didn’t make it. I really do love you though.” He said grabbing my waist then hugging me tight. I blushed hesitating whether to hug back or not then decided yes so I did. He let me cry on his shoulder also. Why was he like this even if I did just tell him off? I looked at him face that was flushed with tears and brushed my lips against his. Damien didn’t wait he pushed his lips to mine soft and passionate. I was shocked but wrapped my hands around his neck. He tightened his grip and this was the best moment of my life. It had felt like an eternity that I didn’t want to end but we were interrupted by snarls and growling coming from behind me. He pulled away and looked beyond my shoulder then swung me around so he was blocking e with his body. I looked at the figure in front of Damien and observed the blond hair of the girl and the tears streaming down her face the most. It must have been Damien’s girlfriend. Man was I in trouble. She glowered at me and at Damien.
“Damien what the hell are you doing?!” she screamed at him charging up to him. I hid behind Damien making sure I wasn’t in hitting range.
“Angel it’s not like that, she’s an old friend nothing more!” she shouted back asserting himself. That really peeved me off so I came out of the protection of him and death glared at him my hair flowing in my face.
“What the f*** Damien? First you say you love me now you say I mean nothing?” I almost shouted but held it back. I slapped him across the face and I could finally change so I did and started to run south back to Jaden’s house. At least he wouldn’t use me. I ran as fast as I could and as hard until I remembered I forgot my bag.
