Semmorra padded away from the human, unable to bear witness to the horrid corpse she had once intimately shared her pain with.
The moon shone down upon her pelt, making it shine.
Semmorra lifted her muzzle to the sky and howled softly to her self, not willing to let another share in her pain, that was hers alone.
The wind brought to her scents of the trees, of the rich earth itself, of the game that hid in their dens, and of the grasses.
It also beckoned her to run, once more, to race against it.
Every fiber in Semmorra's body tightened in the sweet release to feel her muscles working together in perfect unison, to feel as if nothing were faster than she.
The wind streamlined her fur, past her ears and tickling her muzzle with gentle mists of water that were beginning to accumalate in the air around her.
Semmorra drove her paws harder into the ground, desparate to know that she could run away, from anything.
But now as she stopped, she looked into the sky and knew that she could never outrun the moon.
The beautiful moon that had led her to safety as she decided to run away from her old life, to run into her new life as a Kerl.
It was hard, as she knew it would be, for she had not properly learned how to even kill small animals until a few moons ago.
Until that time, Semmorra had to scavenge like the Flying Lera, lest seh starve to death.
No matter how much game she caught, her ribs still slightly shown through her rich auburn pelt.
She always needed to run, but sometimes she didnt catch any game
to continue to sustain that hunger for running.
But now Semmorra knew she needed shelter from the winds that were coming.............
