The rocks held little importance for the ebony warrior of Ge-rad. Normally during the day she would nap in the dens, avoiding the sunlight and waiting for the night to patrol the border of her pack. However, lately she found herself in the dens during the night, still patrolling but not as long. During the day she was often playing, for a while she had been playing in the mud with Kaemon. Getting muddy and contemplating life and her past. Specifically her father, and her previous mate. Life was funny, they would bring someone into your life for a moment and then take them away again. She hadn't seen Cal for months and the way things were going she didn't expect to see him ever again. Seeing her mother was rare, even though she lived in the same pack. First her mother was taking care of Yelae and her newborns, then there was her surrogate mothership to Sorcha. But now Ayasha coulnd't explain her mother's abscence. Yet she could explain her own.
The sun was beginning to set which left most of the rocks to cool off from the hot temperature that Fenris gave off. However none of these seemed to matter to Ayasha as she picked her way through the area, paws balancing her weight as they sidestepped any sharp outcroppings. With the coming of night she felt blinded, alone, restless. She hadn't slept for a few days now, a habit? She hoped not, she just figured it might be due to some feeling of disconnection from her life and those in it. Her sister Chilaili hadn't been seen for many moons and Ayasha wished she could apologize to her. But the chances of ever seeing her again was slim. Her brother Skep had left to befriend the world as he was, and he would probably never return either. He looked too much like Cal for her to be able to look upon him without feeling sad and betrayed. Krystal, her sister who had pushed her to begin to realize what was going on, she hadn't been seen in many moons either. Was everyone in Ayasha's life leaving her? Was it possible that everyone she met eventually grew tired of her? Surely she had changed enough for her personality to atleast to pleasant?
Letting out a sigh the ebony femme padded slowly down the rocks, hoping to find a patch of mainly smoothe rocks that she could recline on and contemplate her existence in Ge-rad. Maybe Ge-rad would eventually leave her as well. Shrugging she cleared her mind and continued to search for some place to lay down, perhaps even sleep. That was doubtful though, she had no feeling of exhaustion or a want for sleep. Falling asleep led to a lonely world, one where the monsters and demons of the night could wreak havoc on your soul and no one could save you. You were alone and had to fend for yourself, but it was doubtful that you would beable to escape their gaping jaws. For a moment Ayasha debated if she should jump start Ge-rad and leave now. It was probably inevitable that eventually she would be cast out on her own, she didn't know who in Ge-rad liked her, who tolerated her and who secretly hated her.
Finding a small patch of smoothe rocks the wracked femme slid her bodice to the ground and rested her head on her midnight paws. This is nice, she thought, rolling to her side and gazing into the fading sun light. Soon she would become a pair of glowing green orbs, a body hidden in the darkness with only Tor to send a light to graze her body. But blending in didn't matter, there was no one to talk to or try to be visible for, after the encounter with the dark bitch of Sarnes, Ayasha had felt somewhat angered with Draeg, he hadn't believed her nor trusted her. She knew the sarnes varg was bad, but Krystal seemed to be the only one who believed her, her own uncle....Not that it mattered now. She would eventually talk to Draeg, she wanted some help from him, but at the moment she harbored a feeling of betrayal. The world seemed to be against the ebony femme who so often struck out like a snake. But she was getting better.
Lying quietly she watched as the darkness enveloped her, like a snake opening it's giant mouth and swallowing the world. Swallowing her up like a piece of hare barely the size of her paw. Just like that she seemed to no longer exist in the world, merely a shadow to stalk the land. Letting out a groan she rose to her feet. It was dark and time for her to patrol the borders, since she was here..she would navigate the rocks for a while before heading into the denser part of Ge-rad. Perhaps she would run into a packmate and have a conversation that would lift her spirits. But that was doubtful. She barely saw anyone during the day, what made the night different? Like a silent ghost she slipped her way among the rocks, not a sound emitted from her paws. She credited her silent way of getting around to the fact that she always avoided everyone. This helped to make her a better warrior, also that she had been given training.
The crickets chirped in the background, the only noise she could make out in the dark. The wind stirred the brush and small branches of the tress, but the silent femme was a ghost among the rocks, trotting across them like they were clouds, barely seeming to touch them. She was always like a ghost when she wanted to be, there in a second and gone the next. Off to somewhere else. Her auds swiveled and the warrior paused....had she heard something? The footsteps of a packmate, prey perhaps. Some one else to come and then dissapear from her life? Did it matter who?

Fenris’ setting orb meant another day of patrols has come to an end for the bi-hued Ge-Radian. Such a life became robotic routine for the former Zanguzen in the lands she called home. This life style of roaming Ge-Rad’s lands during Fenris’ reign was further brought into importance ever since the invasion of Balkar and Sarnes. Ge-Rad was no longer truly safe from the tyrants of the two wolf packs. Draeg, the Ge-Rad Dragga was forced to put his clan of Ge-Radians on the highest alert, after barely managing to fend off their most recent attack. But now that Tor was settling her-self into the night realm she creates, the duty of patrolling Krystal’s home would be brought upon her pack sister, Ayasha. This was the only time the ebony and ivory fae could get to rest her tired form. A brief relief from the trials being a warrior of Ge-Rad brought in toe.
Night was quickly settling in around the timber fae. Krystal hadn’t seen much of her family in recent times, choosing to remain hidden among the many paths and secrets that made up Ge-Rad. Perhaps it was for the better, given the most recent events that unfolded in Krystal’s life. Only a few suns ago, a storm plagued the lands that boarder just outside Ge-Rad. There the Ge-Radian met a friend of hers, a wolf of Sarnes blood, as well as several other passing Kerls. Krystal kind instincts insisted on finding safety for these wandering travelers. Drama would unfold as Shayla, daughter of Draeg, made the scene. The sight of a Sarnes fae only helped to fuel the fire of hate that all ready engulfed this she-wolf. But any attempts at an attack would be thwarted by Krystal, who remained the peace keeper between the two feuding packs.
Since that time, Krystal had remained hidden, partially for fear of the choice she made to aid her Sarnes friend. For Channon was never present at the attack, and technically has done nothing wrong in the mind of the former Zanguzen. “Being of blood decent of an evil pack does not necessarily make you evil” this is what the bi-colored believes in. For Krystal her-self is a descendent of Zanguzen blood, yet she is as kind as her mother. But would the others buy into those beliefs, especially after the invasion? Krystal shook away those thoughts. For now, the bi-hued fae would rest her tired emerald and sapphire optics. That is, until chance brought her right into the path of her sister, Ayasha. Nearly invisible in the cover of Tor’s black realm, only those emerald eyes gave the midnight warrior away. It had been awhile since the two fae’s had met. The schedule etched upon Ayasha and Krystal made it nearly impossible for the two sisters too see each other, one patrolling by day, the other by night.
For a moment the two stood silent. Krystal did not blend into the midnight darkness as well as her sister did. Her Zanguzen emerald crescent symbols struck out like beacons, not to mention the underside of her pelt was ivory. Perhaps this was one of the main reasons Draeg had assigned the day shift to the former Zanguzen. Had it not been for this chance encounter, the two probably would have never met on this night, nor who knows how many others. The sight of Ayasha brought much joy to Krystal, who smiled and wagged her tail in joy. Life returning to the Ge-Radian, replacing the tired expression she bore only moments before. “Ayasha!” Krystal spoke, thrilled to see her sister. “Sister, I’ve missed you so much.” She wanted to say more, but couldn’t find the words, instead deciding to show her joy by a gentle nuzzle. It was only when their faces were closer did Krystal notice the somber expression upon Ayasha’s form. “What’s wrong sis?” Krystal asked, a look of concern now adorned the bi-colored fae.

The voice broke one barrier down, one inch of self hatred crumbled. Her orbs widened as she saw the familar face of her sister Krystal. After what seemed like years, she had returned. From where the black warrior didn't know, nor did she truly care. The only thing that mattered at this moment was that she was here. Ayasha hadn't scared her off, there was something about Ayasha that brought Krystal back, some characteristic about her that was enjoyable. Some bit of emotion still left in the ebony varg that was likeable, loveable even. "Krystal!" Ayasha barked, but even her joy faded when Krystal spoke again. Not even the reunion of two sisters could be joyful. Ayasha had to ruin it with her black ice cold heart. Everything troubled her, everything made her sad. But why did she have to bring it upon those she loved? No one deserved to be brought into this black hole but her.
"Sister, nothing can trouble me now that you are here! I've missed you so!" Ayasha nuzzled her sister, hoping that her tone would lead Krystal to believe that everything was okay, hoping that the moment would pass by and once again they could be happy. Perhaps in some sick twisted way Ayasha herself was the cause of driving everyone away. Maybe she didn't want anyone to get close enough and so she herself was the cause of her own suffering. For once in a long time Ayasha felt something....all those years as a pup she drove eveyone away because she though everyone hated her, but quite the opposite. She was driving them away because she didn't want to be close to anyone, she had isolated herself, not anyone else. "Krystal...where have you been?"
Ayasha had worried that her sister would never come back, she had driven away her other siblings and Krystal was like the second chance sent by the gods themselves. But now she had to make things right. "Krystal, I know that I have a lot of problems myself, and I know that you want to help me fix those problems. But never once have I asked you what eats at your heart." Her auds flattened agaisnt her skull. Everyone seemed to pitty Ayasha, poor Ayasha, the only varg in Ge-rad whose problems everyone cared about. But that wasn't true, Kaemon lost his mother, siblings and his father. Although they had returned at one point in time. He had felt sorry for her, losing someone she loved. Yet she barely had extended her feelings toward him. He had felt the same loss, perhaps even worse.
Slowly it dawned on Ayasha, had she troubled everyone with her life? True her problems oftened needed help....but why should she be angry at Draeg? So he hadn't trusted her? Who could blame him, who could trust the dark obsidian fae that stalked the border at night? Reclusive and sometimes even angry, but she was changing, she was trying. But obviously not hard enough. IT could be possible that Ge-rad didn't truly like her, maybe Draeg was the only reason she was here. Kaemon enjoyed romping around with her, and Krystal loved her, and even Uskiya felt some affection torward her daughter, but who else, if anyone enjoyed her?
"Krystal, I'm sorry I never sought you out while you were patrolling the borders, I should've talked to you more." She let out a whine, wishing she could rewind time and fix so many things that she left a mess. She had been through a lot, but so had Draeg, and he held himself together and remained Dragga of this pack "But sister, whatever mistakes I have made, please don't leave me. Please don't walk out of my life like so many others have. I get attatched and the next thing I know they're gone!" She cried, Ajax and Xenos, Cal, Krystal, Chilaili, Skep....only Krystal had returned. And Ayasha feared she would leave again, this time forever and she knew it would be her own fault that eveyone left her. Everyone drifted away like a leaf on the water. Drowned in the waves.
She looked from her sister to the moon. Tor's light couldn't reach her, didn't want to reach out and touch the troubled youth that stood before her. Every day felt like judgement day from the gods. Now...her sister stood before her...and Ayasha didn't know if she would leave or stay. The sky grew darker, clouds moved to cover the goddess Tor, swallowing both vargs. As the darkness surrounded Ayasha she felt cold, alone and forgotten, even though moments before she had felt the touch of her sister. But that seemed like a dream now, a distant dream she would soon forget.
Her green optics glowed in the night, she could see the heavens, she could see them closing, trapping in the light and leaving her in the dark forever. She wasn't a bad varg, she had a heart, she truly did. But it seemed no one saw that. A frantic expression came over her face as she pictured being locked outside the heavens forever, to wander the lands alone, watching as other vars suffered and all she could do was cause more damage. Perhaps she was meant to walk the earth as one of Wolfbane's. Maybe she was never meant to see Tor or Fenris. Maybe she was stuck here, maybe even now her soul was being taken, maybe it was never hers to begin with. What good had she done with it? What gift had she given anyone? Death, had she given death to her mate?
"Krystal."She turned to look at her sister. "You wouldn't leave me, if when I....if I 'm stuck here to wander alone, would you leave me if you were destined for greater places?" She admitted her question seemed dramatic, but she felt lost. Her optics staring at her sister, unwavering and errily glowing in the night. The rest of her was hidden in the night, the one thing tha thelped her in night patrols, she was hidden. She had left Ge-rad once before, perhaps she needed to do it again, perhaps then she would be happy Or maybe she would never be happy.

Truly it had been a while since these two wolves met face to face under the watchful eye of Tor’s gaze. Whether it was simply due too the differences in patrol times was a matter left unsaid. But for the time being, it seemed that those times of separation would be forever left in the past, like a forgotten breeze from suns past that could not be recalled. And for that brief moment, all seemed well between the two sisters of Ge-Rad as Krystal returned Ayasha’s nuzzle with one of her own. One, a midnight fae whose family ties lay here in the mother land that nurses and nurtures the creatures within its caring embrace. The blood of Ge-Rad courses through her every artery, vein and capillary, the blood of the cunning and the strong, and the other a bi-hued fae whose ties lay in a land far east of her current home. The blood of the wicked, the cruel and the malicious curse and plight her body like venom, only instead corroding away at her soul rather then body, the blood that ties Krystal to her lineage, the Zanguzen.
Krystal too was elated about seeing her pack sister again, but as quickly as that moment of joy sprung up within Ayasha’s form, something seemed amiss to Krystal, unnatural, perhaps even fake. Yes Ayasha was indeed happy upon seeing her pack sister. The two fae’s shared a wonderfully unique bond of closeness and trust. Krystal knew Ayasha well, more then any other Ge-Radian, and perhaps more then any other Varg. There was something troubling her sister, something that seemed to weigh down the midnight fae. But if such was the case, was there a reason for attempting to hide these burdens away in the form of a veil? Krystal stared at her pack sister with orbs of intrigue, and tilted her head inquisitively. It was as if her bi-hued optics tried to view into the depths of Ayasha’s emerald eyes, as if trying to find the truth concealed away by the midnight darkness. Her efforts were left unsuccessful however, and rather then press onward, she chose instead to answer Ayasha’s question.
“I’ve been mostly patrolling by day, and sleeping by night.” Krystal spoke. “I found an abandoned den in the forest that I’ve been using. I don’t think anyone else in Ge-Rad knows about it.” This was the best explanation that the bi-colored Zanguzen could give. In truth, Krystal had been keeping to herself as of late for various other reasons. But she was more curious to learn about her pack sister. It was not uncommon for Krystal to put others problems before her own. This trait was more then likely adopted from her mother, who always did the same. It was no wonder that the events of her past unfolded as it did. Such weakness had no place amongst the elite that are the Zanguzen. Finally Krystal got her wish, as Ayasha continued to speak. The ebony and ivory fae sat on her haunches to listen tentatively to her pack sisters lyrics, which at first only helped to further perplex and bewilder Krystal.
“My heart?” Krystal unconsciously repeated as Ayasha spoke, as if trying to dissect the meaning in its entirety. But before anymore could be said by Krystal, Ayasha continued on, exposing the weight that bore down heavily on the midnight Ge-Radian for what it is. That very same weight caused the bi-colored fae’s form to droop, auds tucked away and tail limp, and lifeless. Was this truly how Ayasha felt? Was this what the veil of mystery about her pack sister revealed upon being lifted and exposed? Allowing a whimper to escape her maw, Krystal rose onto her paws and nuzzled her sister gently. “Ayasha, how could you ever think I’d leave you?” Krystal asked, in a tone blended together by both confusion and flabbergast. “You and Uskiya are my family, how could you think that I would just leave you?” Her question had all ready been answered, and as Ayasha turned her gaze to Tor, perhaps for guidance Krystal thought, she continued. “I’m not like the others Ayasha!” Krystal spoke desperately now, in hopes of breaking through this aura of doubt that seemed to cling onto Ayasha’s form like an unwanted house guest.
There was still doubt however, as Ayasha turned her gaze away from Tor and onto the form of her sister who stood just three feet away. That doubt took on the form of more lyrics, words that tore at Krystal’s insides, much like the venomous past that all ready plagued and consumed the former Zanguzen. “There is no greater place for me to be then right here sister, by your side.” Krystal responded, her answer guided by lyrics formed at the heart rather then the head. “Here to protect you, for you to protect me. Nothing can tear that bond apart. That’s why we belong here, in Ge-Rad, united as a family. We are family Ayasha, maybe not by blood, but just because we’re not linked by blood, doesn’t mean that I can’t love you like a real sister right?” Still there was something kept hidden away. Something Krystal didn’t want to share with anyone. Only one other knew about the secrets of her origin. The truth about the crescent shaped emerald symbols they displayed themselves on her pelt, the truth about the Zanguzen.
“Ayasha… let me tell you a story…”
//OOC: Instead of writing out Krystal's whole story, just click on the link ^^ It leads to her character bio. Click Me//
Time seem to stand still for the two Ge-Radians, as Krystal went into detail about her past, bringing to life every aching memory in the form of graphic description, to the best of her ability. There was nothing left to hide, nothing left to cover up in a veil. Krystal wanted to show Ayasha how much she trusted her. And so would trust her with the secrets of her past. A past that would perhaps better suit the former Zanguzen with the likes of Sarnes, rather then the kind hearted, close-knit family of Ge-Rad. And yet, Krystal was traversing on thin ice, on the verge of plunging into the vast emptiness of the icy lake which awaited her. The very family she had so longed for to find, to which she had at long last found, was in danger of being taken away forever. Once Krystal finished, there was silence again. Neither spoke, perhaps lost in thought. Krystal sat back down, her tail and auds void of life, lay flattened pitifully.
Krystal’s thoughts now took the former Zanguzen to an event that occurred just outside of Ge-Rad’s boarders just a few moons ago. Like a scar in her mind, Krystal could pry away the angry expression on Shayla’s face, for having decided to help Channon, a fae of Sarnes, along with other Kerl’s, find shelter from a fast approaching storm. And so this too Krystal decided to reveal to her sister. The story on how her kind nature had landed the bi-colored femora in this predicament of sorts. Which too chose? What to do? What was right? What was wrong? But in Krystal’s mind, she had done nothing wrong. “Being of blood decent of an evil pack does not necessarily make you evil…right?” Krystal asked after finishing her story. “Cause if it did, then I should be evil too. But I’m sure by now Shayla has all ready told Draeg what happened.” At some point, Krystal found it difficult to look at her sister, and had chosen instead to focus her gaze on a pebble that lay on the ground. “Shayla called me a traitor… I’m sure Draeg thinks I’m a traitor too...” Krystal remained silent, waiting for Ayasha’s judgement.

Ayasha nodded, remembering that her sister had once mentioned that she wanted to find some where quiet and away from the main packlands. Krystal had seemed to always be a little outside of the pack. much like Ayasha once was, atleast she assumed her standing in the pack had improved. She smiled at her sister, Ayasha indeed had her own den, although it was more in the middle of the pack lands. Life was nice when you had family and perhaps Ayasha took it for granted. Perhaps it was time for her to officilally grow up and put others before herself. After all, Ge-rad was tight knit and Ayasha did not fit that description to the point, although she proved herself with the incident of the black sarnes visitor. No one should question her loyalty, for she would fight to the death for anyone in this pack.
"Krystal, there is very little you know of my past, you don't know how I used to be,, and if you did my quesion would make more sense, my worries you could understand."She spoke, nuzzling her sister gently. She didn't want Krystal to think that her sister believed her to be like normal vargs, or vargs who left after a short time. But who could blame Ayasha? Her past was troubled, rocky and unsure. Even her mother seemed like a dream to her now. "I'm not saying that, I'm saying that if you knew, the pain.....things would understand. But no one can seem to understand it." She let out a whimper, and as Krystal spoke the ebony fae knew her lyrics couldn't ring more true. But still she didn't seem to understand. But who could understand her? Sucha dark fae.
Ayasha was surprised when Krystal began to speak of her past. Not really sure how it all fit in with things. But as she went on about growing up in a pack where love only came from her mother Ayasha began to realize that perhaps the two weren't all that different fomr each other. The devotion of Krystal's mother touched Ayasha, she had never felt something that strong like that before. No one had ever told her something that would touch her that way. "Krystal. I don't care what your past is, I care who you are now, and that is my sister who I will never abondone." She meant every word, for she didn't want her sister to feel bad because her pastwas troubled. Every varg that lived in Ge-rad had something to tell of their past, but no one ever questioned their character or loyalty. Why should Krystal be any different.
But Krystal had more to say, as she explained the incident that troubled her mind. What Krystal said was correct, just because of the past of a varg didn't mean you had to distrust them. Being born into an evil pack is nothing that a varg can control. "Krystal, if those vargs never harmed you or Ge-rad then there is nothing they did wrong. In fact Shayla should be the one questioned. Why make enemies with those you barely know when you could make more friends?" But she knew Krystal worried, but if Draeg were to banish Krystal, Ayasha would follow her from Ge-rad.
"Krystal, you did nothing wrong!"Ayasha nuzzled her sister, trying to make her feel better. She knew that Krystal worried for a reason, but anyone could see that Krystal was pure of heart. Why worry about the past when you can not change it? It was called "past" for a reason. And if Draeg couldn't see that then Ayasha would leave. He would have to find a new niece and a new warrior. With all the enemies out there why try to make more?
"Krystal know this! If Ge-rad is too stupid to see that what you did wasn't wrong, then Tor help me I'm leaving with you! If this pack doesn't live up to its name of being tight knit, then I want nothing to do with it."She smiled, perhaos if she chagned the subject Krystal might ease up on herself. "I am privilaged to hear your story, now let me tell you mine."
Ayasha began by describing being the runt of the litter, the one who from the beginning was the outcast, her blind and deaf sister Chilaili took most of the attention, including that of her brother Skep. She explained how Cal was never around and that she never had a stable male in her life. Until she met Xenos and Ajax. The two vargs that converged in one body. Both loved her, for different reasons and even though they sought to kill her in the beginning, she could not help but love him. "We were up on the castle, and he said something about wolfbane....." She trailed off for a moment. "He took his life, right in from of me, and part of me is still there, watching over the spot he ...."Ayasha's past was filled with heart break, everyone left her. "Krystal, the reason I worry about you leaving me is....everyone else has left me, for good and I never see them again. I don't want you to leave me. It's like I drive them away, Tor and Fenris don't see fit for me to lvoe or be loved."
She hung her head, turning away so Krystal could not see the pained expression on her face. Everything was falling apart and even though Krystal now knew of her past, it might not chagne anything. She still might find herself alone, forever. To be taken away by Wolfbane since the gods didn't see it fit for her to be their child.

Ayasha’s voice lifted some of the weight of doubt that polluted the ebony and ivory fae. Krystal always knew she could count on, and talk to her pack sister about anything that troubled her. But on this night, that fact was further assured, and Krystal began to see in Ayasha, the very same qualities that linked her ties to the Ge-Rad Dragga. Ayasha is Draeg’s niece for a reason. They both share the same philosophy and views about the world. “I’m here only to listen, never to judge.” Krystal only hopped that those same qualities would hold up on the day the amber Dragga confronts the bi-colored fae. Ayasha’s gentle, reassuring nuzzle eased away most of the tensions and poisons that still clung onto the deepest reaches of her form. As Krystal closed her bi-hued orbs for that moment, she found herself silently thanking Tor, goddess of the moon, for blessing her life with such a wonderful friend, who she called “sister of the heart”. Krystal nuzzled back, and the two were silent for a moment before Ayasha decided to break the tranquility of the night.
What Ayasha said next was disturbing however, did she mention it as a joke, or was she serious? Leave Ge-Rad with her? Certainly if the amber Dragga did banish the former Zanguzen, he wouldn’t allow his niece too run off along side. “Sister, if Draeg does send me away, you know he won’t let you follow.” Krystal spoke, both concerned and shocked, as for a moment she reflected on the thought of the two fae’s living as Kerl’s. She shook her head back into reality as she spoke. “I would feel awful if I was the cause of you separating from your family. This is your home Ayasha. Uskiya, Draeg, all of Ge-Rad, are your family. And they all love you very much.” Krystal paused for that moment, the realization of her next lyrics sunk deep into the reaches of her mind and soul before she spoke. A solemn look began to take more precedence on Krystal’s form. “I’m just an outsider. Most of Ge-Rad wouldn’t even notice if I was gone. I can think of at least one who would be happy that I’m gone.” Krystal finished, the image of Shayla appearing in Krystal’s mind for a few brief moments.
It was now time for Ayasha to tell her story. The night now seemed warmer, and more tranquil with the environment around. As if the very land itself took a seat along side the former Zanguzen, to listen to the tale of the midnight fae. Krystal listened attentively to Ayasha’s tale. The world around the two pack sisters was as still as a graveyard, and even as Ayasha spoke softly, her voice was heard clearly by Krystal’s ever alert ebon auds. The lyrics carried by the midnight warrior hauled along such pain, it was as if her very words dragged an iron chain ball across the ground before reaching her pack sister. It was a challenge to comprehend that kind of loss and struggle. Too lose a mate so young in life was a kind of pain that Krystal hoped she could avoid. But if Tor and Fenris willed it, there would be nothing the bi-colored femora could say. Ayasha grew up alone, much like Krystal did, and on those terms the former Zanguzen could relate. Krystal felt closer to Ayasha on this night, than she had ever before. And she wondered how many others knew of the sorrow that ensnared Ge-Rad’s youngest warrior.
“Don’t be silly sis.” Krystal spoke as Ayasha finished. "Tor and Fenris wouldn’t curse you like that. We are there daughters Ayasha. They love and cherish us. How could you think that they’d bring such misfortune to you?” Krystal moved toward her sister who had turned away, and gently licked her forehead. Her salmon tongue acting as the only means of comfort she could provide. Maybe in some way, she could lap up the ailments that poisoned Ayasha, these terrible thoughts that has haunted the dark fae for who knows how long. It didn’t make any sense to the bi-colored fae why Ayasha would think in this manner. A soft whine escaped her ebon maw before she spoke. “I’m not like the others sister.” Krystal spoke softly. “I would never leave you; I care too much about you. You’re both my sister, and my best friend. Why in Tor’s name would I ever do that? There is a reason why Tor had us meet by that waterfall on that night. She watched us become friends. Watched us bond and grow close. She and Fenris care about both of us. That’s why we are here together, in the loving embrace of Ge-Rad.”
Krystal couldn’t bear to see Ayasha in this state, and so her mind began to work, anything to get the midnight warrior’s thoughts away from such negativity. At first nothing came to mind. What would be appropriate to talk about after having gone through all these skeletons in the closet? Krystal was exhausted, and the fatigue was beginning to show in her bi-hued eyes. But she willed the weariness away, for this was far more important to Krystal then simply catching a few hours of rest. It has always been in Krystal’s nature to put others problems before her own. And this night would be no different. Suddenly Krystal remembered a scene from several suns ago that brought a much needed smile back on her ebon maw. “I was on one of my patrols when I saw you and Kaemon playing together in the mud.” Krystal spoke, hoping the new topic of Kaemon would brighten up her sister’s mood. “You two look really cute together.” She added, nudging her sister playfully. “C’mon sis, tell me all the details.”

The ebony varg listened to Krystal's plea, she knew well that Draeg would probably not want her to go. But if he couldn't see that what Krystal did wasn't wrong, then she was going to leave. If there was anything she had learned in life, it was never to leave someone you love, or care about. Unfortunately someone had left her, but that was the past and this was the present. She had to help her sister and let her know she would always be there. Krystal wouldn't be getting rid of Ayasha that easyily "Krystal, listen to me. The word Sister wont mean anything to me if I don't stand up for you. If you leave then I leave." She took a deep breath, thinking of how to explain this to her sister. "Ge-rad is a wonderful place, and yes I have family here, but you are also my family and I don't want to leave you. Besides..."She chuckled. "You can't get rid of me that easily."
Krystal thought of herself as an outsider, and Ayasha wished that she could see that Ge-rad was indeed her home, and that if Ayasha left there were only three vargs she knew of that would miss her. "Sis, you didn't know me when I was younger, you didn't know me when I lashed out with a hatred that even my parents couldn't handle. I left Ge-rad for a reason. Tor and Fenris might not want someone like me."But did it matter? Did the gods always play a role in the life of vargs, especially in the life of Ayasha "If you would never leave me.....then why would you want me to stay here if you left?" Ayasha watched Krystal, hoping that her words would sink in and that the ivory and ebony fae would understand that no matter what she would never leave her side. "Krystal...if you go then i go. that's just how it's going to be."
At the sudden change of topics Ayasha blushed. Indeed she and Kaemon were playing in the mud, indeed her feelings stirred when she saw him, mentioned his names. She didn't know if he knew, didn't know if he felt the same way. He was playful and happy, trying to make her feel better when her hear thad ached. "Yes, Kaemon and I were playing. We never got to do that as pups." She smiled, hoping to talk to Draeg about it. But perhaps Krystal would help, although Draeg might know what to do with Kaemon, how to maybe.....dare she say court him. "Krystal......I really like him. He's just so happy and energetic and he's been through so much like I have."
"I don't know if he likes me. We've only just begun to talk really. I mean...you know." She glanced away from Krystal, trying to hide her blushing face. The night hid her well, though she knew Krystal could tell anything, there was no hiding anything from her sister. With a flick of her tail she grinned. "He's rather attractive, and I made a move. But who knows."Something was changing inside of Ayasha, something was turning. After all the heart ache she had been through, the change in her personality. She seemed to be coming into a new personality. Life was full of changes and those who survived learned to adapt. And so Ayasha was beginning to adapt to life after tragedy. Who really knew what she would become now? She would still be a fierce warrior of Ge-rad, Draeg's niece. Sister of Krystal. But she could feel the dainty layer of self hatred begin to fall away. She had pitied herself for too long. Now was the time to become who she wanted to be. Although she wasn't entirely sure who that was. She would figure it out.
"Krystal, you believe that changes occur after a rather huge event in sone's life?"She cocked her head, hoping that Krystal would perhaps understand how this conversation was going. She gave a grin, perhaps she would find out who she was soon, perhaps while she was on patrol she could discover who she was. Things were beginning to look up and it was because of herself. "I shouldn't worry if the gods love me or not, I am the one in charge of my destiny. And I will make my own path." She gave a happy bark and nuzzled her sister.

((sorry for the wait, here you go))
Pelt rustling in the cool evening breeze the amber Dragga or Ge-Rad made his way across the craggy path, paws navigating along the meticulous trail stretched out before him almost instinctively. The evening air was a welcome relief from the blistering heat of the day, cooling breeze felt good against his excessively thick pelt after his periodic exposure to the summer warmth. Normally he would have already turned in for the night by now, the combined task of being a single parent and managing a pack by himself usually leaving him exhausted. However tonight he felt like stretching out beneath the stars for a while, it seemed like years since he had laid out on the rocky outcropping.
He felt perfectly at ease in the random assortment of limestone and granite, the cool, rugged sensation of sediment beneath him causing his paws to tingle nostalgically. While Ge-Rad would always be his home there was just some things about his homeland that the brute simply missed. Originally he had kept coming to the crags simply because the rocky terrain reminded him of his native homelands in Skein, however he had recently learned that the private heaven he had discovered made an ideal place for pack gatherings and other such activities. As such Draeg often found himself sharing the rocky outcropping with two or more of his packmates at any given time, not that it ever bother him. His reprieve was broken by a familiar bark coming from further ahead, auds swiveling atop his golden crown he quickly identified the speaker to be his beloved niece. No sooner had Ayasha finished speaking then another voice resonated in his ears, this time belonging to the pack’s latest recruit, a stunningly attractive fae by the name of Krystal whom Draeg was well acquainted.
Curious to their presence amidst the bedded outcropping and taking more than an idle interest as to the nature of their private discussion the amber varg continued on with his course, soil shifting beneath his paws he quickened his pace. His pelt shimmering with the faint echoes of starlight he followed the near-distant sounds of his packmates, occasionally catching tidbits of his niece’s conversation with the former Zanguzen warrior. He let out a polite bark as he approached the pair, announcing his presence as not to accidentally startle them with his sudden appearance. “Well now, what brings you ladies out here on such a fine looking evening.”
((I'm really not satisfied with this but it was the best I could come up with. Even so, it sucks))

As the sun set, cool grey orbs watched as light slowly diminished and nighttime once again took sway and held its dominion over the lands of Transylvania. Although the fact that it was now the end of another day was of little importance to the grey faemme, who sat star-gazing - watching as each star sparked into life, growing more and more bold and bright as the sun sank in the west. Her grey pelt ruffled in the cool evening breeze. Pale as cream under her belly and as dark as shade along her back. Her long and bushy tail lay wrapped about her legs, and her right eye had a fleck of amber, the two traits she had inherited from her father, the rest of her appearance, and the majority of her personality, was all from her mother.
It was about her mother that Shayla happened to be thinking about, she had tried not to think at first, it had been too painful. But slowly and surely Shayla was beginning to come to terms with it, but the emptiness had left the faemme quite bitter, especially since Kop was no longer in the pack, and her other two littermates were nowhere to be seen. Zeth was evil, a Balkar, her own blood was enemy. In fact, the only sibling Shayla seemed to have left closeby was Sorcha, and Shayla's feelings towards her were hardly loving. She had mixed feelings about that pup, and if there woudl ever be a bond between the two it would be a long time coming.
Shayla sighed, her muscles were beginning to cramp, so she guessed it was about time that she should move on. She had no idea how long she had been sitting and staring into space, she had quite lost all concept of time.
Picking her way through the terrain, her grey ears pricked at the faint sound of voices. Intrigued, she softly padded towards the source of the sound, Shayla could move quite stealthily when she wanted to, and she used that skill now, slinking through the shade. As she got nearer the voices became louder, and a bark rang out, another varg joining the others. Shayla had recognised that bark immediately.
Wondering at least who her father was greeting, Shayla stole a little further on, until the vargs came into view. Her father and Ayasha, whom she knew of but had never talked to, but the sight of the third varg made Shayla's lips curl in distaste. Krystal.
Grey eyes grew cold and hard, and the fleck of amber sparked with a malice. Traitor. Shayla's hackles had unwittingly raised along her back, and her claws sunk into the earth. All she could think about was ripping out Krystal's throat. All her muscles tensed and Shayla nearly coiled as if to spring, but common sense shouted out. 'Control yourself!' Shayla scolded herself, and her muscles relaxed ever so slightly. 'This is a perfect situation. Maybe you can make your father see her for the traitor she really is?' Shayla's tensed muscles relaxed completely, and her hackles lowered, her sneer replaced with a neutral expression, although her eyes still remained cold. She would not have an enemy within the pack, she had already lost the majority of her family, she was not about to lose what was left.
Slinking out of her hiding place, Shayla also gave a welcoming bark, shooting a warm smile at Draeg. "Hello Daddy." She barked, then dipped her head to Ayasha. "I don't believe we've met?" Shayla purposefully ignored Krystal for now.

“She has her uncle’s stubborn attitude.” Krystal thought, as Ayasha insisted upon her decision to leave Ge-Rad behind, of the bi-colored fae was forced to find a new family. There was simply no convincing Ayasha to change her mind, so rather then pursue any further, she decided to leave the conversation where it stood. Slowly but surely, Tor was beginning to assert her dominance over the heavens. Her kingdom shrouded in a sea of black, with millions of sparkles acting as her servants. She commanded the world around the Ge-Radians, and on this night, her gaze was full and brilliant. Tranquility soon settled in, welcomed by Krystal after the hardships that were passed between sisters. Now the subject was not of loss and pain, but of love and prosperity. Krystal felt as though things were returning to normal, at least for the time being. “Just keep at it sis.” Krystal advised, her tail wagging like a banner in the wind. “He’ll catch on sooner or later. Kaemon is really nice; he’d be good for you.”
The breeze that swept the land was cool and soothing as it combed the limestone and granite upon which Krystal and Ayasha stood. Her pelt was brushed tenderly by the gentle breeze, and the bi-colored fae was beginning to feel more relaxed with each passing moment. The very same breeze that brought serenity also carried with it a strong and regal scent. Instantly her nares took in the smell and guided Krystal’s bi-hued optics towards he who owned that scent. His amber, noble form stood proudly in Tor’s light, as his pelt reflected the moon goddess’ brilliance, leaving him dignified and distinguished. But his golden gaze held an aura of curiosity, as he signaled his approach with a bark. Krystal’s initial reaction was a bark of her own, happy too see him. But the realization of the situation was settling quickly within her mind. Like a stampede of Herla, the concept rushed and invaded her thoughts. Did Draeg know about what went on that night a few suns ago? Certainly he wouldn’t be so cheerful if he did.
Krystal feared this moment. The Ge-Radian knew she couldn’t keep avoiding the amber Dragga forever. Luckily enough for the bi-hued fae, her sister was present. Maybe Draeg would be more understanding around Ayasha. This thought helped to ease Krystal’s fears a bit, as she prepared herself to tell Draeg about the incident involving Channon from Sarnes. But before doing so, Krystal took in the beauty that is Ge-Rad. Her sapphire and emerald orbs scanned the terra with a look of anxiety. Never before had her home looked so magnificent in its splendor. Everything from the forest which stood in the distance, still within vision, too the very granite in which they stood, to the blades of grass that covered the plains, held its own beauty. Perhaps it was because somewhere deep within the bi-colored fae’s mind, she felt as though this would be her last time seeing it. “Draeg…” Krystal began, as she did her best to hide the tone of fear from her voice?
The Ge-Radian would never get the chance however, as another bark shot through the scene. Like a spike through her body, Krystal flinched defensively at the noise. Not out of fear, but rather surprise. Shayla was the last fae she wanted to see here, and if Draeg didn’t know all ready about what happened, he definitely would know now. In bounded the gray femme, her expression impartial. Shayla greeted her father, and presented a bow to Ayasha. But no greeting came to Krystal, she wasn’t surprised. Krystal however couldn’t really care any less. Her focus was on being able to talk to the amber Dragga, before Shayla got the chance. “Draeg…” Krystal tried again, hoping to find no more interruptions this time. Maybe if luck permitted, she could get Draeg alone, and explain the events. “I’ve been looking for you for the past sun or so.” Krystal said in a soft, concerned tone. It was a lie of course, for she had been avoiding him, but she couldn’t say that. “Could we talk in private, for a moment?” Krystal asked, hoping to Tor that Shayla would stay quiet, and that Draeg would agree.

Ayasha let out a sigh as Krystal spoke about continuing to persue the mann known as Kaemon, it was harder than it sounded. But before she could respond a greeting was barked out into the night. Turning to view the greeter, though she knew it very well to be her uncle Draeg. Although tonight might test the bonds of their relationship, and it might also strengthen them. His words were cheerful, so obviously he hadn't heard what had happened, either that or he was taking his time. But Draeg didn't come off as being on who took their time, slithering around the problem and then catching the perpetraitor. At first Ayasha was unsure of what to say, she didn't know if Krystal would want time to speak with Draeg, and surely he didn't know. There was no reason to be angry with him yet, except for the night with the sarnes bitch. But what was the purpose of holding a grudge against someone you loved? Letting a smile take over her maw she responded. "Up to no good! I'm plotting my next move." She grinned, but Krystal's words suddenly put a damper on her smile
Ayasha kept quiet, her jade orbs on Draeg as Krystal was about to talk, but it was interrupted by Draeg's seldom seen daughter Shayla. The one Krystal had been talking about, her tone she greeted her father with made Ayasha uneasy. But she watched with an emotionless stare. If Shayla was going to try and get Krystal out of the pack, she would be dealing with Ayasha. Hiding her distaste Ayasha gave a small dip of her head to Shayla. "No we haven't. I'm Ayasha." As Krystal spoke up again Ayasha knew that her heart surely must be racing. Looking to her sister she gave her a reasurring smile. Surely Draeg would see the reasoning? As Dragga he would understand that making enemies should be the lowest on the list, just because of a varg's background.....there was no harm in helping someone who hadn't harmed you or the pack. He would have to see that. But when Krystal asked to speak in private Ayasha felt a small twinge of pain, did she not want her sister to hear? Looking back to Drage Ayasha let her orbs fall over him and to the ground. Always she was left out...or atleast that was how she felt. She wasn't two years yet, but she was mature. She had lived on her own since she was a puppy. Didn't that constitute some sort of trust from most of the pack mates? The words that Ayasha were going to speak fell away and she stayed silent. Waiting for what ever was to unfold.
As the seconds passed she waited, waited for someone to break the silence, even if it was Shayla. She could accuse all she wanted, but she didn't know Krystal, didn't know anything. But chances were good that Draeg would trust her over the two of them. He hadn't trusted Ayasha when she called out the Sarnes bitch as an enemy and a liar. The first one to discover her, and for some reason....she was passed by. Then again, what good did it do now to be upset about it, no one else probably even remembered. But obviously Ayasha's word didn't mean anything. How could Shayla even judge Krystal, she hadn't been here long enough? But the silence was beginning to eat away at Ayasha. Looking to her sister she gave her a smile. "Just tell him here."
Putting it off would do no good, if something ate at your soul, anything, you should always speak it. That was a lesson Ayasha had learned, though she found it difficult to always follow. This was no exception. No matter who said it, this was going to blow up. Why put it off? It was inevitable. She only hoped that Draeg would believe Krystal, other wise Ge-rad would no longer be her home. It would hurt to leave, she was feeling that she belonged here. Her birthplace was now starting to feel like home. But to have it ripped away? By a lie! She shook her head, regaurdless of the pain and feeling of disconnection, she would follow Krystal. That's what family does. Ayasha didn't know much of family, the word barely meant anything to her, but she knew that loved ones didn't leave each other. She would break that rule if she left Draeg, but Krystal needed her, would need her. If Krystal left, Ayasha would lose one of the closet relationships she had. She had lost too many other things that she wouldn't not lose this, and she wasn't going to lose Ge-rad without a fight either. If Krystal was in this war...then she cared about Ge-rad!
She looked to Draeg, looked to see if he knew anything, if he was confused, if anything. She knew this would be hard on Krystal, knew that bonds would be tested. The gods played little in Ayasha's life and this was no exception, the gods didn't help Ayasha, she didn't believe that they ever had, in fact if anything they ruined her. But regaurdless of the pain she had felt before, her sister was important now. She padded over to where Krystal stood, givign her a nuzzle she stood firm beside her sister, being the strength she needed, being the protector, the power. "I'm never going to leave you, ever." She then stood silently, waiting for anyone to speak, to call out accusations, for something besides this damned silence that was surrounding them all. Some one had to say something. Even if it was Draeg asking what Krystal wanted to tell him. She closed her orbs, her breath was even and she stood firm, but inside she felt alittle uneasy, a little worried and possibly anxious to be done with this. Letting out a breath she opened her orbs, they rested upon Draeg. Waiting, hoping.

ooc - cheeky post cause I'm impatient. (thanks Draeg =P)
Shayla ground her teeth, and refrained from shooting a look of pure venom at Krystal - though it took all her strength of will. Talk in private with her father? No, that simply would not do. Shayla would not allow her to increase the amount of poisonous lies that the bitch might have already set in her father's mind. Shayla gave a small whine of distress and looked pleadingly towards her father, her eyes shining in earnest. "Father, to that I have to object. You don't honestly wish to collaberate with traitors do you?"
Shayla's grey eyes flickered to Ayasha when the she-varg suggested that Krystal tell whatever she had to say here, and Shayla's hopes raised a little. At least if it happened here the grey-wolf would be here to mediate the lies.
On Ayasha's statement that she was never going to leave Krystal Shayla almost smiled wryly, how touching that the cow had already poisoned the minds of mroe than one GeRad varg. Well, she would not let her burrow any deeper into the pack. Not if she had anything to do with it. Ayasha could follow Krys right out of GeRad territory and there they could rot, leaving GeRad all the stronger for the missing weak links.
A part of Shayla might once have been touched by the sentiment that the statement meant, the strong bond between two vargs that mirrored her own bonds to her family. But not now, now she only saw two foes pitted against her. Whatever soft and trusting part of Shayla that there had once been, it had died. Now, she had a job to do, protect the pack, protect this family, which was difficult when there were enemies within the pack aswell as without. A spark of determination entered Shayla's hard grey orbs. She would do it. There was no room for traitors, those of little faith, those who befriended the enemy, those who were not truly faithful to GeRad, to her father.
Shayla shook her head. "Dad, I strongly suggest that you do not listen to a word that Krystal says, and seemingly she's already poisoned the mind of Ayasha with her lies too." Shayla's eyes turned to stone. Unless Ayasha was already a willing accomplice. Who knows what Krystal had been plotting with the dratted Sarnes vargs? Maybe she had roped Ayasha, or Ayasha had willfully helped her in her treason?
(sorry, gotta go, but that'll do)

Settling back onto his haunches Draeg situated himself in front of the ebon duo, gaze shifting back and forth between the pair as he regarded them carefully. Neither femme seemed any worse for wear for which he was thankful though it seemed to Draeg that both fae had made themselves rather scarce since the attack on Ge-Rad. He knew that Ayasha was probably still nursing a grudge over his decision to let Zukozu go, in retrospect he knew that he probably should have listened to his niece and dispatched of the little bitch himself but at the time he just couldn’t bring himself to do it. Regardless of what had happened there was no use dwelling on it now. What’s done is done, he knew, nothing he did would change that. Best to just look to the future and learn from his mistakes, he could only hope Ayasha could forgive him for brushing her aside. However at the moment it seemed as though Ayasha was content to let the matter lie, his niece greeting him with a warm smile. “I can see that, and what were you two plotting I wonder?” Draeg chuckled, casting her an amused glance.
Any further banter was cut short as Krystal turn to address him, regarding her carefully for a moment the amber dragga acknowledged her with a slight nod. Something about her tone bothered him although he couldn‘t quite put his finger on it, she seemed anxious, perhaps even a little apprehensive in what to say to him like a pup admitting she had done something wrong. Sensing her distress he offered her an encouraging smile. “Well, come on. Out with it, I haven’t got all night you know.” he growled in mock annoyance, hoping to lighten the mood. However before they could continue with their discussion another bark cut through the night, splitting the air and diverting the trio’s attention from their present situation.
Ears perking in recognition Draeg felt himself brighten considerably as he spied Shayla’s emergence from the shadows, smiling warmly as he rose to greet his daughter. “Hello Shayla.” Looking at her Draeg felt the increasingly familiar pangs of nostalgia that came whenever he laid eyes on either of his daughters. No matter how much time past it was always the same, as always he found himself assaulted by feelings of sadness and regret as he allow himself to look upon the near mirror image of his deceased mate. He had hoped that the feeling would pass with time but deep down knew that he would always live with the bitterness and regret of Cwen’s death. Biting back a pained whimper he close his eyes, missing the hostile exchange between the three fea. Eyes opening he look down at his daughter, livid orbs shining gently as he licked her brow. “You look beautiful tonight.”
Once again Krystal tried for his attention, inadvertently snapping him from his grief and bringing him back to their discussion. Glancing at her Draeg noticed that she seemed more anxious than she had been before, beside her it looked to him as though Ayasha was doing her best to calm the former Zanguzen though he could see that she was uneasy as well. Sensing her apprehension he was about to agree to Krystal’s request when Shayla suddenly spoke up, voicing her disapproval with a distressed whine as she looked to him pleadingly. “WHAT?” Thrown off by Shayla’s unexpected accusation Draeg found his gaze alternating back and forth between his eldest daughter and the femora she had accused, totally lost. Exactly what was going on he didn’t know, but it seemed that somehow Krystal had managed to earn the enmity of Shayla sometime during her introduction into Ge-Rad.
Shayla’s accusations continued, extending over from Krystal to Ayasha as well consequently drawing a low growl from Draeg. “Shayla that’s enough!” His tone was even despite his mounting ire. He didn’t like the idea of Shayla fling accusations around so readily however at the same time Draeg knew that he simply couldn’t brush her statements aside on the grounds that they might be true. Becoming impassive he shifted back to the varg he had become after Cwen had died, expression becoming void of emotion, monotone. “Now,” he began, addressing the trio. “Somebody tell me what’s this all about.”

Things only seemed to escalate into a downhill spiral for the former Zanguzen. Exactly as Krystal had predicted, Shayla’s appearance made the situation that much more difficult. There would be no way for the bi-colored fae to speak to Draeg in confidence. The amber Dragga looked upon his three Ge-Radians with an impassive expression, for he was troubled by the confrontation between his daughter, and the newest member of his family. Perhaps there was still some hope left for the bi-hued fae. Ayasha stood beside Krystal, her strength an inspiration during this most difficult and uncomfortable moment. She would stand beside her, an act that Krystal was most grateful for. For it was now time to face the amber Dragga, and she needed all the support in the world for this task. Though in truth, the former Zanguzen still believed she had done nothing wrong, and that is how she would speak to her Dragga, accusations or not. Krystal wasn’t going to look weak in front of Shayla, though nervous, she remained on all fours, feeling refreshed with confidence to an extent.
“A few suns ago Draeg,” Krystal began, her tone serious as she spoke those lyrics. “I encountered someone I thought to be a Kerl at the time. She is a friend of mine; we had met before I had arrived at Ge-Rad.” Krystal focused her optics only on Draeg, making sure to avoid Shalya as much as she could. "A storm was starting up, so I offered her shelter for the night. It was then when Shayla showed up, and told me that the Kerl in question, my friend, turned out to be a fae of Sarnes blood. At the time I didn’t know, but I had gotten to know her, and she is actually quite nice. Channon hadn’t done anything too us, yet Shayla saw fit to scold and judge her. It was because of me that the two didn’t tear each other to shreds right then and there. I wouldn’t blame Channon though, for the horrible things Shayla had said that night. But regardless, I wound up finding shelter for Channon, and several other Kerls that night outside of Ge-Rad borders.”
At last Krystal met Shayla’s gaze, now filled with the confidence she needed, the former Zanguzen could look the gray femme square in the face. “You can’t judge others, simply by ones background. Just because you grow up in a bad place, doesn’t make you a bad Varg. If it does, then what does that make me Draeg?” Krystal glanced at Draeg momentarily, his expression remained neutral as he listened intently. She then turned her gaze back on Shayla. “You were wrong to judge her Shayla, and you are wrong to judge me. I love Ge-Rad; I love this family, and those who are in it, that includes you. But I won’t attack someone who has done nothing wrong, nothing to hurt any of us. If that makes me a traitor in your eyes, then I’m sorry that you feel that way. But I’m not sorry for being true to myself.” There was no more to be said, and now Krystal waited to see how this would play out. At the end of this night, would the bi-colored femme still be able to call Ge-Rad her home? That was up to Draeg to decide.

Perhaps it was best that Shayla flung out her accusations, at least this would get the problem moving. At least Draeg was surprised by the sudden out burst. And at least his tone was that of caution. He didn't appear to immediately take sides, which gave Ayasha some comfort. Though she was perfectly willing to do what ever was needed from her. As Krystal began Ayasha could only stand there, not knowing what exactly she could add to the conversation, only knowing that she would defend her sister if it came down to it. While Krystal spoke Ayasha watched Shayla, waiting to see if she would try and throw out another accusation, although Ayasha knew of her horrible encounter with Sarne's, a varg's background didn't dictate what their life would be like when the grew. Ayasha...could partially vouch for that.
As time went on Ayasha actually preferred the silence to the words that Krystal was speaking, she spoke the truth and was right in her decision, but Ayasha worried what Shayla would lash out, especially now that Krystal had told her story, perhaps Draeg's daughter would begin with some far fetched story. Clearly Ayasha wasn't involved in this at all, but she was here to support her sister. Letting out a sigh she shifted her legs, staring at Draeg and Shayla, then her gaze shifted back to Krystal then back to Draeg then back to the ground. What else could she say? She hadn't been there, she could only vouch for Krystal's well intentions and it was better to have friends.
Ayasha kept silent, her mind wandering, thinking about Ge-rad. What would she do if she left? Where would she go? This was her home and it would be sad to leave. Even with Krystal by her side, life would be tough. Not to mention the fact that she was working on romancing Kaemon, which if she left Ge-rad would become harder than it was allready. He was so.....laid back and pup like that she had to find some way to get his attention better. What that way would be she was unsure, an idea had begun to fomrulate, but she wasn't sure. And besides, Kaemon would wait, but right now she had to be there for her sister. It just then occured to the black femme that she was missing her patrol. Draeg was here, and so she was staying, so he would understand.
As Krystal finished speaking Ayasha was brought back to the current, she glanced at her sister. Glad that she had finally said what she had been wanting to say for a while. Ayasha turned to view Draeg, wondering what was going on in his head. "You can't blame her for helping those in need Draeg...and Channon hasn't done anything wrong. Neither has Krystal." She made her words clear, a little bit of the anger filling into those words. She had mostly forgotten about the Zukozu incident, but maybe Draeg would listen better to her now. She glanced at Shayla, waiting for a nother explosion, another argument, another Daddy. She would do her best to try and slander Krystal's name. Ayasha supposed that since she was standing beside Krystal, that Shayla would probably try and slander her name as well.
Draeg would ultimately decide this, and there was nothing that any of them could say, once both sides of the story were out, what would he do? Who would he trust, especially since the recent attacks. Ayasha didn't really blame Shayla for the way she had acted, but this...how could she not trust her own pack member. Ge-rad was supposed to be close, they were supposed to be a family and at times it didn't feel that way. In fact, Ayasha only really knew a few members, truthfully she knew everybody, but she only really really knew a few. At times it seemed this pack was broken. Ayasha looked at Draeg, waiting for him to speak.
