Silverwren sat in the dust. The night was falling and soon terror would rein. the darkness of the night served as a meatphor for the emotions she was feeling. the nights coldness would soon be here, she would have to find a den so she could escape from the dark. she never used to ne like this did she? the dark. This was the extent of the confusion she was feeling.
she stood up. The clearing where she sat would soon be dark. the trees glared out strangely in the dusk. they beckoned her ans she followed them, a stupid thing to do now she thought about it, she kept walking and soon she came to a small cave. she stepped in it was warm and it smelt like wolf. she layed down and was soon asleep.
Morning came. She woke and and stepped out into the light. the sun was warm on her fur sending a good feeling up to her mind, the darkness will not hurt me the morning will always come.
The bright glowing orb hung low in the sky, yet Fenris was already working his way through the land. Sending warm rays of light shooting through the trees and down onto the moist dark ground below. Scents of pine and tree sap wafted into the chilly afternoon morning. There were no red, orange, or yellow leaves in this part of the forest. Only evergreens roamed here, forever green and lush. Unlike their unfortunate relatives that are bare at the end of fall. Birds of various sizes and colors fluttered and hopped from branch to branch. Sparrows flew high in the air, looking like nothing more than a small speck of black or grey in the redish, purple-blue sky. Brown flashes of fur cicled around the bottoms of pine trees, only to shoot upwards through the tree's trunk. As Fenris's bright rays touched the land, a slumbering pup began to awaken.
Small streams of light erupted through the holes in the tree's branches. Letting in the sun god's light onto the places and Lera below. The bright rays traveled into a gaping hole at the side of a hill, traveling in without a single warning. Wrapped in a tight bundle of black and white fur was a small wolf cub. Her white tipped tail curled tightly around her, as if to protect herself from the chilled morning breezes. The sun's light traveling over to the sleeping pup and shone upon it's glossy fur. Warm and content, Shadow opened her maw wide and sighed at the morning light. Lefting her head off her white paws, Shadow arched her back like a cat and stretched. As she did her lean muscles underneath her fur rippled. Her claws scraped the top of the rocky cave as she flexed her paws. Giving her glossy pelt a shake, Shadow took a peek out into the open. Her green speckled eyes glittered in the morning light. "Good Morning!" the cub absently exclaimed. Just plain happy that the light had come and vanished the darkness.

"good morning to you as well" said Silverwren, not sure weather the young wolf near her had been expecting an answer. she had woken from her, frightened sleep to see a yound wolf curled around herself in a deep slumber. when Shadowwolf had woken she had not seen Silverwren.
'it is a nice day isn't it, it would be a good ay to hunt some deer, i am so very hungy" she looked around her self just to check that there was not deer within hunting distance at the present moment. the birds were awake in in the full swing of their daily activites, today, Silverwren thought, is a good time to hunt.

OOC: Sorry for the lateness of the post...
It seemed that Fenris was in a pleasant mood today. Even as winter was beginning to set over the land, the sund god wasn't in his usual firey mood. Although it would soon mean that Tor would be in charge for the next moons, Fenris seemed content with the thought of having the next year to start off with a hot, warm day. The Lera were of course taking advantage of the god's happy mood, taking this time to do what is needed before the big freeze takes over. Birds were on their way south or looking for twigs and other what not for their warm winter beds. Squirrels were stuffing their cheek pouches with as many nuts as they can find, arguing occasionally about food stores. Borars were finding their way to the salmon gathering, fishing and stuffing themselves silly. Gaining a astonishihng amount of pounds per day. As busy as all the other Lera were, a lone wolf cub wasn't.
Shadow's blue gaze sparkled with mischief at the small doremouse that scurried in the nearby clump of grass in front fo her. All of her instincts and body cried out to her, Go, go, go!!!, but Shadow knew even with her bigger size and strenght, she would have letted the little thing go anyway. A voice came from out of the blue, making Shadow yelp in surprise. The mouse that was once in fron tof Shadow was now on it's way to it's burrow underground. Whipping ehr head toward the source of the voice, Shadow set her gaze onto a beautiful grey Varg with stunning blue eyes. "I'm sorry I didn't see you there." Shadow said sheepishly. "My name's Shadowwolf, Shadow for short." Shadow said before taking a few steps to the Fae in front of her.
"Yep! It's a great time to hunt. Just before the snow and cold winds set in. The Herla shouldn't be as strong as they were during the spring or summer time." Her tail wagging back and forth at the thought of having Herla for lunch. Rolling onto her back, Shadow stared up to the cloudless skies, admireing thier pale blue color. "I think there's a small herd in the pack territory that hasn't moved for the winter" Flipping over, Shadow grinned at Silverwren, her eyes twinkling with excitement. "I'll show you where they're at it you want."

"sure" do you want to catch some lunch together?" she could feel her stomoch rumbling. the winter snow was clean and fresh and she was sure that theh small herds scent would be clean in this nice wheather.
the forest where they were standing was warm and Silverwren was getting hot. lets go and find the herd" she started walking off into the forest.

OOC: Sorry for the lateness!!! And the shortness
Excitement rushed into the small black and white pup in waves, nearly crashing her system of common sense. Her white tipped tail was no more than a black and white blur as Shadow pranced through the trotted over to the older silver Fae. Her blue orbs looking straight into Silverwren's eyes filled with glee and joy. "C'mon they're over here!!" Shadow exclaimed before charging full speed off into the opposite direction. Even though Shadow had charged off at full speed that her little legs could carry her, it was still slow and easy to match considering a adult varg's longer legs and stamina.
White paws pounded against the soft earth as Shadow bounded over the hills and obstacles in her way. Koran territory was vast, taking up part of the woods as well as part of the valley. With such a large piece of land, food was nearly always abundant and fresh water came from the river, that flowed just a few steps away from the edge of the pack lands. Since the day she was emitted and acknowledged as a member of the pack, the young pup had explored perhaps every pebble and tree of the Koran land. Even though the youngster had been her for only a few months, she had hardly any contact with any of the pack members.
Shadow's paws began to slow down to a halt as her breathing game out of her maw in ragged breaths. Stopping neat the edge of the forest and near the Koran side of the valley, Shadow crouched and began to stalk closer and closer to the edge of the woods. Keeping her body low, Shadow crawled through the small shrubby bushes and peeked through the small holes in the branches. Her blue orbs settling onto the lean bodies of Herla as they grazed in the meadow before her. Does grazed and watched with their large hazel eyes at their fawns that played games in the open field. Stags watched nearby, pawing at the ground every once in a while and tossing their heads around and about.
Shadow's pink tongue slithered out of her mouth and wiped her maw. Her eyes now filled with anticipation at being able to hunt with another varg, rather than hunting by herself. Keeping her eyes on the Herla, Shadow whispered. "This is gunna be fun......."

Silverwren raced after the little ebony pup. she chased her for not long before they came to the place this little pup had mean't. it certainly looked like a place a family of Herla. with sentury stags and feeding mothers. Silverwren was hungry and these beasts knew it. they looked edgy and unrelaxed, they females were constantly checking their young to find out where they were. This is gunna be fun......." Shadiow whispered ' yes, it will be, but we need to get a little bit closer to them. so they don't run away before we get them. she edged along the undergrowth like a cat letting her belling slide along the ground. being carefull not to break any twigs. soon she was close enough. " are you ready ......" she whispered

OOC: Sorry for the VERY LATE response and shortness....
Energy ran through the small ebony pup's veins, coursing through her like some drug. Her eyes glinted with excitement and joy as she watched the Herla graze with no idea of what to come. Black tips of her claws dug into the soft undergrowth of where she hid, flexing and unflexing, leaving behind small scrapes in the ground. Her tail swished as her ear's pricked at what the older and more experienced Varg had said. "Uh huh, ready than ever!" She whispered, not wanting to startle the deer with her yip. Crouching low, Shadow crept closer and closer towards the Herla. Instinct kicking into the young pup, but even then she knew better than to just charge into the small herd. The twelve and eight prongs of a stag's antlers were enough to kill a Varg with one sweep of their mighty heads.
