The heart of summer bore down upon the land of Ge-Rad. However, it had been centuries since the rage of Fenris had grown to such intensity. It hadn’t been so bad before, for the heavens would always contain a splendorous assortment of clouds, which would help to shield the creatures of the land from the heat of the sun god’s flames. They would dump their contents and fill the rivers and streams; give life to the plants and bring relief to the thirsty. However as of late, those clouds were not present, and the terra was left defenseless in what should be the heat of nurture, not turn menacing. The very heat of Fenris would bounce and reverberate from the terra, causing the illusion of a wavy landscape to grip the sapphire and emerald gaze of a bi-hued fae. Her salmon tongue hung limply from her parted midnight maw as she took in long, slow breaths. One thing was certainly clear for this wolf; she had never felt a day quite like this one.
It had only been a few suns since the return of the bi-hued Ge-Radian. Krystal had endured a difficult journey of self-enlightenment. Though the path was long and treacherous, and often times unbearable and hopeless, much strength and wisdom was gained in return. And here now walked a new fae. Krystal had shed the baggage and weakness that before had weighed the former Zanguzen down. She now walked with a new sense of freedom and inner strength that the lead scout had never known before. But above all else, she was glad to be home again. Ge-Rad had remained as beautiful and magical as she had left it. But not all remained as it once was. There were still many pack members that weren’t accounted for. But the possibility that Draeg might have scent them off on missions was still considerable, and so Krystal held back any fleeting thoughts of worry for the time being.
It did not take long before the former Zanguzen was back on the morning patrol, a task that had been hers since the very beginning of her days in Ge-Rad. Though this time around it was quite different, for Krystal was now faster, and held a greater endurance then she had ever been able to achieve before. Now, the bi-colored fae could cross the vastness of Ge-Rad’s plains and forests in nearly half the time then she could before. This made for quicker rounds around the territorial boarders, and more importantly, there would be no threat that the Ge-Radian couldn’t ascertain. Today however, the enemy was not a creature with a beating heart; rather, it was the very god of fire himself. His rays of heat bore down on the ebon and ivory Ge-Radian, causing Krystal (and any creature really) to feel the strain of exhaustion, especially in the uncovered, unprotected plains of Ge-Rad.
So far, the patrols had gone quietly, which was a big sigh of relief to the lead scout who did her best to maintain stamina in this sweltering summer day. Fenris had reached the peak of his reign. Krystal’s shadow had all but disappeared, and the lead scout figured it best to seek shelter in the forest. Despite the heat of the day, which sucked at and absorbed the Ge-Radian’s energy like a sponge absorbs water, Krystal had managed to make several complete rounds and was overall pretty satisfied with the work she had completed. “I wonder how the others are managing.” Krystal thought, as she turned her kaleidoscope pools on forest across the plains. The ebon and ivory wolf now began a trek that would ultimately take her back to the dens, where no doubt Draeg would be awaiting a report on the conditions of Ge-Rad in this furnace.

It was just one of those days, where Fenris' heat bore down on the countryside below him, inflicting all of the creatures who lived there with a haze of exaushtion, making it feel like he was burning them on the mans red flowers. Nothing much was moving, and then again, why would they? They were feeling like the heat was zapping the energy from them, and anything that wasn't in the shade of some large, and or something that cast a shadow at this time of day, was feeling the strain that the heat placed upon them. Apart from the gentle buzz of insects, who seemed to be unbothered by the sudden heat. Crystal blue hues cast their gaze across the landscape before them, Koiji was, much to her relief, still in the shade that a fringe of trees was creating, her pink tongue lolling gently. It was this type of weather that made her feel sluggish and unwilling to move far. She'd found it uncomfortably hot in Deor, and had decided to go for a walk to the waterfall, seeing as the water would have made her feel a lot cooler. Her sooty paws led her ever closer to where she wanted to go, although she didn't know that she had walked closer to Ge-Rad than she knew.
Koiji was able to keep up a slow trotting pace as she made her way, anything else would've been a little too tiring for her. If she was still a cub, she'd have flopped down on some patch of cool soft grass, but now she'd grown up, she had a little more endurance, even though it wasn't long ago that she'd been a "little pipsqueak". The thought brought a grin to her maw, she knew that she was talkive, but not to the extreme. She just liked to make friends, her nature was a friendly one, and she liked nothing more than meeting new people. She was rarely shy; but she knew when she was needed to be silent and not heard. That incident with in Deor long ago was something that taught her that facts were better off waited to be told.
She didn't really take into account where exactly she was headed, just that the forest seemed to be growing thinner as she moved. That deathly heat was absorbing it's way onto her coat, and she stopped and looked about her surroundings, she didn't think she'd been here before.... She scented the air, there wasn't a pack smell, but there was a hint of a scent of another wolf. She wondered who it was; she knew quite a few Varg's in this sort of area, or round about. She wondered who it could be, and why they might be out here in this heat. It was just one of those days that she would have thought that no-one would have wanted to be out in... She didn't know why, but she really wanted a storm to happen. She loved to watch the fascnating natural power that only a storm had.
The scent of the other Varg grew stronger as she walked further out into the open. The cover the trees had provided was more evident as Fenris' heat and light covered the area where the icy white she-wolf walked. She panted, as she got ever closer to the scent. She also noticed that there was another scent in the, one of a pack. She didn't know which one it was, seeing as the only contact she'd had with pack wolves was that of the ones that were in Deor, and that of Ayame from List. She laughed at the memory of what had happend to her when she'd seen the towering ebon black fae last. She plopped herself down for a while, and reached to lick a star shaped scar on her right shoulder. Of course, it had longed since healed, but the memory of how and why she'd recieved it was something that she'd rather forget... She closed her eyes, not only sheilding them from the sun, but thinking back to the day that she'd recieved it. It had been during a storm, one of the worst that had wreacked havoc over Transylvania for a while. She'd met the ebon fae up out side the old abandoned settlement, and when the storm had started the two of them had seeked out shelter together. They'd found it, and had chatted for a while, and Koiji's adoptive mother, Silve had entered the cave, things had taken a turn to the worse. Ayame had kidnapped Koiji and flung her down the large hill, and then ran away, laughing coldly. She shuddered at the thought, opening her eyes again to the brilliant light. She got up and carried on at the slow trot her pace had been before. Koiji's pawpads were getting burned slightly on the hot ground, and she thought it had been a bit of a bad idea to sit down, the stung a little. She cast her blue hues about the land in front of her once again, and smiled as she saw that the scent trail she'd followed did actually belong to someone. The she-wolf in front of her was a little older than her, and deep ebony black colour, only broken by a flash of white on her chest and under her muzzle. From the distance Koiji saw her from, she thought she could see some sort of marking on her shoulder. She trotted closer, making sure not to approach in what the other varg might find a offensive pace. She thought that the fae might have been a scout for the pack. She hoped it wasn't one of the packs that Deor was an enemy of, but seeing as that was only List and the Balkar, that didn't seem like it would be an issue now. Once she'd gotten close enough for the fae to talk to her without straining her voice, in this weather, shouting wasn't appealing. "Oh, hello! " She started, a friendly grin on her maw. It seemed now that the day would not be without its surprises. As hot and unbearable as the conditions were for Ge-Rad’s lead scout, her efforts were not without fruits of reward. On the stillness of the air hung the scent of another, though how close the stranger was remained a mystery. Never the less, Krystal’s senses sharpened, as they began to work overtime on locating this new visitor. On the opens plains of Ge-Rad, there would be no place for one to hide if such was their intention. So it wasn’t long till bi-hued sapphire and emerald pools located the source of the scent. A Varg of ivory color slowly approached the Ge-Radian, making sure to keep some distance between them. From the slender figure of the Varg, Krystal could tell the gender, also given away by her sapphire pools which held an air of kindness to them. But if Krystal had learned anything during her journey of enlightenment, and past encounters before hand, is that appearances could very well be deceiving.
What stood out in Krystal’s mind was the coloration under the stranger’s tail. A streak of grape flavors ran along the under portion, and for a few moments, Krystal’s eyes were transfixed by it, for it reminded the fae of just how various and diverse wolves could be. “Um, Hi.” Krystal responded back, her mind still pondered over the purpose of the ivory fae’s visit, and whether her attentions were good or bad ones. These thoughts for the moment, had managed to take away the notion of still being under Fenris’ ever flowing downpour of heat. Being on such a strenuous excursion around the territory of Ge-Rad, and exposed to this on going heat wave, has tired the lead scout. Krystal’s tounge hung loosely from her maw, as did her tail limp from exhaustion. For now, there was no threat of being attacked, but Krystal still kept to the side of caution, and for the moment, preferred that the stranger remain where she stood.
“So what brings you to Ge-Rad?” Krystal finally asked in a friendly and curious tone. “Especially in this heat of all times, I’d imagine you’d want to stay away from the plains, and being exposed to Fenris like this.” Krystal was expecting any number of reasons to be explained. Perhaps she’s a wandering kerl who had just stumbled past the boarders without notice. If so, Krystal would have to make a note to re issue scent markers along the edge of the terra that made up Ge-Rad’s borders. The longer the bi-hued fae remained out in the exposure of Fenris’ brilliance, the antsier she became. It didn’t help that most of the Ge-Radian’s fur is of the midnight darkness, which absorbed the sun gods radiance like a towel absorbs water. Yet for the good of the pack, she would do her best to remain pleasant and friendly, and be a fine representative of the Ge-Rad pack.

It might have just been the heat, or it could have been something else, but the time seemed to pass slowly. Koiji placed the blame on the heat, as such things did drag down the moods and such of the animals. She wanted to cringe away from the heat, find some place shady at least... But on these plains, as the Ge-Radian varg in front of her would soon point out, there wasn't much. It wasn't long beore the ebon varg spoke, she smiled, tounge lolling again, attempting to suck in what little mostuire was in the air. That wasn't much as it turned out. She sighed to herself and continued to look at her aquaintance. She looked pretty strong, despite her lithe graceful figure. She nodded, attempting to think of a responce that would fit the suituation. She could comment on the weather? Well, what could she say? "Oh, the God's have given us a nice day haven't they? I feel like I'm on one of man's red folwers personally, but there you go..." She sighed again, telling herself that that was not the sort of thing that would be considered appropiate unless she was with a friend. Was now the right time to crack jokes?
In the time that it had taken her to think about conversation starters as it were, the other varg spoke. Koiji felt a little relieved, seeing as nomally didn't take her this long to respond. It was a question, one that was good, seeing as she knew she'd tip-toed onto a pack's lands, but was unaware of which one. She felt relieved to acknowlegde that this was a safe pack, one of which the alphas of Deor were in good touch with. The smile on her maw spread, a doggy grin appearing. "Ah, so it's Ge-Rad that I've come across is it?" She nodded, and then continued. "I'm Koiji, of Deor, I was wondering towards the waterfall, but I seemed to have strayed a little." She said, a little sheepishness appearng on her in her features. She watched the fae with interest, now she was closer she noticed that the marking she'd seen at a distance, was in fact a moon shape, she stared, transfixed by it for a moment, just as Krystal had been at her tail a moment ago. She remembered Mist once telling her of a wonderful varg she was great friends with from Ge-Rad... She'd had a nice name... Koiji strained to remember, that conversation had been a while ago. "May I ask who you are stranger?" She continued, in her friendly manner.
It made sense the next question. Of course, what was she doing here? Nothing was out and about in this weather, nothing in it's right mind would want to be drained of what little energy they might have in them. It was just one of those days... She plopped herself onto he haunches before she spoke again. "I'm not entirely sure, it's that sort of weather today that makes you feel exhausted as soon as you step out into it... I guess I was just plain bored, and the fact I wanted to cool down at the waterfall, waters good for that sort of thing." She trailed off, knowing she was babbling. She smiled appoligetically. And then a question popped into her head. She wanted to ask it, and felt that it wasn't inappropiate or anything, so she went ahead and did so. "I presume your a scout, aren't you? It's a little hot to be out, and it must be murder with your coat being such a dark colour and all... I'm sorry, I'm being rude aren't I?" She trailied off, her expression turning to one of a sheepish appoligy.

The heat was growing more intolerable with each minute that floated on by, like a drifting leaf dancing in the wind. Only there was no breeze to relieve Ge-Rad and its inhabitance of the oven like conditions that plagued the living. Those with dark pelts took the full brunt of Fenris’ wrath, and Krystal was no exception to this. Because of Koiji unexpected appearance, the lead scout had exposed herself to the elements much longer then originally planned. As a result, the baking heat was quickly sucking away the former Zanguzen’s reserved energy. Her ebon and ivory fur began to droop, much like her midnight banner. Krystal knew that something would have to be done quickly; she had exhausted most of her energy during the morning patrol, and was quickly using up her reserves just to keep a cool and level headed front, as if nothing at all bothered her. It seemed to be working for the moment.
Koiji would be less strained by the heat, with her mostly ivory pelt. If not for the desire of wanting shade, the Ge-Radian’s bi-hued sapphire and emerald pools would be more curious about the Deorian’s own odd colorations. Koiji, as the Deorian called her self, came off as very polite, and if nothing has changed during the time that passed when the former Zanguzen trekked on her journey of enlightenment, the two packs were indeed allies. With the threat of an enemy encounter now a thing of the past, the Ge-Radian took on a more pleasant demeanor, choosing to speak when Koiji had finished. “Not at all, I’m Krystal Zanguzen.” Came her reply, followed by a series of panting as it seemed that even speaking sucked away at her reserves. “You’re right; I am Ge-Rad’s lead scout. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Koiji of Deor.” After a few breathes, Krystal moved her form so that her bi-hued gaze now stared across the plains, in opposite direction of the forest.
“The waterfall you speak of lies that way, across Ge-Rad’s plains.” Krystal spoke, keeping her gaze locked in the direction she spoke of. Krystal herself had made that journey many times, and knew what was in store for Koiji. With that in mind, she turned her bi-hued kaleidoscopes back on the Deorian. “But I warn you,” Krystal spoke with great concern in her tone. “There is no shelter from Fenris for much of the length of your journey their. But if you travel under Tor’s guidance, your journey will be a swifter one.” At that moment, Krystal took the opportunity to shake her pelt back to life, in the hopes of recapturing some lost vigor. The lead scout would have to leave now, if she wished to make it back to the safety of Ge-Rad’s forest. “If you like, you can find shade in Ge-Rad’s forest with me, until Fenris descends.” Krystal offered politely, but hoped Koiji would answer quickly.

The ivory pelted fae noticed that the Zanguzen in front of her was growing uncomfortable. Koiji had a prickly feeling growing in her coat; one that was probably caused by the heat. She pricked her ears to what Krystal said next, and panted slightly in a vauge attempt to cool off. She introduced herself as Krystal, and went on to give her full title to her. She was indeed a scout, and at that the lead one of the Ge-Radians. Krystal was coming across as a well mannered friendly varg to the young Deorian. She smiled and allowed her tassle to sway slightly through the air. "Well, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Krystal, I've heard some good things about you from Mist." She smiled friendily, pink tongue still lolling from her muzzle. She knew that the heat must be getting to the darker pelted varg, her own patches of black, mainly on her paws got hot enough when light of Fenris shone on them. It must have been a thousand times worse for poor Krystal. She hoped that Krystal wasn't too bothered by the heat, and was going to ask if she'd like to move to some shadier location, but something else was said so she answered to the new statement.
Koiji nodded, vaugely recalling the way that the she meant. Koiji took the warning into account. She would be rosted alive if she strided onto the plains at this time of the day. "Thank-you for the advice Krystal, I aprciate it. The thing is, where could I go until Tor rises?" She asked, unsure if the Zanguzen wanted her to be on her packlands. She nodded agian, acknowlegding that any journey was swifter under Tor's guidance. Krystal looked like she was going to make a move soon, and the chance to shelter came up. "I'd love to come and shelter with you, Krystal. It'd be nice to get to know someone I've heard so many good things about. That is, if you don't mind my presence in your packlands?" She added on the end, seeing as her prensence wasn't always wanted.
Koiji was quite happy at the prospect of being able to socialize with a Varg that she had heard so much about, and she'd got a good reputation from the wolves that Koiji had heard about her from. She grinned, and started to rise from her paws. Once there, she looked towards the direction of the land that Krystal must have been talking about heading into. She could see that the trees lined the forest floors, making a little pathway through the woods. She turned her attentions back to the Zanguzen, and smiled. Koiji's tail wagged a little more, and her panting stopped for while. Her maw parted a moment later as she asked about where Krystal would like to head. "I should think that you'll want to move now? You must be feeling like you're perched on one of those red flowers of man. I'm sorry, that's a little rude again?" She sighed, and took a step forward. "I don't mean to be rude, but shall we go m'dear?" She smiled sheepishly, hoping that Krystal wasn't thinking that she was a rude presence in the packlands.

(God Mod Approved)
If it wasn’t for the heat, it could be said that things were going very well for Krystal. The lead scout had covered much of the land of Ge-Rad in such a short time, faster than any time she had ever attempted before. This end result only meant one thing. That the journey the bi-hued fae took had indeed made Krystal stronger, faster and more able, resulting in a very capable lead scout, with knowledge of the whole territory of Ge-Rad and the ability to move swiftly through the terra like wind streaks across the sky. Yet in doing so, Krystal had exhausted much energy, even more so with the heat of the sun god bearing heavily down upon the land. His fiery gaze glared at the very creatures that he called sons and daughters, and threatened to consume them and all their resources in his fit of rage. As the Ge-Radian listened carefully to Koiji, her ebon auds twitched at the mention of Mist, causing her midnight banner to sway lightly. “Mist is such a sweetheart, I miss her so much.” Krystal spoke in a kind tone. The lead scout felt a bit flustered upon learning that the Deorian Drappa spoke fondly of her, and as a result a smile formed on her maw. “I’m glad to learn that she’s doing well.”
As the conversation continued, Krystal began to feel more and more flustered, and she wondered just how much has Mist spoken about her? The Deorian Drappa was certainly well known in the lands of Ge-Rad. The Drappa’s kindness was said to know no mortal bounds, and Krystal was of course honored that Mist had picked the lead scout to be the god mother of her litter. “Mist is well known in these lands as well.” Krystal spoke her thoughts aloud. “You have a kind, loving, and very brave Drappa. And I’m honored that she speaks so highly of me. And no, of course you’re not a bother Koiji. Any varg of Deor is welcomed in the lands of Ge-Rad, I’m glad I can be of some help to you on your journey. I know how grueling such a venture can be.” It would soon be time for the two wolves to seek shelter under the shade of Ge-Rad’s mighty red wood sentries. But not before Koiji would have a few more words. With that, another smile would adorn the midnight maw of the former Zanguzen. Krystal took a moment to shake some life back into her form, allowing some air to seep into her ebony and ivory pelt. “It’ll take more than the wrath of Fenris to keep me down. Now, let’s not dally any longer in the open then we have too.”
The display was merely a show of course. Krystal was still panting from the heat, as she could feel her energy reserves being drained and evaporated by the might, and will of Fenris. Her pelt sagged from the humidity, as the energy of the sun was absorbed and trapped by the darker portions of her pelt. With what energy the two wolves held in reserves, Krystal and Koiji made their way along the plains of Ge-Rad as swiftly as they could. Krystal ran alongside the Deorian, for fear that if the heat did manage take down one varg, the other would be right there to help at a moment’s notice. The ground beneath their paws bit at the two wolves, Krystal had never before felt such a rage from the sun goddess, and she wondered what in Tor’s name could cause Fenris to act in such a manner. Eventually, the Ge-Radian and Deorian managed to safely make their way into the shelter of Ge-Rad’s forest. The ancient guardians of Ge-Rad served as a shield from the heat, and their shadows soon enveloped the tired duo, bringing some relief as a result. Krystal took a seat beside one of these massive red woods, and motioned Koiji to join her with a movement of her head. The forest was silent as always, for the creatures of the land were probably too hiding from Fenris. “So how are Mist and her cubs doing?” Krystal asked politely, her tail swishing contently.

Sorry for the wait Krys, I hope the post is worth waiting for =3
It didn't take a genius to see that the questionable heat that was engulfing the land was slowly taking it's toll on the two wolves. Koiji panted, in a vain attempt to cool down, and as she looked over at the ebony/ivory fae, she saw that Fenris was scorcing her, more than he was scorching herself. She listened to what the former Zanguzen had to say about Mist, the young she-varg was happy to hear that Krys thought so highly of the wonderful Deorian Drappa, too. She smiled, beginging to grow concerned for her friend. She didn't want the sun God to sap all of her energy away, like a spider when it catches a fly upon it's silky web; she waited and saw that Krystal was going to respond to some of her other words from before. She smiled, waiting for an opportunity to ask the ebon fae would she like to take their chat to a more shadyier area of Ge-Rad.
A grin grew upon Koiji's maw again, as she heard about how Mist was well known in the lands of this great pack, and how she was welcome here as long as she wanted to stay. She thought it was very nice of Krystal to say this, and grinned. "Well, it's good to hear that Mist has made such a good impression on this pack, and also that I am welcome to stay. I apprciate it very much, especially as this infernal heat is such a presence today." She grinned widely, and realised that she sounded really formal as she had said this. She giggled, and asked her friend if she had sounded formal. "That came out sounding really formal then, didn't it?" She smiled, and laughed, but soon stopped again due the prickly feeling that was coming over her coat as she did so. The sun made it uncomfortable to move. When Krystal responded to her previous comment of should the two of them move into a more pleasant spot, she nodded, and let the Ge-Radian lead her into the forests.
The two of them sped off across the plains, as fast as the heat, and their aching paws would allow. Koiji looked about her, marvelling at the humungeous trees that made up the forests of Ge-Rad. They were a lot bigger than some of the ones in Deor she noted, and looked about at what of the Ge-Rad land she could see. The trees made what lay beyond hard to see, but the yearling didn't mind, her keen icy blue hues were content with the colourful scenery about her. She ran close to Krystal, with, although neither varg knew it, the same idea in mind. If one should fall, the other would be there to help. Koiji knew she'd be happy to help Krys if anything should happen, which thankfully it didn't. They soon reached the cover of the trees, and the emense cool that drifted over them as they entered was colassal. Koiji's paws throbbed from running along the hard ground, but her sooty socks were already begining to cool. She licked at one of them trying to cool them down.
Once Krystal had seated herself, the Deorian flopped to the floor, laying down and revelling in the shade. The Deorian noticed then how still the forests were, how peaceful. She could see why the Dragga of Deor had chosen to come here during the drought that was upon Deor for a couple of weeks. Krystal asked of Mist and her cubs, so Koiji told her what she knew. "Well, Mist herself is doing well from the last time I saw her, she was worried about Chayton though, appently he's been out longer this time than he has for a long time. And as for Ryu and Delilah, they've grown to be happy young wolves. I'm able to tell you more of Delilah than Ryu, I'm sorry, as he is out training. Me and Lilah though, are best frineds." She grinned at the mention of the beige Mann. She'd only ever met him once or twice, and knew most of what she knew about him from Delilah. But still, it hadn't stopped her thinking that the ever elusive, as it were, Ryu, was handsome. She blushed at the thought and waited to see what Krystal would say next.

The cool of the forest was much appreciated by the two fae’s, eager to greet the shade of Ge-Radian sentinels over the heat of Fenris’ orb. It would no doubt take a while for a comfortable temperature to return to Krystal and Koiji, but there was no rush. The bi-hued Ge-Radian’s rounds were over, and soon another wolf would come in to replace the lead scout of her mid day shift. The heat of the day had taken a heavy toll on the former Zanguzen. Ebon limb s throbbed and pulsated from the difficulty and strain of the mid day patrol. The heat of the ground could be felt on Krystal’s paw pads which quickly needed tending too, as the bi-hued Ge-Radian first gave full priority to them by licking each paw in turn thoroughly. Krystal’s entire frame had taken the brunt of Fenris’ warmth, each particle of light and heat having been absorbed into the ebon portion of the lead scout’s fur. It was apparent that so long as this heat wave continued, there would be no way Krystal could continue patrolling the borders during this time of day. On normal circumstances, the lead scout of Ge-Rad contained incredible endurance and such strain would have been no more than a usual stroll through the woods. But Fenris made sure that this day was anything but normal.
Once Koiji was settled, the ivory fae began to tell the stories of Mist and her beloved cubs. Krystal was glad to learn that Deor was doing well. She was slightly concerned over the safety of Chayton, but such was the way of the ivory and blue hued guard. She had only met once or twice, but knew that the male was good for Mist and would make a proud and respectable father. From the look of things, Koiji and Delilah would grow up to be very close, indicating that the pack itself must be flourishing even during these difficult times. “Ge-Rad has been going through a heat wave as of the past few suns.” Krystal explained, her voice lacking much enthusiasm as the be-hued fae panted between breathes. “The herds have also gone missing from their usual routs. Herla are becoming difficult to find, no doubt they’ve migrated closer to the great river. We might have no choice but to migrate ourselves if things continue down this path.” The concept of having to relocate the pack would no doubt fall on deaf ears in the auds of the Ge-Radian Dragga. Krystal was worried for the safety of Ge-Rad, and wondered how long the pack could survive on field mice and other rodents.
The theme was quickly growing more morbid, and the lead scout wished to move the subject away from Ge-Rad’s growing concerns. “What about you Koiji?” Krystal asked politely, moving the conversation along in another direction. “How are things in your life? You mentioned earlier that you travel for the sake of right? Where have those travels taken you?” She wondered perhaps if Koiji’s ventures had mirrored any of Krystal’s own destinations. One tends to meet the most interesting of Varg’s on such excursions. Krystal could recall all the pack Varg’s and Kerls she had met during her last great journey, each one leaving their mark on the fae in one shape or another. Great friends were made, as well as bitter enemies. One varg who Krystal recalled with a great deal of fondness, was an ebon male of Koranian blood. She wondered how he was doing, and if he would perhaps one day visit the land Krystal called home. She could feel herself grow flustered and quickly hid her enthusiasm by averting her gaze for a few moments, in an attempt to also conceal a growing smile at the thought of him. Turning back to Koiji, she awaited the ivory fae’s response.
//ooc: I’m sorry for the lame post, I actually typed this up while on a plane ride, lol. Hope it’s ok.//

O o C ; I can't begin to say how sorry I am for the wait on this post, and I have no idea if you still want to continue this thread. : ( I'll post, and if you do you do want to post then you can, but if not, then fair enough =3 I'm incredibly sorry for the wait though<33 And the ending, it's a little blah, sorry <3 Koiji couldn't help but notice how much more comfortable Krys looked when she was under the cover of the trees. True, these tall trees that boarded and guarded the meadow were welcoming and shady, a brilliant retreat for days like this. She smiled softly to herself, and listened closely as Krystal's voice drifted through the air. Koiji nodded at her words, a heatwave was the perfect way to describe it. Although, with this deathly heat, you might have gone as far to say that Fenris was actually going to come to earth ; his fiery gaze growing hotter and hotter as he neared the place the wolves called home. Again, Koiji nodded. She too had noticed that the animals were little and few in numbers at the moment, and from what had been said to her before-hand, it sounded like they wouldn't be back for a while, either.
"I don't mind the sun, but when it gets this hot, I can't help but wonder is Fenris trying to punish us for something?" The she-wolf panted, and then let out a sigh before inhaling again. She could see why the Lead Scout of Ge-Rad was worried about this heat wave, the prospect of relocating an entire pack was something that was risky and unfair. However, the weather couldn't stay like this forever, so they could live in hope. The skies were pure blue - the same sort of colour as the scout's own hues - without a rain cloud, or a normal fluffy white cloud in sight. This was slightly worrying to Koiji, as it showed that there probably wouldn't be rainfall for a while now, and that could lead to drought. "It'd be terrible if you had to do that, Krys, but I have a feeling that it won't come to that though. Besides, if I lived here, I wouldn't want to leave. From the small part of it I've seen, Ge-Rad seems beautiful!" They sat in silence for a second, not an awkward one like they sometimes were, but a comfortable one, it felt to the young she-wolf that her and Krystal were long lost friends or something. When Krys spoke again, Koiji's ears pricked. "Me?" She asked, unsure of what Krystal meant. Thankfully, she explained herself, and Koiji let out a little laugh that jingled musically around the trees. "They're good, thanks. Apart from this intense heat, I'm really happy." She started, and then listened to the second part of the question. Traveling was one of the she-wolf's hobbies, and being a Scout allowed her to do that without getting into trouble. She was perfectly suited for the job, lithe and fast. She was easily able to run around for most of the day, and better than that, she loved to do so.
"Well, many places really." She began, trying to think of something that might have interested Krystal. She soon thought of something. "It's kinda funny what happens, actually. When I was younger, I wasn't aware that some Vargs might not be as nice as they look, and I found that out on two main occasions. The first one, I came face to face with a cannibal, and managed to agitate him. Well, I thought I was being nice, but he didn't seem to like socializing." She let out another laugh, shaking her head. "I met him again just a while ago too. I stood up for myself this time, and didn't allow myself to be afraid. Thankfully, nothing went wrong, and I lived again. Something else, - and this might sound a bit strange to you - was when I ran into another Fae by the old abandoned settlement. She was called Ayame, and we became quite good friends. But what I didn't realize at the time was that she was a member of List, and when my adoptive mother Silve found us and came to say hi, Ayame went berserk. Anyway, um... She grabbed me, and ran off, my Mum chasing us, barking at her to put me down. And she did. But I fell, because she threw me down a rather steep and rocky hill. That's how I got this scar..." She said, sighing and using her nose to point to the vivid red mark upon her shoulder. It still looked as red as the day it had appeared on her side, but it was long since healed.
She frowned, and then turned to face Krys again. "But it's not always as bad as that! I've made plenty of friends, and a lot of them in Deor." She laughed with good nature, her thoughts turning to a Mann in Deor that she'd only met a couple of times. She wondered if the creamy coloured warrior would want her in the same way she was beginning to want him, and sighed under her breath. She turned her attentions back to Krystal again, and grinned happily. [/blockquote]
