A light tap on the back told me that I was it. Shadow sped past me and Chiaruscoro. I giggled and ran faster and faster. I was almost near Chiaruscoro's tail. THUMP!!! I tripped over a big rock. I rolled and missed his tail by inches.
I giggled and got up. I had a scratch on my leg that had ripped off a little fur, but I wasn't worried about it. I started to run, picking up speed as I went. I sniffed for Chiaroscuro and Shadow. Since Shadow had just been it, I decided to go after Chiaroscuro. He was heading straight ahead of me.
"Man, I love it here!" I thought to myself. Chiaroscuro's tail was just ahead of me. I could barely make it out from the shadows. Every time he passed through the sunlight, his tail seemed to wave at me. Fenris's heat shined down on the lands of Koran, but in the shade, I gave no mind.
My cut started to bleed, turning my white coat red. It also started to burn. I glanced down at it, and then sprinted towards Chiaroscuro. I could tell he was dead tired, for I was by him in minutes. I laughed and tapped him.
"Your it!" I yelled. I stopped and ran in the opposite direction. I sniffed for Shadow and soon found her scent. She was headed towards the stream. I ran as fast as I could towards her, not looking back to see if Chiaroscuro was following me.

(Sorry if this will be short, but I totally ran out of muse on this one. Sorry. I'm sooo sorry...)
Tail wagging, he heard Shadowwolf call out something to Chiaroscuro. Forstpool's it?! He glanced back for a brief second. He saw Frostpool a couple inches from tagging his tail. He tried to run faster, but he only would end up falling, then getting tagged even faster. A sigh clinched through his throat. He didn't want to be it! He hated being it! He thought madly while running, It's not fair! I don't wanna be it! Being it is so unfair! Why can't we play a different game? I don't wanna be it! A growl sounded through his gritted teeth.
His tail stopped wagging midair. He saw that Frostpool had tripped, and he wanted to see if she was alright. But he didn't want to be it in tag. I think I'll just let her deal with herself... He bolted onward, looking over his shoulder for a longer time. Something that he saw made him want to scream. Frostpool got up and was an inch from tagging his tail. He didn't want to be it! He made his claws dig into the muddy soil, trying to get a grip on it. C'mon legs, move faster! He bolted faster, then he felt that something had touched his tail. Madness scorched through him as he turned around, ready to tag the next wolf he saw.

ooc: Shadow's ending the tag game.
Shadow was no more than a blur of black and white. Her paws thumped the ground hard as she ran from Frostpool and Chiaroscuro. Her pants were coming out of her in ragged breaths. Something in her mind jolted and called her to a halt. Why do we bother to play such a game? No one likes to be 'it'. Most of all isn't everyone just tired now? Shadow wondered at this thought.
Seconds became minutes as time flew by. Shadow was now wandering aimlessly through the Koran forest, still pondering on her sudden question. I'm pretty sure Chiaroscuro is tired and Frostpool must be tired from walking all the way here. I'm dead on my feet as well. I'd better end this game afore it gets dark. Shadow thought. Looking up to the dawn sky. Fenris would soon be gone and Tor would be out to rule in his stead.
Shadow's black sniffed the air, looking for Frostpool's and Chiaroscuro's scent. Where could they possibly be? Wh- Shadow's nose caught something. A scent on the breeze. There they are! Shadow yipped and scurried toward their direction. Her paws carried her into her friends' direction. I hope they're still there when I come. Shadow hoped.
Rounding yet another bend, Shadow was on top of a hill. Looking down from it's tall peak, Shadow spotted her pals immediately. Frostpool's white coat was now red from blood, which was now dripping on the ground. Chiaroscuro was ahead seeming as though he was still running from Frostpool. Shadow's eyes were filled with worry. I gotta stop this stupid game....soon. Shadow growled. Taking a deep breath, Shadow let out her loudest bark yet. "ARULF! Shadow seemed to scream the bark, caring it throughout Koran territory.
Shadow's throat burned from the scream. Swallowing the pain down, Shadow glared at her friends. Her once sapphire eyes now glowed an icy blue."Are we done playing this game!?! Are we done getting hurt and tired? Are we done fooling around!?! WELL!?! Frostpool, are you done running around with that cut or are you planning to bleed to death? Chiaroscuro are you done trying to tear and rip your paws apart? Shadow said, her mind now on fire. I'm tired of playing this stupid game. No one wins and everyone loses. My paws and throat hurt. We all are tired and perhaps hungry. So why don't we stop this game? Shadow's question seemed more like a demand.
Shadow's body trembled with rage and from taking deep breaths. Sighing she climbed down the hill. In her mind she knew she had no right to yell at them, but it felt good to get her anger out of her once in a while. "Come on, I might as well take a look at your injures." Shadow growled, walking past Frostpool and Chiaroscuro.

"Come on, I might as well take a look at your injuries," Shadow said. I nodded and sat down. I stuck my paw out.
"You're right, Shadow. Maybe instead we could play hide and go seek. My parents used to play that with me all the time," I said. I giggled. Fenris was slowly slipping away, making me yawn. I knew bed was just around the corner.
The birds songs soon stopped, and the crickets took over. My ears could pick up the sounds of squirrels scurrying around in the trees, preparing for bed. Tonight was going to be a bit chilly.
"I wonder if Shadow is going to be a healer once she's old enough? She's motherly, caring, and knows a lot about herbs and stuff like that," I thought to myself. Then, I decided to find out for myself.
"Shadow, are you going to be a healer when you're older?" I asked. I laid down, for I couldn't hold my paw up much longer. I yelped as I set it on the ground, for the sudden pressure hurt.

(I'm sorry, this'll be my last post in here...)
He heard Shadowwolf bark something that made him feel so relived. Slowing to a stop, the ebony male looked at Frostpool and her wound. Frostpool held out her paw to Shadowwolf and asked her if she was going to be a healer when she grew up. I want to be a hunter of Koran when I grow up! I'll make sure that the pack has enough food for the harsh winters! Tail wagging a bit, he remembered that he had to meet up with the pack and Alice. Tail not wagging, he looked down at his soft paws.
"Guys, I have to go, sorry..." he stilled stared down at his paws as he spoke those words. He got up, looking down at the ground, then raced off into the darkness. He followed his way, almost blindly, through the thickened undergrowth of the Koran pack woods. He looked back to see nobody in sight. Good, he thought before racing through the thickened Koran undergrowth.
(So sorry for the shortness.)

ooc: It's gunna be my last post as well. The herb name is a name I made up. Sorry for the lame ending.
Fenris was half way down, making the sky a pink, orange, purple, and red color. Clouds were no longer a fluffy white, but a fluffy purple. The stars had just begun to show themselves. Twinkling and glittering in the early night. On the other side of the sky rose Tor, her beauty unrivaled in the nighttime skies.
Shadow's eyes glowed in the late evening sky. Her paws ached from running almost non stop from their endless game of tag. Shadow watched as Frostpool sat down, sticking out her paw for her to see. "You're right, Shadow. Maybe instead we could play hide and go seek. My parents used to play that with me all the time. Shadow, are you going to be a healer when you're older?," Frostpool asked. Shadow shook her head and looked down at the cut. It's not really a deep cut and I need to clean out the dirt and all that out. Shadow thought sighing. " Perhaps....I really don't know what I really want to be. Stay here and don't move." Shadow said. She heard Frostpool yelp as she put her paw on the ground. Turning to her other friend, Chiaroscuro.
Shadow's mouth was open about to ask him if he had gotten hurt in the game. She hadn't uttered as much as a bark before he spoke. "Guys, I have to go, sorry..." Chiaroscuro said before charging into the forest. Shadow watched as his ebony pelt blend into that of the darkness. "Bye Chiaroscuro! Good luck and good night!", Shadow called as he ran. Turning back to Frostpool, Shadow looked once more at her cut before walking off toward the forest. "I'm gunna go look for some herbs so don't go any where" Shadow said before running off.
Shadow's blue lanterns bobbed up and down as she looked for herbs. Let's see, I need cobwebs, water, and wolf's tail. Shadow thought going over her list. Going to a nearby bush, Shadow spotted cobwebs weaved into the leaves and branches. Sorry spiders Shadow thought before using her tail to get the silver webs. Sniffing the bottoms of trees, Shadow soon scented the bitter scent of wolf's tail. Her nose brushed over the fuzzy leaves, as Shadow picked a few of the stems. Now for the water. Shadow's nose lifted into the air and looked for fresh water. Before leaving the tree, Shadow's paw scraped the tree's trunk. Getting off some moss that she would use to carry water. Quickly running toward a small stream Shadow dropped the herb and soaked the moss in the cool waters. Now to go back
Shadow's head popped out of the trees, holding the wolf's tail and the water soaked moss. Shadow's eyes focused onto Frostpool's body, looking at the cut in her paw. The bleeding had almost stopped by now. Shadow dropped the herbs and grabbed the moss. Drenching the cut with clean water. Only to press onto the wound with the silvery cobwebs. Soaking up any blood that was coming out and stopping the wound from further bleeding. Picking back up the wolf's tail Shadow chewed on the bitter herb. Spitting it back out onto her paw, Shadow looked back at Frostpool. "This might sting." Shadow said before taking the webs away and apply the herb. Smoothing the poultice over the cut, Shadow looked back up at Frostpool. "Well that should do it. Don't wash it off for a few days and the cut will heal by then." Shadow looked back up into the sky. Taking note of the stars. "It's getting late, if you're gunna go home you should go now while the sun is still setting. I need to go back to my den as well. Bye Frostpool. Good luck and good night." Shadow said before turning her head and running off into the woods. Leaving her friend behind and going toward her home.

I yelped as I got up, for the stuff Shadow had put on had stung. I lifted up my paw and managed to walk a few tail lengths before I had to stop. Tor was ruling the skies tonight, not letting a thing get in her way.
The birds were silent now, along with the squirrels. The owls were hooting loudly and every so often I would hear a flutter of wings. I sighed.
"Koran is so different. I...I wish I knew where Mother was. I hope she's all right. And, well, I guess, Father, too," I thought to myself. A tear rolled down my face, like a single rain drop. I watched it roll down onto the ground.
I imagined the tear making a loud boom to any ants or bugs or stuff like that down on the ground. I watched as one ant scurried by. I giggled at it and wondered what it was like to be itty bitty like that. Then I realised that all vargs are itty bitty.
I looked up to the night sky and howled. It was long, cold, and hard. That howl fit my mood for the night, happiness mixed with loneliness mixed with a feeling I hadn't realised I was feeling, guilt.
