That is the complaint I get from my parents all the time "You're 17, you're too old for that stuff!" it annoys the heck out of me. Honestly I think any age can enjoy a good cartoon.

Mmmm cartoons.
I don't think age is really the issue because they have cartoons for the 'older kids' and adults too, look at Adult Swim. Also, it seems to me that people who are even just a tad artistic enjoy cartoons longer than 'other' people. Artists love cartoons - look at Zostar and I; he likes Metalocalypse and I like the more childish things like.. well, we won't get into that.

Ha! True Wuffbane, true.... but a good childhood film is nice to watch now and then, despite age. The cartoons for older kids and adults are amusing too >D

I agree with you all the way Gen! Just the other day I was watching The Lion King and I was like, "Wow, I never realized how much I actually like this movie!" And I was all singing along with weird little songs that Simba and them sing and laughing at the same time.
So I don't think that someone can get too old for cartoon/Disney movies. Every now and again, there is always a time when someone (even adults) enjoy watching "little kid movies". Like Bolt, the new Disney movie, for example. My parents think that movie looks cute and say that they'd go see it when it comes out. And of course, I will to. I can't resist. It's looks adorable.

I agree~ Never too old for a good Disney movie. I still like The Lion King myself, not to mention Fern Gully is golden (even though it's not Disney... is it?).
And like Wolfy said... Metalocalypse ftw. Adult Swim stuff is good, too ;)

The Aladdin triology, The Lion King 1 and 2, Oliver and Company, Redwall, Watership Down, Fern Gully, Secret's of NIMH.
There's just so many to list.
Wolfbane: Oh boo Draeg, you know Watership Down scared the pants off of you. Great film, I loved the seagull.

You're never old for anything. I believe there is a saying says 'old, but young at heart'. So, I guess you can't be old for anything. My dad's like 4o something and he enjoys Tom and Jerry when its on..... 0_o . I love cartoons! Spirit, Balto 1 and 2, Lion King 1 and 2, Bambi, and The Fox and the Hound. I like all of them.

Ahh this topic comes up very often with my friends.. We always try to find the disney and other cartoons that age well and frankly I find all Disney films age well... If nothing else it takes you back to your childhood. Disney has done a great job on that front. Other film companies have done well also. I of course love the Balto films, all the Disney films, mostly, the lion king 1 and 2, fox and the hound, you know the animal ones ...
Wow watership down, haven't seen that in ages. So yeah, never ever ever too old.. I don't care what you say *covers ears and sticks out tongue*

I like Fern Gully number 2, whatever that one is called. =P But I don't think that that's Disney.
All Dogs Go To Heaven is awesome. But the second one was weird....
But over all, I think my fav is The Fox And The Hound, which has already been said. Oh and Balto, but I don't like the second and third. Most movie's sequels are not as good as the first.

Nope, I don't think anyone is too old for cartoons, or any animation of any kind. Now maybe for Barney or Bob the Builder- but not for Disney movies. Heck, my mom is usually the one to drag me to see the Disney movies with her XP

Nope, good movies, like good books, are timeless.
Really, I hear the 'too old for that' thing from parents a lot, and especially from my 'I'm-too-cool-for-you' prep-ish sister. And I'm about to be 19 years old, for cripes sake. Nope, never too old. I'll be a kid forever so nyaa.
Lion King 1 and 2 yess.. and Beauty and the Beast and Fox and the Hound. Also, I still love 'Quest for Camelot' even though it's not Disney. I mean look at the reaction that Finding Nemo got from all crowds, not just kids. And Cars as well. But still.. they just don't make movies like they used to.
