I stepped on a leave, and it cracked under my paw. I lifted my paw and saw a broken leave. Then, a random thought hit me like a stroke of lightning, Why are Man so smart? I mean, they are smarter than us! Come on, everyone knows that! I looked up at the sky, it was a very good day for joining a pack, having a friend or something. . . . That would be nice. . . .
I closed my eyes to think clearer. Thinking to much, I hadn't noticed that I crossed into Ge-Rad! I never been to Ge-Rad, so everything was new. I opened my only sky blue eye and saw everything that a wolf would want to see! There were trees, and I even saw prey running all around the place! Herla galloping. . . .
That surprised me. I never saw anything in my life that was this beautiful! Well, maybe Alice was more beautiful than this but still! Life will go well. But, I don't really know what this place is called. I never saw it before. . . . Maybe it was a pack! I gulped, afraid of what might happen to me in the future. I shook away the memory and moved on. Maybe this is. . . . No. That can't be right. Maybe. . . . No! Not right ether! Maybe. . . . This was Ge-Rad! I have heard that this was a very pretty place indeed. "Well lad," I told myself, "You've done it this time!" I looked all around again, and everything looked even better!
I was just sitting there, unaware of what would happen next to me. I never could tell that there just might be some other wolf behind me or even in front of me. I didn't sniff as well as for opening my ivory colored maw. I just sat there, in disbelief of all of this. . . wonderful piece of land. It was like I could curl up, and live forever in this wonderful place. Maybe I was right, maybe I was wrong. I would like to have a wonderful home like Alice's. Maybe, the wolves in this pack would let me join them. Only if this wonderful place was a pack.

The season of autumn had thoroughly set itself upon the land Ge-Radian’s called home. Its trees displayed a beautiful sea of orange and red that resembled the heavens of Fenris as his eye set in the far west. An elegant exhibit of the changing seasons had stirred much of the wild life that called Ge-Rad’s borders their land of residence. Lera and Herla alike spent the morning and afternoons grazing on the lush grass ways that made up half of Ge-Rad’s territory, the other half a thick labyrinth of red woods that held within its walls the secrets of the pack. A proud family of Varg’s who thrived on the bond entrusted with one another. They were heavy at work; preparations for the upcoming winter were well underway. The plentiful supply of Lera would soon be gone with the coming of Wolfbane’s ivory winter. And it was the job of an ebon and ivory fae to keep its boarders safe.
A bi-colored Ge-Radian streaked across the plains of Ge-Rad. Ebon paws only lightly grazing the ground as she propelled herself forward. The day was bright, but Fenris’ kingdom held many clouds to burden his light from shining on the terra. What light did manage to shimmer through gently lapped at Krystal’s bi-hued pelt, leaving a warm radiance to sparkle on her pelt as the former Zanguzen raced along the lands she calls home. Krystal was in charge of patrolling Ge-Rad while under the careful watch of Fenris, and the fae made sure to cover every inch of land she could. Her bi-hued sapphire and emerald optics scouting the world around her for any signs of oncoming danger, as her nares and auds picked up and smells and sounds that could other wise pose threatening. Nothing escaped the ever watchful scout.
Suddenly, Krystal picked up a scent tugged along by a passing breeze, a foreign stench not of Ge-Radian blood. Her lips curled to reveal ivory daggers, as the former Zanguzen remembered the still recent attack that had befallen her home courtesy of Sarnes and Balkar. With that thought in toe, Krystal changed direction and allowed the scent of the stranger to guide her path. She moved gracefully along the grassy plains with the skill and speed of her ancestry, allowing the Ge-Radian to move quickly while still maintaining silence. Soon the stranger came into sight, his ivory pelt plain as day stuck out like a target. At once Krystal rose her ebon maw too the heavens to announce the presence of a visitor, to warn the pack that a stranger walked their lands. Once her lyrics finally faded into peace, she approached Jasper cautiously, making sure to keep distance from the ivory male. “What business brings you to Ge-Rad’s boarders?” Krystal asked him in a calm voice.

The leaves had just begun to turn color, as autumn had hit the lands of Transylvania like an iron fist. It was perhaps the mann’s favorite time of year in his home of Ge-Rad, it was always so breath taking. The leaves were different shads of gold and maroon, even yellows and some greens. Not only did they decorate the trees, but littered the ground as well. It was cooler this time of year as well, as the makings of the great ivory and silver beta’s pelt began to lighten, making the marks on his legs, underbelly, and face almost invisible. In due time, when winter finally arrived, Shakó would become completely ivory like the goddess Tor. That was all in good time, though.
Dull gold eyes gazed up at the trees, and the forest around him. The last battle that scared this forest had scared the mann as well, in deeper ways than none but he could understand. What was worse, was his mate had once again disappeared, at least for the time being. She was know to have her own little adventures, and that was completely fine with Shakó. But he often worried for her safety, and did miss her company. Oh course, he had two growing cubs to keep in check, but it just wasn’t the same. Both had totally different personalities than the snow white Yelae, which was to expect. They were even growing old enough to leave the pack, that’s if they wanted to. Now, however, they were too old to sleep like they used to as cubs, curled up against their parents. It was a change that was expected, yet a change that Shakó could never really get used to, nor would ever want to.
The mann began to trot through the forest, his muscles rippling under his coat. Shakó was a rather big mann, a built warrior, beta made. His genetics made him this way, for long ago, his birth father was the alpha of a fighting pack. They only bred for wolves like Shakó, and even Shakó’s brother Bane. Speaking of Bane, Shakó hadn’t seen him around either, but that again was to be expected. The only thing Shakó could do now was more forward, though what felt like the empty forest.
All at once, light vocals rose into the air, not to far from where Shakó stood. He paused, only to identify the call, it was also an alarm. A stranger, someone had breached the boarders. Panic at once rose in his chest, as he picked up his pace, headed for the source of the call. “Krystal?” Shakó wondered aloud, remembering the bicolor fae. She had a mostly ebon pelt, with some ivory markings on her chest and underbelly. Shakó remembered their first encounter, how he had shamelessly snapped at her, but it was the time when Yelae was in labor. The mann had been a wreck then, and could she really blame him for acting so hostile? Ho hoped not, his instincts were all over the bored that day.
Upon arriving at the scene, the ivory beta indeed saw that is was Krystal, her back facing to him where he had stopped a few feet away. Shakó calmly regained his tall poise, and thanked Krystal silently to himself. Unfortunately, Shakó couldn’t pick up on what she could, reason being he lacked a sense of smell. If it wasn’t for vargs like her, he didn’t know what would become of his home. “What is it Krystal? And who’s this?” Shakó growled with curled lips, eyeing the stranger. It was another varg, once with a white creamy pelt and only one blue ocular. The mann smelt like kerl, but Shako wasn’t about to let up his guard. Instead, he rose his hackles and tail, making himself seem the most dominant of the three of them. In a way, he was, not that it ever matter to the mann. But it was his job to protect his home, for the sake of his packmates, and his children.

I heard the bushes crack and spin when I saw Krystal, my friend I met awhile back. I jumped up, and faced Krystal, my teeth shinning in the morning light. "I-I-I thought-- no!-- I was just thinking. Then, I moved, without my mind or my eye noticing it. Then, I found myself here-- in Ge-Rad. I was thinking and thinking so much, I never knew it! But, I love this wonderful place! I don't want to leave it now! Why," I stuttered, "can't I join you? In Ge-Rad?" I looked at her and my eye filled with sorrow. "Do you have an Alpha around here somewhere? A Beta, perhaps?"
I sniffed. I saw an ivory colored male, just like me. Only this wolf had two eyes, not one like me. Looking at him more and more, all the while harder and harder, I barked finally, "Are-- are you an Alpha or a Beta or some sort of a rank that is high?" I nuzzled my snout up in the air when I said high. My teeth turned into a smile, for some reason. I was not going to kill anyone at the moment, but I didn't want anyone to attack me!
(Sorry for the shortness everyone. I'm tired at the moment. I will be back tomorrow maybe!)

Krystal tilted her head inquisitively at Jasper’s remark, for at the moment the Ge-Radian fae couldn’t recall if she had indeed met this male at some point in the past. It was quite possible that she could have, for since receiving the Emissary position, the bi-colored fae had made countless trips to Deor and Koran, and met many Kerl’s along the way. The ivory male didn’t strike any chords of remembrance, but the possibly just couldn’t be ruled out. As Shako made the scene, the bi-colored scout took her eyes of Jasper for a moment to greet the proud Beta. His strong ivory presence stood confidently, as he held the demeanor of his position of the pack. In truth, Krystal had only seen Shako only a sparse amount of instances, and was glad that this disturbance had flushed out the Beta. If all was well with Jasper, perhaps the two Ge-Radians could have a discussion and the bi-colored fae could familiarize herself more with the other members of her family.
But for now, the focus was on this Kerl who had aimlessly made his way into Ge-Rad soil. “A passing Kerl is my guess.” Krystal responded to Shako’s question. Her own tail and stance stood dominant, but she made sure not to raise herself higher then Shako. “He doesn’t smell of the marsh of Sarnes, or the soil of Balkar. But one can’t be too careful.” Her bi-hued sapphire and emerald gaze once again found Jasper’s pearl white form as he spoke. It seemed the ivory male was looking for a home to call his own, and it wasn’t surprising to Krystal that Ge-Rad caught his eye. Winter would soon befall the world, and perhaps this fact alone was the reason behind Jasper’s longing to join the pack, a guess at the very least. “You’re looking at our Beta.” Krystal responded to him, as she motioned her gaze at the strong form of Shako. “You’re going to request to join Ge-Rad, without even giving your name? Did you never learn any manners?”

The ivory male licked his lips, his hackles still on end. His bright gold eyes didn’t leave this crème varg, even as he listened to Krystal. “So I guess that makes you a kerl,” he grunted unnecessarily. Even though he couldn’t smell the varg himself, he trusted Krystal’s nose, like he trusted her. True, he didn’t really know her, but if Draeg trusted her, so did he. However, he found it odd, that he “remembered” Krystal, when it looked as if Krystal didn’t even know this mann. Or was it just one of those passing days, when the two briefly met- but Kyrstal left more of an impact on the mann than the mann did on Krystal.
“She’s right,” Shakó grinned, pulling his lips back horizontally and tight. “Even if I do happen to be the Beta of this pack, that doesn’t mean I can accept you with graceful paws into our pack. And with showing up here without Tratto’s Blessing, or even introducing yourself before asking to enter our home isn’t very impressing,” the ivory and silver varg said sternly. True, it wasn’t in Shakó’s nature to be so stern to newcomers, but now a days he had to be extra cautious about the strangers he meant. Lately Ge-Rad had become very venerable to outside attack, and Shakó wasn’t going to make a mistake like he had last time. No, he’s rather die than put his pack, his family on the line of fate.
The mann grunted again, throwing up his head and twitching his right ear, all while eyeing the young mann. “How do I know you aren’t just saying you’re lost, when you could very possibly be a spy?” The mann finished with a stern face, her brow wrinkled.
((Sorry it took so long and is so bad, school. ))

The autumn breeze shuffled swiftly, bringing a soft chill over the lands of Transylvania. With it brought the paint that changed the vivid color of green to the bright shades of fire. And soon it would all disappear, and the trees would show bare.
The leaves rustled, shaking hues of light yellow and brown and fro the shadows of it walked a Tanned canine. Her tan and light creamed coat camouflaging her with the foliage around her. All except her star speckled cyan eyes. Wolf she was and wolf she was not. Her muzzle delicate and almost fox like, and her paws smaller then that of a lupine. But what was most detectable was the curl of her tail, a loop that curled all the way to touch her rump.
The tan hybrid jogged on, her tail bouncing as she reached the eastern borders of Gerad. Her muzzle dropped, twitching as she tested the ground for smells. Someone would have already been here and checked the borders. Fly remembered when she used to be the first one to wake in the dawn and commit to the border patrol. Though now she had even larger responsibilities.
Nothing here she concluded before continuing on her trip. Her paw pads landing lightly and controlling her weight as to not disturb the dried leaves under toe. But not far away came a crack. A twig perhaps? And not too long later Fly cocked her head to see a small group of herla cantering away through the forest of trees. Little did she know that the herla had been disturbed and sent fleeing by a guest. A varg that had meandered his way onto Gerad soil.
Firefly was curious, she knew that something had stirred the deer. Muscles bunched before she flung herself forward, heading toward the direction the deer had came.
Fly quickened her pace, her nostrils flaring as she caught the scents of wolves up ahead. The musk of rotting vegetation, last night's rain and the mixture of vargs had made it difficult to tell each scent apart. A few sniffs later and Fly knew what she would find beyond the thicket. She would find Krystal, her beta Shako and a varg unnamed.
The leaves crackled, welcoming the entrance of the tan hybrid. It was her way of making her presence known to her fellow vargs. Eyes looked and ears listened, so this unnamed varg seeked shelter in Gerad? Fly was just in time to hear Shako's speculations. "A spy?" the words were soft, a voice fit for the sleek and smaller hybrid. She grew suspicious, the run in Ge rad had not too long ago was still tattooed brightly in the hybrids mind. The deep scar on the wolf's leg proved it as well as her occasional limps. Fly glanced toward the intruder. "What's going on here?" Her voice played, her vocals not demanding but merely curious, questioning. Though cyan orbs were firmly pinned onto the white visitor.

I whimpered softly, "I'm sorry everyone. My name is Jasper. Or Jazz, you may call me any name. . . I don't really care." I dipped my head, so that my head remanded lower than the others around me, in the show of respect. "And I do wish to join Ge-Rad and call it my home. I have no home at all."
Then, I turned my attention to the ivory and grey varg, and barked as proud as I could be, "I am no spy. I am a Kerl right at the moment, and I wish to be with you. A Ge-Radian, like you all."
Then, I turned to face the one seeked to know that was a she-varg. I barked, using my reguler tone now, "Who are you? I never saw you before until now. My name is Jasper like I said before. . . ."
I wished to speak to her, like a Mann wolf. Is this She-wolf a higher rank or a lower one? I wish to know this question, at the moment. I shook my head, then bowed to everyone around me, I should just be save than sorry. But what if. . . .
(I'm very sorry for the shortness!)
