Basics
Full Name: Necho Andrzej
Age: 4mo.
Gender: Male
Species: Carpathian Wolf
Pack: none
Rank: Kerl
Appearance
Covered in a variety of black, gray, slate, silver and white - and maybe a touch of tan or sand here or there - Necho possesses an atypical coloration that, even so, doesn't seem to make him stand out more than other cubs. Instead, the features that make him unique are his eyes, which are the color of an arctic blue - very clear, almost white; these will likely dull a bit to a darker blue, but will always remain about the same color. He has a solid build that is still thickly layered with unshapely puppy fat, but his huge paws promise that he will grow into a considerably sized adult. His face is broad and rounded, and he has a strong muzzle and what could be considered a handsome expression.
Personality
Necho is insanely curious and inquisitive, and quite outgoing. He loves to ask questions, to wrestle and play, and to investigate everything around him. In addition, he has quite the overactive imagination, constantly playing one of the many heroes from stories in various imaginary settings when there's no one else to keep him company. When he does, Necho isn't shy. He speaks his mind on any topic or asks many questions, and almost always asks if they would join him in a game of 'dare' or 'hide-and-seek,' two of his favorite pastimes. When he's not playing, Necho enjoys exploring and wandering around wherever he can, getting into trouble more often than not. Plus, he is admittedly a little intrigued by humans' fire - a small fraction of the power of the sun, and all its glory, manifested on earth.
Biography
Necho and his brothers and sister were very young when the Andrzej pack was forced to flee their homes due to man's expansion into their territory. Lupei had gone first a moon before with a promise to send for his mate and children when he had discovered a suitable location to raise the family, but shortly after his departure the den was discovered by men and their dogs. Crina was aided by József in the removal of the youngsters, but she was killed in the ensuing chase as she led them away from her cubs and brother. Grief-stricken and heartbroken, József realized that he couldn't possibly take care of the litter himself and decided that bringing them to their father would be the wisest choice. So the little group began their march into unknown territory, on the hunt for Lupei Andrzej.
However, Necho was separated from his siblings and uncle the following night as he went on the search for his lost mother alone - he didn't know, and perhaps still doesn't that his mother had perished. With the arrival of sunrise, the small group set off without him, József unaware that Necho had disappeared. This wasn't the end of the world yet, though. Necho's other uncle was close in pursuit, having heard the sorrowful tale on the wind. He came upon Necho a day or so later. The scrawny cub was half-dead, and no bigger than a mouthful for a hungry dog. Yoska, who later tracked József but lost his trail in some bad weather, decided to take his young nephew and raise him until he was able to be reunited with his father.
Nadezhda and Necho's two older cousins took to his arrival with gusto, and in just a week's time the youth had regained much of his former health and spirits. He wasn't told much of the original tale for how he had come to live with his aunt and uncle, but when he discovered that his father was living nearby he decided that he would go visit his other family, to see if he could remember them, and if he could get the real story from them. So, on the eve of his four month milestone, he took off in the direction he had been told they lived, telling only Lenuta of his plans and making her promise not to tell anyone. Of course, being as young as he was, he sorely underestimated the distance that lay between him and his father, and soon became lost. Which is how he eventually wandered into Transylvania, the Land Beyond the Forest.
