A slight breeze ruffled the borders of a home she would always cherish. These lands were different from the ones where she used to roam. THe kerl lands. The images of snapping wolves came clear in her mind and she shook them off. She remembered when she were only a few moons. How she had been alone, left to fend for herself. She could remember the the hatred that burned in the wolves' eyes, and the fury that gurgled from the mouth of every dog she crossed path with. After she kept running from every jaw and snap she found herself here. In the heart of the land of vargs. Some here were kind hearted, some weren't as. But she remembered one dragga in particular. The journey they had gone through. The strange relationship that had run from ignorance to love. But that had been all she remembered. She had no remembrance of her past, of her puphood. Until a few moons ago. She remembered how every creature deemed and called her a mutt, a wolf dog. And she hated how she could not remember her past, who her parents were, save her mother. She was not sure either how she had lost her memory, perhaps the fear and runnign had caused her to forget.
But now she knew. Her dissapearence from Ge rad was caused by a mere accident. With the curling talk of war between another pack, the femme had wandered to try and secretly talk to her friend Gryffin. She never made it to the pack called List. She remembered when she ran into the hunting grounds of hounds and humans. THey were on a fresh fox run, and instead of taking home a fox they trapped the travelling femme. and instead of killing her like they did with vargs, or use her pelt like the fox they brought her to their village. One took her into their wooden dens. THe warmth of fire and scent of human food brought memories flooding back to her. In her wooden den there were other dogs too. Some were wary of her cept one opened her with open arms and a warm heart. Her name was Kimmy and she had told her mony stories and many times the femme wondered why the pet was willing to share so many things She finally knew, Kimmy had remembered her as a puppy and had knew her mother Takara. The dog offered her kindness and her history with the hybrid's mother and told her as much as she could remember. She told her how she remembered her mother mingle with a wolf. She had tried to warn her but months later a little of wolf dogs were born.
"I remember you were Takara's most precious jewel. Your brothers, they disowned their mother, and they left. But they were fools. And so were killed..... by the strays of the town. They thought they had been top dogs, thats why I stay pet, no rough housestreet business. Your mother was killed by the hands and cruelty of man."
"B-b-by these men?" the wolf dog whimpered looking around the wooden den. "No no, those were back in the city, my family moved. I never thought I'd see anything to do with Takara again, but I'm guessing she's still watching over you. I'm almost sure she brought you here" Kimmy spoke softly.
So in return Firefly shared her life with wolves and what happened after she abondoned the city and how she lost her memory of her past. What seemed like days turned into months. The she wolf was beginning to tame. Her neck jingled with dog tags and itched with a leather collar and was even given the name Mikka by the humans of the den. She got used to the soft comforts and well fed meals. The cold autumn winds were blocked far away by the walls of the wooden den. Life was well with Kimmy to gossip with and the soft pets from the humans. But something made her remember why she gave up this wretched life that she promised her mother she would never return. The dogs in her wooden den would still give her a cold shoulder. Till the day when she saw her house mates taunting a ball of fluff. It was a wolf cub. The wolf dog snarled coming in to protect the helpless scrap. But she found it dead. She had turned accusing them of the death. But it was not them it was the humans. Mikka had found something she hardly felt. Fury. In blind rage she attacked the well fed dogs. Mikka had cast deep injuries, and was ready to fight to the death when the owner came to stop the dogs. In anger the human had swiped a hand across Mikka's muzzle and booted her with a harsh kick. Mikka didnt understand the human all she felt was pain and hate. That night Mikka was left outside, tied to a pole. The next night she was given the same treatment. No longer could she feel the warm fire, and the gossip she shared with Kimmy. and even the hearty meals were rationed. The joys of a pet were gone and Mikka found herself trying to escape every night. But it was hopeless. Soon she gave up all efforts and settled down with defeat. Only then did she realize how much her pack had meant. She remembered when she explained to Kimmy about her pack, and how kimmy replied, saying that the humans and pet-mates were part of her pack. It was different. This pack did not give their life to protect others, work hard to feed each other and curl up beside eachother to keep eachother warm. She would never understand. Soon a moon passed, snow covered the ground and Mikka found herself shivering in the winter light, destined to be tied and live the life of a dog on a leash forever.
"You look miserable" came the voice of Kimmy. Kimmy had angerd the humans and she too was tied outside. It was the first time in months that Mikka had the company of Kimmy. Mikka only shrugged at he comment. Kimmy had padded over to Mikka. Her jaws openned in a massive growl and lunged for her neck. Mikka snarled but Kimmy's jaws clamped down onto her collar. Giving a great shake she tore the strap of leather up and over her head. Mikka shook feeling the expirience of a collarless neck once again. "Thanks..." "Go Mikka, your mother would want nothing more" "But how about you?" "I'm a dog, im born for this life. Your not. Get going now mutt before i make you" Mikka shook out her fur giving her friend a gratefu look "thank you for, helping me remember my past and for everything else"
Mikka turned her back to the wooden den and heading towards the forest when the voice of Kimmy called after her. "Wait, theres one more thing i need to remind you about." Mikka looked over her shoulder with a blink as Kimmy gave her head a dip "Good bye and may we meet again one day..Firefly"
Firefly blinked, her eyes opening to find herself starring at the home of Ge rad. Her tail culed over her back, and dog like muzzle upturn to the wind she sent her high pitched song into the air.
(hmm i got a little carried away)

It had blown in with the breeze atop the crisp, cool air of winter, catching his attention almost immediately and spurring him forth. That scent. That delicious scent. It filled his nose, overloading his senses until his head began to swim. Faint as it was even at this distance it was overwhelming, intoxicating. At first he was reluctant to believe it, so long had it been since he had last taken in that wonderful scent. But then came the song, it called out to him, beckoning him forth like a mistress to her lover. Ironic but nonetheless a summon he was more then willing to answer. Tail swishing behind him like an autumn leaf in the breeze Draeg parted his muzzle in an awesome howl, head rising with each booming note sent forth into the eternal blue. Concluding his song he was off almost immediately, his duties forgotten as he raced across the open fields, tongue lolling out from his mouth and snow crunching beneath his paws.
His heart was racing, how long had it been?
Two moons?
Six?
He couldn’t remember, he had lost track. Despite that he remembered her, no amount of time, not even the gods themselves, could ever wipe her memory from his mind. Countless questions raced through his mind, where had she been? Why had she left, for that matter why hadn’t she told him? Had something happened to her? Was she hurt? Most importantly, was she alright. His fears only fueled his desire to see her, spurring him faster and dogging his every step.
When he finally saw her she was alone, hovering along the borders that divided Ge-Rad from the Kerl dominated lands of the no-mann’s land. Slowing his pace and coming to a stop he stood there, merely a few feet in front of her, golden eyes bright with emotion as they gaze upon her tan form, eventually settling upon her beautiful visage. She was still as beautiful as the day he laid eyes on her, perhaps even more so. So much so that Draeg couldn’t help but take a moment to admire her elegant form. She was his mate, mother of his second litter as well as his closest companion with the possible exception of his alternate mate and eldest son. One of the great loves of his life.
Born neither varg nor dog but rather both, the end result of what most called an unnatural union between two completely different worlds. A hybrid, an abomination to some yet so much more to him. She was his and he hers, even the sound of her name stirred untold feelings of passion from deep within him. “Firefly.”

The howl of Firefly faltered and soon it faded away into nothingness. The tanned hybrid blinked, her tail curling over her back. She stood not sure what to do next. What if the pack didnt recognize her? Or what if they no longer wanted her here? Would they chase her away? Let her leave safely? or possibly kill her? Because she was hybrid? Firefly gave a soft whine. But no their beta Lydair was hybrid too. The thought eased Firefly's worries.
Tet she couldn't help but hover around the border, her muzzle sniffing about, the scent of her mate was still strong, and her fluffy tail gave a excited wag. Though the scent of Cwen was more faint. The wolf dog perked up looking about as if she were expecting the force of Cwens tooth and cclaw to jump out at her through the shrubery. Firefly's ears twitched, the one ear that stood perfectly errect and the other that tilted at the very tip gave a shudder. The memories of wolf jaws were still vivid in her mind though long ago in the past, they stayed like a scar that tattoed a body.
Firefly looked over her shoulder, perhaps this wasnt such a good idea. Maybeshe should leave before they came, she would be fine being a kerl. But she didnt wantto leave. Her heart ached to see her mate once again and to be part of somthing..what was it? Family. Then why did she wantto leave. Perhaps it was the fear of unnacceptance that gutted her so fiercly.
Then she heard it the unmastakable sound of beating paws upon theterra. Firefly stood still, her muscles tensing. She scented the air, listening for any sort of agrression, butthere was none to come. Then there it was, her answer. It rung clearly and so sweet. A howl that could have come from no other. Fly gave a softyip, her paws pacing forward as she looked, her cyan eyes spotting out for the red form that she so desperatly wanted to see. Firefly turned seeing a red from the corner of her eye. The tan form of the hybrid stopped pacing her cyan orbs flickered with a bright glisten as they lit up. Firefly lookedd up, her optics locking in with those of the dragga. She didn't knowwhat to say first as he lulled her name. The tan fae blinked slowly, tryign to find the right words to say but could not summon up what shewanted to tell him first. Where she had been? how was gerad? what happened during her absence. Everything around her seemed to stop, to accomondate and watch the pair, yet everything in her mind swirled, hardly able to catch up with each thought. Firefly smiled, stepping a step towards the male, she didnt need words. "Draeg" the femme whispered before burrying her muzzle into the the soft neck fur of the ruby dragga

(OOC: No one has mentioned yet if its day or night in this thread, so I’m just going too assume its night. If I’m wrong just let me know and I’ll edit my post.)
Winter had hit its climax in the land of Ge-Rad. Clouds covered several portions of the sky as they were swiftly carried along by the coming cool breeze. It seemed that on this night, Tor would allow the Varg’s of Ge-Rad an easy evening and twilight. The terra of Ge-Rad was silent to Krystal’s midnight auds as she quietly made her way along the ivory powdered lands. Only a few suns had passed since her acceptance into Draeg’s pack had been established. And on this night, Krystal would take the opportunity to learn more about her new home. While everyone slept under Tor’s watchful gaze, the night warrior was up and about. Her ebony paws traced a path around Ge-Rad’s borders. Pinto orbs focused and alert too the Fae’s surroundings, as Krystal took it upon herself too watch over her new home while Tor ruled over her domain in the heavens.
The night would no longer be still however, as the cry of a wolf skipped along the skies above and flung its way into the depths of Ge-Rad. Krystal’s auds perked up too catch the song of the stranger. Her own gaze darting in the direction of where the cry could of most likely originated. From the make of the echoing song, it was almost as if this stranger was calling out too someone from within the boarders of Ge-Rad. Krystal’s suspicions were confirmed as another howl rang out just moments later, this time coming from somewhere within the Ge-Rad lands. Only this time, the ebony and ivory Fae recognized the serenade of Draeg’s strong voice. The question in Krystals’ mind, would he decide to meet with this stranger? “Better go see what’s going on, just in case.” Krystal concluded.
That being decided, Krystal sprinted in the direction of the first howl. Her ebony paws moved swiftly over the freshly fallen snow. Though as she neared the borders of Ge-Rad, she would slow her pace too a walk. Making sure to watch for any thing out of the ordinary, Krystal cleared through the remaining underbrush to emerge in the outskirts of Draeg’s lands. Her sapphire and emerald orbs caught the form of a Fae some distance away. Her gray pelt was clearly visible in the twilight hours of the night. For the moment, she seemed to have been unaccompanied, and the Ge-Rad warrior pondered as too the extent of her visit. Only moments later, the form of an amber Varg would make its way into the outskirts of the terra. Now that Draeg was visible, Krystal decided too give the Dragga some company, in case this stranger might be hostile. But after only taking a few steps towards the two Vargs, Firefly suddenly dashed towards the amber Dragga.
At first, Krystal thought that Firefly had launched an attack on the Ge-Rad dragga, for what other reason could there be for a Varg too rush in on another like that. It certainly looked that way too the ebony and ivory Fae at first glance. But quite the opposite, for the stranger displayed too the Dragga affection rather then anger. Too this Krystal halted her advancement. Tilting her head a bit, the Ge-Rad Fae watched as two Vargs exchanged signs of love with one another. During her few suns in Ge-Rad, Krystal had yet too see the Drappa of Draeg’s family. Could this gray female be that Drappa? On this occasion however, curiosity would take a back seat to respect, for the two Vargs were sharing a tender moment with one another. “I should leave them alone…” Krystal thought, and the Fae soon turned back toward the direction of the Ge-Rad lands.

Firefly took in the mighty scents of her forest home, everything about it was wonderful to the shy hybrid. The pine aroma spelt Ge-rad and she was sure now that this was where she meant to be. Her journey with Kimmy had made her realize.
But in her absense it seemed as if Ge-Rad had grew in size, and she guessed that many a litters must have been born. Her tail that stayed curled gave a wag. "It's great to be back" she smiled before she heard another presence.
Cyan orbs searched for the sound and found a uniquely marked she wolf. Firefly momentarily stepped away from Draeg, her foxlike muzzle parted as her tongue hung out. The tan wolf-dog as she watched the she wolf whose expression grew with curiosity. Fly watched as she decided to leave and with a bark Fly spoke, "Hey there don't leave" Fly spoke. She didnt really know what else to say. She suspected that this was a new member to the pack.

For a brief moment time stopped, everything grinding to a halt as the two lovers looked upon one another. There were so many question Draeg wanted to ask, so many things that had been left unsaid between them. Upon learning of Firefly’s disappearance the amber varg had nearly run rampant searching all of Ge-Rad for his mate, worried that something might have befallen the tan femme in their own home but not sure enough to leave the pack to search for her. When Draeg had finally discovered the wolf hybrid’s scent he had been surprised to find it heading east, towards the rolling expanse of the carpathia. Thinking that Firefly had set out to visit Gryffin, the resident beta of List as well as the tan hybrid’s closest friend, Draeg had called off the search for his missing mate. However as the days turned into weeks Draeg found himself beginning to worry about the prolonged absence of his mate, unsure whether something had happened to her or if her return had simply been detained by the weather. The amber varg had toyed with the idea that in the latter case Firefly might have simply chosen to remain in List until the weather became more manageable in spring, but without Cal to act as emissary between the two packs and Cwen so close to giving birth he had been unable to find out for himself.
Firefly’s eyes flashed and time resumed, all at once both varg coming to meet each other before locking themselves in a warm, tender embrace. Pulling his ears flat against his scalp Draeg whined, gently pressing his nose to the tan femme’s and brushing his muzzle against hers lovingly as she buried her delicate maw deep into the soft, voluminous folds of his neck. “I’ve missed you so much.” he murmured softly, practically purring as he tenderly licked her brow. Reluctantly pulling away from Firefly’s loving embrace Draeg met her gaze, her cyan orbs glittering brightly like a sea of stars amidst a pool of shimmering radiance. “Where were you?”
A moment later his ears twitched as the sounds of someone padding away from the pair caught his attention. Evidently Firefly must have heard it too since the tan hybrid stepped forward to investigate, calling out into the frozen woodlands that surrounded them. Catching a glimpse of black on white Draeg immediately recognized the midnight form of Krystal Zanguzen, Ge-Rad’s latest addition to it’s seemingly ever growing family. A little put off that his reunion with Firefly had been interrupted but at the same time seeing a perfect opportunity for both femme to become acquainted with one another the amber varg let out a series of quick barks, calling out to the moonlight warrior and asking her to join him in welcoming his mate home.
((crap, I'm bhind aren't I. Sorry for the wait))

Hopefully she could get away. Hopefully they wouldn’t notice the twilight fae. Everything had clicked into place. Surely this tan fae that stood next to Draeg was the Dragga’s mate, and Krystal suddenly felt like the third unwanted wheel in a perfect pair. The night was perfect for the two, yet here she stood like a pimple placed squarely on the face of a handsome figure. Though having only spent a few suns in Ge-Rad, it was becoming incredibly difficult to get used to pack life. So far the bi-colored femora felt out of place in the few events that had taken hold in Ge-Rad during her stay. Even in the terra that she now called home with a pack she now called family, there had been no place where the bi-colored warrior could comfortably say she felt like she belonged. Things had started out rocky for the former Zanguzen, and that sinking feeling that plagued her insides felt as though it slowed and weighed down the bi-hued warrior. But the forest was so close. So easily could Krystal sink back into the shadows, as if her presence never existed to encumber such a magical scene that was Draeg and Firefly’s reunion. But Krystal would never make it to the forest with out being detected by Firefly’s cyan optics. The bi-hued warrior had failed to disappear from Firefly’s gaze and now her worst fears were realized, as the tender moment between the two mates had been interrupted.
She would call out to Krystal with several barks, causing the Ge-Radian to halt where she stood. Krystal’s mind played out the possible emotions and reactions that may have taken place within Draeg and Firefly’s forms. Would the amber Dragga be grumpy and angered by the unintended disruption of his moment with the tan femora? Would he be enraged enough to exile the bi-colored fae from Ge-Rad and look upon her form with golden orbs of distaste? It certainly seemed very possible, as Draeg’s own barks soon followed, beckoning the twilight warrior much like Firefly had. But Krystal remembered that such actions were not Draeg’s style. He might be irked, but he wouldn’t banish the femora right? Regardless, Krystal turned from the forest and slowly made her way toward the two love birds, regretting the whole way the curiosity that had brought the bi-hued fae to follow her amber Dragga in the first place. Soon she stood close enough to the couple that her voice would now be heard with no problem, and she bowed her ebon head to the two Varg’s. Her midnight maw nearly touching the ivory snows in the process. “I’m sorry if I disturbed you two. If you like I can leave, I was just making sure all was well.” With that said, Krystal raised her head again, and waited for the two Ge-Radian’s to speak.

Firefly nuzzled the amber dragga, her curled tail giving a wag as her foxlike muzzle lifted to give the Dragga a tender lick. Her cyan orbs searched the longing look on her mates face, she could see soo many emotions running through. Giving a smile she slowly parted her maw, "I've missed you too" Firefly then gave a grin "Remember what I told you in the meadow. I'll always be back for you". Fly smiled, then dipped her head to retrace her memory to how it all began.
"Well, its a long story really. Humans took me in when i had been scouting. They brought me to their village and locked me up in their wooden dens as a what they call 'pet'... its sort of like a hound to them. I then met this femme who said she was my mother's friend and she finally told me my life before. I finally know now Draeg!" she said happily. Though she hated the blood of dog that ran in her veins but hated the fact that she did not remember her mother and childhood more. "The humans then tied me up outside, and it was even harsher than late winter famine" she whispered. "Though my mother's friend was able to slip out and free me, and here I am" she told simply, her story cut short as she couldn't remember each bit. "Though i know for sure that after this ordeal that there is no place like home" she said with a gentle smile.
The sound of Krystal caught her eye. and so Fly padded closer, "I'm Firefly, you must be new to this pack then for I don't seem to remember you" she said. She could have mistakened this fae for Ayasha, but Fly only guessed. The bi hued femme must be wondering why this random femme was with her Dragga. Unless she had not seen Cwen at all, though of course Fly did not know of the fall of their drappa yet. But the tan hybrid had returned...
((im sorry for the delay, and the not so good result))

Her fox-like muzzle brushing tenderly against his own Draeg let out a soft whine as he felt Firefly nuzzle him, reveling in the feeling of the tan femme’s kiss and taking comfort in fact that she was once again by his side. She seemed well enough, for which he was eternally grateful, despite her prolonged absence. Clearly wherever his mate had been the past several moons she had been fairing better then the rest of Ge-Rad, appearing healthy and well fed despite the shortage of prey available so late into the winter months. She smiled and Draeg felt his heart melt, whining softly as he padded next to her and seated himself beside the wolf hybrid. “And I’ll always be right here waiting for you.” he murmured, tail flickering happily behind him as he licked her chin submissively. Giving her one last look over Draeg eventually found himself returning Firefly’s sparkling gaze once more, the glittering cyan orbs shimmering brightly in the pale moonlight. Her eyes gleamed with a newfound happiness as she jubilantly told the amber varg of her capture and eventual escape from the hands of man, revealing how she had been placed in captivity like a common hound before being freed and learning more about her past.
Pinning his ears and whimpering softly Draeg hung his head, to ashamed of himself to even look at his mate. What kind of a mate was he? Once again Draeg had neglected to keep his promise and uphold his responsibilities to tan femme and because of it he had nearly lost Firefly forever, she had been in danger and Draeg hadn’t even thought to look for her. Firefly had really needed him and he had been nowhere to be found, she didn’t deserve what had happened to her. How could she even stand to look at him? Burying his muzzle into the soft fold of Firefly’s neck and letting out a strangled whimper Draeg held her close, whimpering softly. “I’m sorry, I though you were with Gryffin.” he whined. “I should have went to make sure instead of assuming you were at List. I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”
He managed to compose himself by the time Krystal arrived, greeting the midnight femme in the same business-like manner he had grown more and more accustomed to since Cwen’s untimely death. “You’re fine Krystal, I would’ve had to introduce you two sooner or later anyway. This is Firefly, my mate as well as your new Drappa.” he growled softly, his heart wrenching at having to acknowledge that Cwen wasn’t coming back. Turning back to Firefly. “This is Krystal, our newest warrior. She’s an old friend of mine from when I was still living with Huts and Koan. She joined up with us recently.”
((sorry for the delay))

Cyan orvs twinkled as she watched the amber dragga from her spectacles. A new found wag controled her curled tail as she nuzzled the what seemed like a worned out mann. Running her tongue over his muzzle she let out a comforting whine. She gave a gentle smile "It's okay, im back now" she gave a reassuring look. It was that with Fly. She was not one to complain nor was she one to complain. Her heart worn from hatred and misunderstanding had molded into one of a gentle and shy nature, one that had a gentle demeanor and one that never held a grudge.
The tan hybrid gave a shake as her optics turned once again to find the view of Krystal. It would feel more like a rejoining the ge rad pack. It was as if she were a foreign varg. Perhaps Fly was just a little nervous, nonetheless she stood unknown of how she should act. As a guest? A member? Was she still a member?
Firefly gave a welcoming smile to the bi hued femme. But with Draeg's next wordss Firefly felt more out of place then ever, though surprised at the most. The tann hybrid blinked her jaws open yet words ould not be found. At Draegs motions it seemed as if Cwen was no longer present. And to think of it her scent had been much fainter than before, so faint that Firefly didn't realize until this subject had been brought up. Where had the twisted drappa gone? True Fly and her had never gotten onto the right paw. And with the sarnes and balkar nipping at Cwens heels and litters Firefly often spent time on her own. But drappa? No Firefly could not be drappa. Never in her right mind would she thought herself a leader, specially not a wolf pack. The hybrid gave a slow whine, her eyes confused and glazed with shock "Draeg what? Drappa? What in Tor are you talking about?" she gulped in fear as she held her breath

A soft whine escaping his muzzle as Firefly nudged him lovingly with her delicate muzzle, the amber dragga felt his tail begin to sway behind him for the first time in many moons. He’d longed to feel her soft fur pressed firmly against his for so long now and made it known by returning the gesture wholeheartedly, licking her muzzle and pressing his nose to hers affectionately. Her blue eyes shone with a brilliant radiance, looking upon him lovingly as she gave him a reassuring lick. It always amazed Draeg how despite everything he put her through Firefly never bore any ill feelings towards him, the tan hybrid had always stood by him no matter what the personal cost. The amber varg couldn’t help kicking himself each time he thought of how he had neglected her for Cwen and the pack, recalling how she had never held a grudge against him for doing so and stuck by him through everything. She could have left him at any time, and yet instead she had stayed and chosen to remain with him.
Realizing this Draeg felt his love for the tan femme soar to new heights, knowing that she would never forsake him. Their love had endured the test of time, growing stronger with each passing trial. She was one of the few thing he had left and Draeg intended to covet her like a precious jewel. It was evident from the stunned expression on Firefly’s face that Draeg’ last statement had caught her off guard, the tan femme regarding him with a confused expression as though under the impression she had misinterpreted him. Pained expression crossing his features he looked away, tailing falling limply between his legs as the once proud amber dragga fell into a momentary relapse. Taking a deep breath he sighed, casting a hesitant glance towards Krystal before eventually returning his gaze over to his mate. “Firefly, Cwen’s…Cwen’s dead.” he choked, voice cracking. Regaining his composure he continued. “She was killed a while back. Since then Ge-Rad has been without a Drappa for some while now, you have always been next in line to be Drappa after Cwen. Now that she’s gone the position, the title, falls on to you. That is, if you want it.”

The calm face that had lined the tanned hybrids muzzle faded quickly away with the talk of a new drappa and the mix anticipated it. Thought about it but was afraid to hear the truth. The truth that their previous drappa was gone.
Firefly's cyan orbs opened wide with shock and disbelief. The twisted drappa dead? Her first thought was linked with that of the Sarnes. Could they have doen this to her as everyone knew what bounty that came with her head.
Firefly nuzzle Draeg, a soft loving whine escaping her muzzle as she bured her snout into the amber male's neck in gentle condolence. The thought of being never occured nor even once striked the thoughts of the gentle hybrid. Though Firefly nodded, hesitant at first. "I don't want to dissappoint you Draeg, but i must admit I am no Drappa. But in the name of Ge rad I will be of temporary assistance until we can find a more suitable leader" Firefly spoke. She was still skeptical about her abilities to lead. Besides she had begun to escape her low self confidence, she was not ready. But her heart was what she used to guuide her and her heart was with Ge rad, and what would be best for them

Her muzzle currying into the soft folds of his neck Draeg whined, accepting the tan hybrid’s act of condolence and embracing her tightly. Knowing that that tan femme had never gotten along with the Twisted Drappa of Ge-Rad Draeg hadn’t been sure how Firefly would take the news of Cwen’s death, however having seen her reaction to the news it was clear that the wolf-hybrid was more shocked by the startling revelation than anything. What’s more Draeg noticed that Firefly seemed hesitant about accepting the mantle of Drappa, shying away from the title and offering to act as temporary Drappa until someone more suitable could be found to take Cwen’s place. Pressing his nose to hers in an affectionate kiss Draeg nuzzled her, tongue snaking out to lick her muzzle as he did his best to allay her fears. “You could never disappoint me, Ketama.” he chided gently, meeting her cyan gaze. “I think you would make a great Drappa and I’m sure the rest of Ge-Rad would agree. I can’t think of anyone else more suited for the job then you.”

Firefly looked up, her cyan orbs catching the warm tones of amber. Her lips curved into a warm smile as she licked the male's nose once again. She knew how much the death of Cwen would hurt the amber wolf, and though it was hard the tanned hybrid would find a way to put aside and forget her jealousy like all the other times and be with her mate during hard times, and hope he would mend. But the news of Cwens death would also title her the drappa. And this Firefly was not as sure. As a 'mutt' as she was called before, she was never too sure about her self. Her confidence level was never too high, though after sheh ad met draeg it had mended well and the tanned hybrid foundi t much easier now to live.
Her head was noticibly higher and her stance was elegant and flamboyant, unlike the days where she slinked around, looking around every corner and stuttering with every breath. Fly looked up as Draeg spoke and she let out a small chuckle. The amber dragga was always able to raise the hybrids confidence and provide the spark that enabled her to reach for her goal. "I will try my best, my Dragga." She smiled

Amber orbs meeting cyan jewels Draeg gazed lovingly into the tan hybrid’s eyes, warm smile tracing his battered features as he watched his mate raise her head confidently. He knew that Firefly would make a good drappa once she overcame her initial shyness, however Draeg was sure that with a little time the tan femme would make as excellent a drappa as she was a mate. Of course that was provided Firefly believed in herself as much as Draeg did, still he had the utmost faith in her. Thinking back to the days in which they had first met it wasn’t hard for him to see that she would be a compassionate drappa, recalling how she had stood by him after his near death experience in rushing waters of the river despite his initial hostility towards her. The pack accepted both her and their children despite their mixed heritage, and while a little friction had existed between the tan hybrid and both Cwen and Shayla Draeg was fairly certain that the rest of Ge-Rad would have no problems accepting Firefly as Cwen’s successor.
Auds twitching to the pleasant sounds of her laughter Draeg wag his tail as he watch the tan hybrid adopt a more elegant stance, nuzzling her tenderly and currying his muzzle into her neck lovingly. He knew she had come a long way from the nervous fae he had stumbled upon years ago and he beamed with pride at the fact that she had accomplished so much in such a small span of time. Light chuckle escaping his lips he look down at his mate, tongue caressing her cheek lovingly. “I know you will Ketama.” he murred softly. “I love you.”
