Draeg couldn’t help but laugh at Lydair’s little joke, knowing full well that what she said was probably true. Cal was a good emissary but he was an even better friend and mate, the amber Dragga knew he would make a good father when the time came. However at the moment the brown varg was more worried about how to tend to his mate during the course of her term rather than concentrating on the actual birth, which in Draeg’s opinion was far more important since Cal had all of Ge-Rad at his disposal to help him tend to Uskiya until then. But Draeg understood his friends apprehension having gone through it twice before, the first being the few hours before Cwen went into labor and the second being the several weeks Draeg spent with Firefly before hers. “That’s good to hear, though I’ll admit that I almost hope he does pass out. I would love to be able to hold that over him for a while.” He laughed. Draeg was glad to see that Lydair seemed to be getting along with Firefly though he couldn’t help but wonder why she so calm about the tan femme’s presence, especially since the amber Dragga had figured she would freak at learning that he had more than one mate. Perhaps Cwen had told her, or maybe Cal? Draeg pinned his ears and gave out a low growl at the thought of Cal shooting his mouth off, recalling that his emissary had a bad habit of getting not only himself into trouble but Draeg as well. He never suspected that Koan had told anyone of his affair with the wolf hybrid and his second litter. However as annoyed as he was Draeg decided that he would let the matter slide, Cal didn’t need him coming down on him in Uskiya’s present condition and since Lydair hadn’t decided to snap at him for whatever reason, be it for respect or indifference, there was no real reason for him to punish the emissary. He couldn’t help but smile warmly as he notice the look of wonder Firefly cast his way, clearly shocked at learning that she was not the only wolf of mixed heritage in Transylvania. It pleased the amber varg to see his mate find someone she could relate to in the pack so quickly and he knew that she would be able to thrive provided Cwen allowed her to stay, Draeg knew that would be a task in itself and there was a good chance that the silver Drappa would be more then a little upset with him but the amber Dragga planned on consulting his mate.
At the sound of Cwen’s voice Draeg’s eyes widened with fear and his entire body went ridged, gulping visibly he tore his gaze away from Firefly and reluctantly toward Cwen though it seemed as though he was straining to do so. Upon seeing the silver-furred Drappa and mother of his first litter he uttered a quick curse in his native tongue and lowered himself to the ground submissively, the amber varg hadn’t been expecting his mate to show up so soon and he chided himself for not finding a more secure location for him and Firefly to talk. He had been hoping to talk to Cwen in private about allowing Firefly into the pack, getting her used to the idea at first and reassuring her that she would have nothing to fear from the tan femme. However it seemed that once again his plans had blown up in his face and now he faced an opponent more dangerous than any he had ever faced before, a very angry mate. He rose to his feet with a nervous chuckle and slowly padded over to his mate, unconsciously placing himself between both Firefly and his pups as he approached Cwen. Draeg couldn’t help but wince as he listened to Cwen’s sarcastic remark, realizing that she had been listening, watching him, the entire time. Draeg tried to speak however he found that he could not find his voice, his words kept coming out as nothing more than ragged breaths of air and high-pitched squeaks.
Raising himself up to his full height and lifting his tail high in the air as a show of dominance though it was more for show than anything, once again Draeg found himself wishing that Firefly had left Zenith and Raikan back at Deor so that they wouldn’t have to see their him groveling for permission from their aunt. He was about to speak but Firefly beat him to it, whirling around Draeg watched the tan hybrid with a look of horror as Firefly boldly stepped forward and spoke, introducing herself along with their pups. Knowing that Firefly had just made things more difficult Draeg uttered out another quick curse and signaled for his mate to stop with a flick of his tail, hoping beyond hope that she would grow silent and tend to their pups while he tried to converse with Cwen. However he knew that it was Firefly’s litter that had promoted her unusual behavior, the fear that Cwen might try to harm either Zenith or Raikan outweighed the fear of what Cwen might do to her and whether she would be rejected from Ge-Rad or not. Whereas at any other time this would be considered commendable behavior Draeg knew that Cwen would not see it the same way as most other varg at the moment merely because of her rivalry with the tan femme, not only had Firefly disrespected and challenged the silver-furred Drappa but she had done it in front of what could be one of her future packmates. Knowing full well the consequences to such actions the amber Dragga jumped between the pair with a frightened yip, he cast Firefly a warning look he that said that he was more worried for her safety rather than angered by her actions despite the fact that he had to show it. “Firefly, tend to Zenith and Raikan!” he barked tersely, a silent apology shining in his eyes as he motioned for her to be silent before turning his attention back over to Cwen and whispering. “I was going to come straight to you before anything and ask for your permission first, honest! Firefly’s just afraid you might try to harm our pups, you’ve acted the same way on several occasions. Please let them stay, at the very least for my sake. I can’t just turn them away after they traveled all this way.”

The cobalt-and-white femme grinned to Firefly, her azure orbs glimmering. "This pack will love you, I'm sure. And of course, your cubs...Zenith and Raikan? Those are wonderful names." She crouched down witha friendly smile to the brothers and a bark of a greeting, stretching her pearly muzzle outwards and scenting them. As Draeg spoke one bright, cyan orb rolled up to look at him and she laughed, now sitting up and crossing her lithe paws, an awkward position for a wolf, and coked her head, cub-like ears flicking forward than back as the Healer kept third watch on the two young Vargs and also keeping upwith the paced coversation. 'I'm sure Cal wouldn't apprecaiate that.' She teased with another gentle laugh. "But then, he'd have to keep opening his mouth to keep the cubs under control and have to swallow nasty herbs, so I doubt he could retort to any..." She searched for the proper words, tail flicking. "Teasings you delivered to him.' The brown male was one of her close friends, and is mate was her definate closest fae-wise, considering the only other faes she had met until Firefly had been only Cwen and Yelae, and while she held respect for her silver drappa she felt no severe bond short of loyalty and Yelae brought nothing but bitter thoughts to her mind, although they ahd tremendously recded with the appearance and friendship of Koan.
As Draeg pinned his amber ears and growled softly the femme cocked her head, but Draeg gave a smile to Firefly and the healer shrugged. "Draeg, what is Firefly going to be doing in Ge-Rad, besides looking after your cubs?' Lydair barked; she always had to wonder if it was something she could relate to; she had friends in all fields except storyteller- Cal and Koan were scouts, although Cal was held as emmisary; Shako was a warrior; Uskiya was Nurse...she suddenly stopped- did Ge-Rad have no hunters? She cocked a brow suddenly but shook her head; she was sure the pack would hunt when they needed, as it was primal instinct to hunt for all putnar.
A look of astonishment, curiousity and a roiling scowl pulled at her maw as Draeg suddenly whined and rolled on the ground submissively, but Cwen's sneering tone made her hackles rise. She knew Firefly to be Draeg's second mate; she was glad Koan had told her or else her trust in the amber dragga would have plummeted, but as Cwen cooed to the cubs Lydair knew better and so she leapt towards Firefly, lowering her tail rbut aising her muzzle proudly and gazing at her drappa with bright cyan eyes. Suddenly Firefly stepped forward boldly and Lydair smiled wryly although fear flickered across her orbs; she would have done the same thing, had she been in Firefly's position. The knowledge that out of instinct or hatred Cwen might injure or kill Zenith and Raikan almsot brought a snarl to her lips, although she bit it back and instead picked the closest cub in her jaws by its shaggy scruff and pulled it towards her, stepping over the cub protectively and wishing she was close enough to grab the other...bending down, she noticed she stood over Zenith; Raikan wasn't too far off but she hoped Cwen wouldn't snap at her- she disliked drappa's that were easily angered and snapped at subordinates.
The Healer hoped that Draeg could bring his mate's temper down to naught but a smoldering flame; Lydair knew if she had to she would end up escorting Firefly out of Ge-Rad if Cwen happened to send her away, as draeg would probably be dealing with Cwen. Get Raikan, get Raikan! Her mind screamed, and out of impulse she darted forward, keeping her eyes on the ground in respect for Cwen and pulled Raikan towards her, scooting him beside his brother and hoping both would stay quiet.

Zenith grinned his tail wagging as he stepped out from behind his mother's leg. He looked up at his taller elders and cocked his head, his ear twitched as he was trying to work out on what the adults were talking about. With an agitated puppy bark Zenith rolled about on the floor. His father and mother were both fine with this new Fae, so why should Zen be afraid?
Zenith was the bold one, as he got up from the forest floor and made his way over to Lydair. He barked as he watched the steel-white Fae dipped her muzzle and nosed toward him. Zenith barked and let out a growl before raising himself onto his haunches and lifted himself up. His stance like a rabbit on the look out as he strained himself to stand higher. He then lost his balanced and fell tumbling onto his back. His worm like tail wiggling as he grinned.
But just then another voice had melted from the shadows and Zenith rolled onto his feet with a wonder. From the brush he could see a silver femme. Her pelt fluffy at the look as she padding toward them. Aunt Cwen? So she was their aunt? Zenith prospered at this knowledge and excitement grew at the wonder if they would soon have another to play with. But suddenly one look into the new Fae's eyes brought him hesitation. This Fae didn't want to play. Thought Zenith and he let out a whine. He looked up to his mother for answers and saw that she had stepped forward, into what he knew was a defensive stance. Zenith's ears bent as he skipped back to Raikan's side and behind his mother's legs. He didn't know what was going on, but he knew that there was suppose to be something to fear. Zenith whined and hid there. He could feel the tension growing as the fae cwen began to get closer. He then cocked his head and watched as his father dropped and began to roll on the ground. Zenith gave out a puzzled bark. Why was his father rolling around like a young whelp? Was he playing? Zenith thought, and he wanted to join in but the sudden growl of his mother told him that this was not just a daily pup game. Zenith cocked his head when suddenly something grabbed him by the scruff. His eyes widened as his legs began to kick and his jaws opened to let out a high pitched yelp before relaxing when he was dropped between two legs no of his mother. He looked up into another Fae, with eyes as blue as his mother. Zen whined, how confusing adults were. He panted though, from the fright Lydair had given him when she had grabbed him. Zenith whined, wanting to go back to his mother but somehow he knew that he could sought protection from this Fae. He whined to his mother though but shut his jaws up and stayed there obediently, his tail was hidden under his belly as he rubbed his muzzle against Lydair's legs, substituting it for Firefly's as he watched he barked to his brother Raikan,. Would Rai be joining him? Zenith was rather confused...

Firefly's cyan gaze watched Cwen's every movement. She was not challenging the drappa nor was she trying to override her domency. Yet her hackles rose in defense for her cubs and her paws were planted firmly on the Ge rad terra, her claws were lightly dug into the cold earth as she poised, Her tail curled into its dog like arc once more and her pointy ears flickered as her pink tongue subconsciously ran along her black lips.
She waited for Cwen's response, waiting, watching, waiting some more, but forever watching, for something to happen. wondering what it would be. Nothing would come between her and her pups, even if it meant living life as a kerl again. She watched the silver drappa's movement, watched as she eyed her two sons and Firefly felt her lip twitch. But before she could do anything she watched as Draeg stepped up in front of her. Firefly watched silently, and watched as he seemed to be begging for mercy at the hands of the drappa. Fly's ears twitched but suddenly Draeg had spun around and barked t her. Firefly was taken aback at first, her cyan orbs ablaze with amazement at the curt offend but eased as her cyan gaze met with the male's amber oculars. She let a low rumble pass and listened. Firefly might had been agitated, but she was intelligent enough to hold back her tongue.
She placed her foot back and then suddenly she heard a yelp from one of f her pups. Already alert and on her heels, Firefly swung her jaws around and she snarled, a menacing set of teeth, one that the hybrid never thought she had. She glared looking about to see Lydair with Zenith in her jaws. Firefly grew hot with anger. She had almost forgotten the Healer was here behind her. Her death glare bore into the hybrid and watched as she placed Zenith between her legs. Firefly licked her lips in thought and eased shaking out her coat as she watched Lydair sink her muzzle lower. Firefly stepped back, getting closer to her pups and to Lydair but her eyes, were pinned at Cwen as she watched the advancing femmora.

Cwen’s muzzle swung swiftly round to meet that of Firefly’s own snarling one and she let out a savage growl, her lips pulling back so tight from her gum that they turned nearly as white as her pelt itself. She could not have been more enraged by the fact that Draeg’s other half had came onto her lands and was showing such insolence to the Drappa of the pack she wished to join. Throwing out the knowledge that this was about protecting her two young cubs, Cwen knew she would never hurt them in any physical way, so she was basically giving herself reasons to hate the hybrid even more than she’d like to. Watching as Draeg simply rolled onto his back in a submissive way, the silvery faemme snorted and threw him the most merciless glance she could muster. But before he leapt between the two of them, Cwen’s eye caught the form of Lydair, her trusting nurse, leaping to Firefly’s aid and snapping the two defenceless cubs out of her Drappa’s reach. Fuming at the idea of her nurse acting in the disrespectful manner, Cwen’s blood began to boil to the point where she thought it would simply evaporate into crimson vapours.
A twisted grin evolved from her distorted snarl and she chuckled so coldly it felt as though her breath itself could simply freeze the air between them. “Oh and what precious names you both chose for the little runts,” she mocked as her sneer grew until the very appearance of it seemed shrouded by shadows and a hidden insanity. “And yes, you got my name right first time. You are a clever little crossbreed aren’t you?” she scoffed in reply, ignoring the fact that she too was insulting Lydair also as she stood protectively by the intruder’s side. Throwing now her cold eyes back onto the other hybrid, her sneer didn’t lessen and neither too did her temper diminish. But before she could give the incompetent female a word of warning, Draeg appeared suddenly between the two set of fae, giving first Firefly a sharp bark of warning and instruction before turning his pleading gaze round to Cwen. Curling her lips at her red and brown pelted mate, the silvery Drappa snarled menacingly before snapping at the air just before his muzzle. “Don’t think I’d be stupid enough to hurt the wretched little whelps! Your sons or not. Her sons or not. I am not a mindless cub killer like the old fabled tales of Morgra – even if she was wrongly accused of something she did not intend to happen. I couldn’t care what happened to them – but they would surely not suffer at the jaws of my own. It is more likely their mother that I’d enjoy tasting the blood of,” she growled deeply, her words barely audible over the coarse rumblings which sprouted from the pits of her stomach. “I care not if they stay in our lands Draeg, but I swear…if she steps one paw out of line or the pack become restless and disrespectful – then she is going to be put under my merciless jaws with the will to fight back – Draeg or no Draeg,” she finished with a firm not of her head and a flick of her erect tail.

Draeg looked as though he were about to burst with pride as he listen to Lydair praise his offspring, clearly pleased that the cobalt hybrid saw what he had always seen in his children and glad that she had taken to them both so quickly. At Lydair’s question Draeg couldn’t help but blink in surprise as he realized that he hadn’t thought about what Firefly’s job would be in pack, he had been so worried about just getting her into Ge-Rad that he had forgotten all about assigning her a job. He uttered a quick cursed beneath his breath as he quickly began running a list of every job that was still available in Ge-Rad, however despite his best efforts he couldn’t really think of anything that would suit the tan femme. Had Draeg discussed the matter with Firefly earlier he could have prepared a suitable position for her, knowing that she would have excelled as the pack’s nurse or emissary, but as it was both jobs were filled. Suddenly an idea sprung to mind, the role of emissary may have been filled but Ge-Rad was still in dire need of scout especially now that Koan had requested a transfer to become a warrior to help Shako defend the pack. Looking back at Firefly the amber Dragga realized that she would make a great scout, he just had to get the okay from Cwen and everything would be set. “Well, seeing how nimble she is I would say a scout would be the perfect choice.” He growled casually, as though he had it all planned from the start. “We need more scouts anyway seeing as Koan just transferred so it’s a good idea and it would make things easier on Yelae since she’s been patrolling everything within the pack’s boundaries. Besides, Firefly would be perfect for the job!” Upon seeing Zenith’s playful antics the amber varg burst out into fit of hysterical laughter, his laughter subsided after a moment and he batted a playful paw at his son in an attempt to bowl him over. “Alright Zen, that’s enough. I promise as soon as this is all done I’ll show you and your brother around and then we can play.”
The stand off between Cwen and Firefly seemed to be at a standstill with neither femme choosing to back down and submit to the other. The tan femme’s eyes never left that of her silver counterpart as she watched her every move, making no move to act out against the obviously stronger Drappa but at the same time obviously prepared to challenge Cwen if she decided to harm her pups. In turn Cwen seemed even more enraged by Firefly’s actions than she had been a moment before and let out a savage growl, baring her fangs threateningly at the tan femme. Draeg knew that he would win no sympathy from the silver femme as soon as she snorted and tossed him a merciless glance before turning her attention back toward Firefly and speaking, the amber varg couldn’t help but scowl at his mate as he listened to her mock his children.
From the corner of his eye Draeg caught sight of Lydair placing herself directly in front of Firefly, drawing forth a furious snarl from Cwen who had obviously been enraged by the cobalt hybrid’s decision to defend Firefly rather than side with her Drappa. He flashed Lydair a grateful look, relieved by the knowledge that someone was willing to defend Firefly and his children despite the consequences that would sure follow. Turning his attention back over to Cwen he let out a low growl as his anger beginning to show as Cwen continued her verbal assault, scoffing scornfully at Firefly’s heritage, not seeming to even acknowledge Lydair’s presence as though she weren’t even there. This in turn upset Draeg even more as he knew it was also directed toward his pups and he began lifting himself to his full height, the fear that had been present in his eyes a moment before apparently gone as he faced his mate, matching her glare evenly. He averted his gaze for a moment at the sound of Zenith yelping, but upon seeing that Lydair was merely taking the cub further out of harm’s way he signaled for Firefly to remain as she was and returned his attention over to Cwen.
He stood his ground as the silver-furred Drappa let out a vicious snarl and snapped at him, her jaws coming to a stop inches from his muzzle. At her accusation his eyes flared up with anger and he cast her a look of disbelief, yet still he did not move. “Then stop acting it!” he hissed suddenly, his tone was sharp like a razor but low enough that only she could here. “I can’t believe you, how dare you accuse me of thinking that after everything we’ve been through together! I know you would never dream of harming a defenseless cub, but they don’t and to be honest if I were them neither would I with the way you’re acting! And it doesn’t help that you insulted Firefly’s heritage especially when you know that our pack’s healer, who is standing right over there, shares the same ancestry! Need I really remind you of the repercussions your actions could lead to in the future? And don’t you ever call my children whelps again!” Draeg narrowed his eyes at Cwen’s final comment, emitting a low growl as he came forward until his nose was nearly touching Cwen’s. “The only one I have seen here that has been disrespectful today is you!” He gave a quick flick of his tail as if to emphasize the point before holding it high in the air in a show of dominance, although Draeg did respect his mate he felt that Cwen did not completely respect him despite everything they had been through together. The amber varg was her equal in the pack not a subordinate, and he intended to show her that he would not let himself be intimidated or allow her to threaten members of their pack regardless of who she was. However after a moment his features soften and he lowered his gaze by about a fraction of an inch, knowing that only she would be able to notice. “Thank you.” He growled softly, tapping her nose affectionately with his own. “For letting them stay.”

Soon, the tussle between the two stopped and Rai cocked his head to see another faemme padding closer towards the group. Curiousity pinning him to the ground as the fae approached their father and dipped her head in respect. There was something about this fae that gave him a nice feeling, it was comfortable to be around her. It seems like his mother and father was fine with her. The elders were now speaking about things that he didn't understand. He mind couldn't process what they were saying so he just gave a loud bark to show his puzzlement.
Grinning broadly as Rai thought that he found another varg to play with. He like his brother moved to Lydair moving slowly across the forest floor. The fae crouched down gave a bark of greeting and her pearly muzzle towards them. Rai watched as Zen raised him only to lose his balance and fall onto his back. Rushing forward and he got so close that he could touch Lydair with his tiny little paws, still yipping excitedly and tail waggling back and fourth as the thought of play entered his mind.
But his attention was quickly drawn to another voice that rung through the clearing. A silver faemme melted from the shadows and her pelt glimmering as she approached them introducing herself as aunt Cwen. So this was aunt Cwen? He heard his father telling him about aunt cwen many times and he couldn't picture a varg. But now he could and he stared in amazement as she towered over them. Watching as she came to their eye level and spoke to them. Rai was still grinning broadly and waggling his tail. But he heard a little whine and he turned to see Zen scurrying back behind his mother. Firefly also moved forward and Rai realized that there was something going on. He didn't know what, but as long as mummy and daddy were here it would be fine. Noticing the look from his mother he too whined and scurried behind his mother's legs with his brother. Suddenly his father whined and rolled on the ground. Now more puzzled than ever, Rai behind to give tiny little barks in wonderment. Was his father playing a game with this aunt cwen? Maybe he would let him join? Afterall, it looked fun. But after hearing the growl from his mother and the a look at Zen he reluctantly stayed put.
Suddenly, something large and bent down and in a flash saw his brother in the jaws of the fae called Lydair. Zen was squeaking and squealing in fright before dropped behind the legs of the strange fae. Staring in astonishment as it was his turn next. An almost identical squealing escaped the tiny pup's maw as he was scooted behind her legs like his brother. The two amber pups were just staring at each other now in curiousity wondering what's going on. This was one thing that made Rai think that he never wanted to be an adult. They were always so secretive and they would do things that are so confusing. Feeling the tension between their mother and this "aunt cwen" Rai decided to stay silent and waited for something to happen.
Now the adults were again talking about things that he didn't understand. Keeping close to Zen and nuzzling his muzzle onto this fae's leg substituing his mother's. Only knowing that the tone of voice from Cwen sounded like anger. Soon, their father approached the silver fae and began speaking in low voices so he could hear muttering. When Draeg finished Rai began barking loudly, hoping that this tension would break

Lydair’s paws clung to the grassed floor, lowering her head to further convince herself that Zenith and Raikan were not in danger. At Firefly’s warning snarl lydair merely swung her own pearly muzzle to look at the second hybrid and a soft, reassuring growl parted from her lips. As Zen nuzzled her leg, Lydair bent her head down and licked him gently on his small tan skull; her drappa’s mood far from frightened the Healer but she knew what enraged draggas and drappas could do to subordinates and cubs and so her maternal instincts had briefly clouded her sense, although she doubted she wouldn’t have pulled the cubs away anyway. As Firefly came closer to the cobalt hybrid Lydair raised her head and gazed at Cwen, her cyan gaze strong and proud. At Cwen’s words, however, Lydair fought with herself inwardly to keep from snarling; heritage had nothing to do with protecting cubs or admittance to a pack and Lydair’s orbs took on a fierce gleam; her own drappa had now resorted to taunts and the Healer’s hackles bristled on the back of her thickly furred neck. Her entire body tensed visibly and she prodded the earth with her black claws, bringing her ears against her head in a tight anger. The drappa began to further insult Firefly and Zen and Rai, and Lydair turned suddenly to Draeg, her face a stubborn mixture of astonishment, anger, and confusion. Was this normal for the silver drappa to act so rude? At Draeg’s grateful glance Lydair nodded gently but coked her graceful cranium; her rounded ears perked and her azure eyes darted from dragga to drappa.
Finally Draeg stepped forward; Lydair dropped in relief before looking down at Zenith and then glancing at Firefly. At her amber dragga’s show of dominance and anger Lydair again growled, barely audible but enough she thought most of the Varg could hear it. Gazing now at Cwen, the hybrid still felt a pang of disbelief; cwen would probably be the only one besides Koan that wouldn’t like Firefly- but the Healer had her doubts that the steel-hued warrior liked either fae.

((Wow…haven’t I made my grave and now have to lay in it? Bah my stupidity and RL anger has gotten the better of me >.< Ok – I won’t be as stupid as to come out with such jibber jabber next time))
As Draeg pulled himself up to his largest size and highest height, Cwen’s growling and snarling did not cease. She was merely encouraged by his own outburst of anger to beat his with her own malicious words and manner. It was pathetic really…for what was it all for? He had another mate and Cwen had known this for some time now. She did not mean to insult Firefly for her heritage, nor did she intend for it to affect Lydair or the cubs in any way. She didn’t want to disrespect Draeg, but the idea that she was merely sharing his heart whilst he had full priority over her own only made Cwen jealous and envious of the love Firefly also received from the ember male. Shaking her head heatedly, Cwen took that final step closer to Draeg and pulled her lips back so far into the livid snarl that she felt as though her gums would simply rip and allow her crimson blood to leak over her ivory canines and stain them forever red. “I am the Drappa of this pack Draeg, and you are the Dragga. Yes we are of the same status and I will not fight you, but I will stand up to you if I am not happy with something. You know I have never liked the idea of you sharing your love with another faemme, and if you’d kindly step back and keep out of things…then you might not get dragged into something that is clearly something to do with Firefly and not yourself. She can speak for herself can she not? I do not need you to tell me off Draeg when clearly it is she that needs to shout back,” her mysteriously devious voice broke through and only came out with barely distinguishable rumbles and growls. However, as Draeg’s orbs softened that little bit and his gaze lowered only for her to see, she stammered back from his gentle nose and flicked her ears as though seriously confused at what to make of his thank you. Though her cold stare never left his warmer gaze, Cwen growled deeply and grunted in an irritated fashion, allowed her lips to mask over her canines but twitch one last time before they were concealed again. “I may be a cold hearted bitch that wishes you’d never met that putnar and seen a love for her…but I’m not one to through a mother and two young cubs away just because of what she is,” she remarked coldly before flickering her gaze back onto the defensive Firefly and heated Lydair.
Giving them both another, clearly irritable growl, Cwen pulled her tail higher and allowed it to apparently droop forward, as though to show she was as high as she could match. Glaring at Firefly, her gaze then stooped to Lydair whose head now was close to the earth in a protective manner over the cubs and her gaze softened if only that little bit. “I did not mean to insult you Lydair. I hope there is someway for the healer of Ge-Rad to forgive her irritable Drappa,” she remarked with little enthusiasm. On their first encounter, Cwen had respected Lydair and had never even passed her heritage over twice in her mind. But only now that Firefly had arrived on the scene, Cwen’s bitterness had simply grown to lower levels she thought she could ever stoop to. Not even giving the three adults a second glance, Cwen peered down at the cowering cubs and threw them an almost undetectable smile before turning on her paws and began to bad away from the group, thinking silently to herself: what fine Dragga’s they will make one day…

<<oops I'm far behind in replies! sorry!>>
Firefly's hackles prickled, her cyan gaze still pined on the silvery drappa, her ears were erect as she watched Cwen's lips twisted and reveal words that hissed torrents of anger and dislike. At the words Cwen had spoke Firefly's eyes contracted into slits and a snarl emitted from her maw. Crossbreed? Firefly growled, and her ears flickered toward Lydair, Firefly did not turn to see the hurt expression in Lydair's eyes but Firefly was far from sad. She was angry. It was one thing to comment on the hybrid's parentage, after all Firefly had been well accustomed to the many snide remarks vargs had passed onto her over the years. But how dare the silver Fae make such a remark on her cubs? Fly growled, her ears flattened against her skull and the only thing that stopped her from prowling forward was the barrier that Draeg had forced her behind. Firefly listened still, in silent anger at the Drappa's words. The thought of believing the drappa wavered, but Firefly was not about to take the chance. Motherly instinct or not Firefly would not leave her cubs out of her sight.
Firefly wallowed in her own frustration, silenced by draeg. She growled, was he afraid that she would make some mistake and get herself hurt? Or just saving himself the trouble? firefly mumbled but stayed silent, her cyan orbs wandered over to Cwen and blinked, cocking her head slightly. She would let them stay? After all this? Firefly self consciously dipped her head, and thanked the drappa in her mind. If she were to show her gratitude, it would not be here o on the spot. Perhaps little by little in the future Firefly would repay but for now at the moment a flare was still a lit in her heart for Cwen's harsh comment on the hybrid's family.
Firefly stood still as silence rocked the atmosphere for the moment before Cwen broke it with her voice, that returned to its mysterious tone. Firefly listened but had nothing to comment. She watched Draeg wondering what he would reply the silver drappa. Firefly blinked toward Cwen and answered her with the same silent cold stare that mirrored the drappa's, but behind the anger and defense was a hidden respect for the silver Fae. Firefly let her eyes blink and close for a few seconds before reopening them. Fly could not blame her for her emotions, or her relationship toward the tan hybrid, but Firefly could not deny nor will not change the fact that she was the one who shared Draeg's other love. But as Firefly watched Cwen turn and begin to pad away from them without another word Firefly watched in silence at first. So she was allowed to stay, but consequences were that both Fae's were liable to fight, and Cwen would not back down fro ma chance to tear the smaller hybrid apart. Firefly grumbled at that but she let out an agitated growl and stepped forward, as if her actions were hesitant but her mind had brought her forth and she brushed lightly past draeg.. "Cwen!" she barked with a deep growl, her eyes were still pinned with the same unknown but she let her shoulder's fall slightly and she nodded, "Thank you," Firefly said her tone not changing from its sharp tongue, but behind those words was the hidden gratitude. And with that Firefly turned and padded back to Lydair for her frightened and confused cubs.
