No.[/i]
The word sent the femme darting forward, stepping close beside beside Uskiya with a horrified look crossing her white maw. "What?" the healer gasped softly, her cyan orbs widening in surprise and fear. She couldn't leave her best friend and her mate alone, without a healer and without a pack. A low growl rumbled from her throat and her maw opened and closed sveral times, small croaks popping from her throat as she struggled to speak. But no words came, and the femme sat back. Her dragga's lips curled into a sly smile and suddenly he swiped a heavy paw at Cal; now he was grinning. Lydair scowled at Draeg, muzzle and tail raising proudly and boldly as her brow knit together as a sigh of relief escaped her lips. "Draeg! You...you...' Finally she crouched, obviosuly exasperated. Chuckling softly, the fae turned to Uskiya with a crooked smile. "Are you alright?" the healer was trembling as the sudden shock of instinctive fear passed, leaving her veins empty for a moment, it seemed. The femme's fur ruffled and she relaxed, lihte paws stretching out as she yawned, content to watch Cal try his hardest to gnaw on Draeg's thick tail. grinnign wdiely and laughing as her dignified alpha jerked it away with a surprise and pleading bark, and her azure orbs glittered with glee.
Suddenly she heard the amber male's voice sear through the air, calling her name roughly, and she snapped her ehad up sharply and glanced at him, tensing as she thought that perhaps she had angered him. realizing he was only reasserting her job, she shook her head with a warm smile and nudged Uskiya. "Don't worry. When you appointed me healer, I knew I could handle it. She'll be fine. " Uskiya spoke to her with thanks and she shrugged them off. "You're my best friend, Uskiya, and not to mention I'm the healer of this pack. I owe you, trust me."[/color]

This moment was priceless, and Cal knew that the news would spread like wild-fire that the pack nurse was goint o have a litter of her own and it's going to be the first one since the new Alphas arrived. He watched as Uskiya gingerly tore a piece of hare that Draeg gave her. Giving her a look of deep loving he came closer to her and gave a tender lick on the cheek. She returned it with one of her nudges and he let out a low growl of excitement. Turning around as the amber Dragga was speaking to him again telling him the reason on why he was holding off his scouting duties to the pack nodding along to his words. "Well, I still have to say thank you. From the time I knew you you already started helping me from my troubles, and now you helping me again. With my pups, my mate, everything. You can have my word that I shall always be loyal to this pack and when you have the troubles...hey, good friends will always be there.." growled Cal. Cal had lunged with jaws playfully but it the busy tassel was swatted at his muzzle and was lifted high out of reach from Cal's eager jaws. Grinning slightly, he watched his mate finishing up the hare and he eagerly came over and licked the blood off her lips. So happy for her and the pups and knowing that even if he didn't know what he was doing he would have the whole pack to support him. Also, he was glad that Lydair was going to be with her the whole time, knowing her skills for healing and have seen her dong her job in many different situations. Smiling he came closer and he gave the healer an affectioniate lick on the cheek
As Draeg told him what he had to do, he said "goodbye" to his Dragga as he setted off to alert the rest of the pack of the good news. Meanwhile the three will have to find a whelping den for Uskiya. "Well, let's go." said Cal. And with that the three setted off with happiness filling in their minds. The brown varg couldn't contain himself and let out a another howl of joy, and couldn't help but giving Uskiya many licks and nuzzles. The future is now, their dreams have become reality.

Uskiya smiled and had wondered if Draeg had suspected, and now she knew she had been right. With that Draeg bounded off to tell the rest of the pack. Uskiya smiled as Cal couldn't stop licking her, she knew he was very excited, and she was as well. The task of finding a whelping den now lay before them and the gray fae knew it wouldn't be a simple task. Though it wouldn't be very hard either. She shrugged her shoulders, strechting them out and leting her maw stretch wide with fatigue. "I'm fine." She said turning to Lydair. "Are you okay?" she asked giving the healer a small nudge. "Well, friends take care of eachother." She smiled responding to Lydair's words of comfort.
Uskiya took a step forward, soon she would grow tired of just about anything and would be mostly confined to her whelping den. So it would be wise to find one soon. Especially if it needed work. As Cal spoke Uskiya knew that their search for a whelping den would begin and she let out a sigh. She padded forward her belly feeling different, she knew it would and it wasn't very big yet so it would change. Yet even know it felt different to her. She wondered what her mother would have said, if she had been alive. It was hard when something so exciting was happening, but you couldn't share it with your family. But now Ge-rad was her family, and Cal was her mate. She was carrying life inside her and Lydair was her friend. That was more than she surely deserved. She glanced at Cal, a moment of uncertainty flashing in her eyes before she looked to Lydair. She let out a sigh and thenturned back around. " Well, we should go then." She smiled and her tail swayed for a moment.

The femme trotted through the woods, her slender form darting isnide of shadows and revealing a thick coat again and again as she searched for a proper den for his close friend; she could here the two in front and beside her and the hybrid turned to them. "Uskiya, we should keep it close to the meeting place of Ge-Rad, simply for safety purposes. I promise no one will disturb you...' She turned back and lifted her muzzle into the air, the silver and white glimmering in the late sun. Her nares flexed and she sneezed suddenly as the familair smell of herbs filled her senses; grinning she turned round to Cal and winked. "If there's a den around here we're taking it, I don't care how much you have to dig." Lydair teased with a playful nudge to the brown male. "Draeg told you to lay off scouting, so you're going to help me gather herbs and tend to your mate. I will not be the object of her wrath." Lydair grinned; she hoped the male and fae both knew she was joking.
Wheeling suddenly, an opening crossed her vision and she barked in recognition of the den. "Uskiya, Cal!' lunging forward, the fae noticed several leaves drooped over the entrance; they provided something of a screen and she crouched down and crawled inside, gasping as she realized the tunnel lead several Varg-lengths back. Once inside, she slowly stood and realized the roof hadn't brushed against her fur. Skittering back out, she stood in front of it proudly, cyan orbs gleaming with happiness. "This is the one I'd choose, Uskiya." she barked truthfully. "And Cal won't have to do a lick of digging!"

(((sorry Cal, but I will be busy and this was a good time)))
Uskiya follwed the two vargs, Lydair briskly keeping pace and Uskiya following best as she could. She smiled at Lydair's comments. "Wrath? You talk like I will turn into some angry fat she varg. I suppose that is a good idea, and I trust you to keep out anyone that wishes to disturb me." She let out a yawn, maw stretching wide, a high pitched noise escaped her maw as her yawn proved longer than she expected. Suddenly LYdair skidded forward and spotted something that excited her cyan orbs. The gray fae followed and her tail wagged, suddenly the fae dissapeared into the den and Uskiya watched and waited excitment filling her body. When the fae returned she exclaimed of it's perfectness. "Perhaps I should check it out then." She chuckled and dissapeared into the den, noticing that it went far down and was rather tall, it would indeed be perfect. A shiver of excitment filled the gray fae as she pictured her pups. She emerged from the den and shook her fur, ridding it of the slight dirt.
Months later the gray fae was rather large and showing the added weigth of pups, her coat was building up and she became sluggish. She spent time in the den and would come out often to speak with her mate and dear friend. She emerged from the den and waddled over to a shaded place to sit and relax, she had been altering the den inside in her boredom and lack of patience.
