Lydair watched her friend pad away, into the shadows, and she turned to Uskiya. "I, too, am taking my leave." her voice was soft and gentle, far from her feelings at the current moment. "If you would like to come, than please do.." The hybrid's cyan orbs glittered and she looked around, nodding to each wolf in turn. at last her orbs settled onto Shako, and they widened as mixed feelings clouded her mind. Sighing softly, she turned away and darted through the underbrush, knowing she would be having an unsettling talk with Shako later, and, if her dragga or drappa noticed her actions, one of them, which she dreaded. Both of them. She didn't want to hear that Shako was falling in love with Yalae, didn't want to be reprimanded for her attitude toward a new member. She wanted to run.
But something held her back, and so she padded quickly through Ge-Rad, trotting shakily; her normal, graceful gait off balance. Closing her eyes, she continued walking, pausing only when something gentle and warm caressed her face.one she loved? No- just the skimming branches of a willow, dangling before her. Finding solitude and seclusion beneath its branches, she crouched and crawled awkwardly beneath them. The angel tree, her mother had called them, from their branches, woven by Tor and Fenris, came in the shape of Sita's wings- that of an angel, and the billowed and flapped inaudibly, yet the wind whistled through the and lulled the femme into a false sense of comfort and security. Lydair was indescribably worried, and angry, and sorrowful, and she couldn't decide the feelings.
(((Okay, Koan- Go get yours now, and then I'll post mine after that.
Oh yeah- Shako, Yalae, Cal, Uskiya, and of course draeg and Cwen 9since they are alphas- though i doubt you guys will post here. Please wait for Koan, and then my post!)))

A scarred muzzle tracked her progress. His amber eyes had seen that look before, on his own maw. Pain, so deep it felt like both flesh and mind had been rent by an incredibly sharp knife. He took a tenitive step, and then he went at a brisk trot after her. His mind rang slightly, pondering why he was following her. Wasn't it obvious that she wanted to be alone?
But how many times had Huts done this to him? He had felt like he needed to be alone, but she never let him, never allowed him to berate himself and cause himself so much suffering.
He came upon her, after following her scent, perched under a willow. "Excuse me?" he growled, tenitively. "Milady?"

Lydair had finally found peace, in the deepest abyss of sleep. Woken by a sudden chill in her mind she stirred, ears perked, to see Koan padding through the small clearing. Blushing- she hated feelign sorry for herself; there were so many better things she could do- she nodded to him but averted the steely male's cunning gaze- those amber orbs had gazed into her own cyan ones during her meeting with Cwen, and although she knew what he was doing it frightened her. he was a handsome wolf, she would give him that, but he was Draeg's son.
Her heart panged; Shako was probably with Yalae right now, comforting her. Coward. Lydair thought darkly, hackles bristling at the thought of the odd femme. Lydair herself might have been a hound, a hybrid; males may, in the end, find her heritage repulsive, but she was proud of it and would refuse to let it burden her. As Koan's shy voice broke through her trance, she raised her head and gave hima smile, blushing again through the thick white and blue-black fur on her cheeks. "Koan..." She said softly; her voice broke and pain filled her eyes. every thought shako fileld her with sorrow- yet it was this kind male who had ventured after her, trailed her to talk. "its a pleasure seeing you again, Koan, it really is." she tried to sound chipper, but was unsure if he had heard the sadness in her voice.

A gray fae walked lightly through her new pack lands, her furred belly stuck out with added weight. T was shortly after a meeting with her new pack mates tha the fae took her leave. Her dear friend Lydair had run out of the meeting with a heavy pain on her heart. The fae suspected perhaps what could have caused it but she wasn't sure. It had been a mental battle to stay at the meeting instead of following her friend, but it was because a nother varg had followed her out. Koan was his name, it appeared to Uskiya that something was blooming between Lydair and Koan, but she wasn't sure. A familar voice struck the air and Uskiya knew it to be Lydair's, another voice was there as well, Uskiya recognised it barley as Koan's. She trotted awckwardly forward and broke into the varg's presence. She stopped and appraoched Lydair, she looked to Kona first and greeted him. "Hello Koan." She said dipping her head in greeting as she was so used to doing. Then she turned back to Lydair, auds tuned toward the femme. "Lydair, are you all right?" Uskiya asked her, though it was obvious that she wasn't. Uskiya worried for Lydair, she didn't want her to be unhappy, but there was little the gray fae could do for her friend. Perhaps Koan could help her, they seemed to be getting along well. The fae sat down and her tal thumped the ground once, the pack meeting had been strange and left the fae in an odd move, her mate had left early as well. not to mention almost everyone else. It didn't take Uskiya long to realise that her time to leave had come as well.

Lydair smiled up at her friend; she knew the precious burden she was carrying and was happy for her. "Yes, I'm alright. I just need to think things through next time i get upset. Its not like me to run away from my problems.." the hybrid healer realized she was rambling and her maw closed; her head lay gently back down on her paws and she glanced up at Uskiya. "Are you alright?" Her gaze swerved slowly to Koan and she watched him with a wry smile; the dragga was scarred, but she knew he had pride, even though he seemed so bitter much of the time. she still wondered about Huts, but he didn't tell her more and she wouldn't press the matter.

[glow=black,2,3] The white male padded along the scent freshly laid by Lydair, he was curious to know why she was so upset. It bothered him to see a friend so, upset, was it?
Having no idea what he was getting himself into, Shakó followed the scent into a small group, the oddly marked but beautiful coat belonging to Lydair had proven him that his weak nose had some use. Lydair seemed to be holding company, but Shako was unsure if she was enjoying it, or putting on a mask. He recognized the other two: the male, he saw earlier, was Koan. And the gray female: he knew her to be Uskiya. Uncertain weather or not he should venture further, Shakó took his chances.
Exposing himself to the group, Shakó padded out from the safely of the underbrush. “Lydair, I must know, what happened?” he asked, coking his white head to the side, awaiting an answer.
//your turn, Koan! Unless Lydair or Uskiya have anything else to add.// [/glow]

The battle-blade hued warrior had stayed silent as the fae had conversed, his amber eyes passive as he pondered what was said. His mind whirred. No running from her problems, she said? It was true that one could not always run... but were there not some problems you could not face?
Even as his mind thought this, the new male arrived. He could guess that this was the cause of her distress, and a snarl crossed his muzzle. "Get out of here.... your company is not desired, nor welcome in this place, wolf." he growled. "This place is a place of calm, and all you bring to her heart is chaos. Leave her be." He took a single step foward, his hackles raised and his ivories bared.

The fae's ears twitched and she stood with a growl; another had followed her flight from Cwen's meeting, and she had a sinking feeling it was Shako. A moment later the familair figure of her once-close friend Shako peeked awkwardly through the brush and shadows that consumed his white coat; Lydair stood hurridly, a sorrowful expression souring her beautiful features on her slender maw. She turned round to face him completely, mixed emotions pooling into her extravagant cyan eyes. Stepping backwards, her paws crossed as she took meager steps, never breakign her agze on the white male. She turned towards Koan, pleading with him, and the femme leaned against his steel-hued coat. Her eyes darted to Uskiya and she grit her teeth; her jaw msucles kneaded. She was small, and thin, but beneath her coat she held rippling muscles and strength, and, looking darkly amused, she realized that Shako knew it. The hybrid lowered her head slightly as she listened to his words, and she growled lowly, her eyes flaring with anger. Her maw opened and she spoke. "You know what you did, Shako." She growled softly, her heart panging. Why wouldn't he let her alone? Shako had doen enough damage to her heart, although, she couldn't come close to denying it, she still had many feelings for the warrior and she longed for his company.
Her head cocked in surprise and she stepped backwards, her muzzle snapping up as she gaped towards Koan. The male had come to her rescue, demanding the the warrior leave for lydair's own good and ending his command with a threatening snarl and a defensive step forward. Lydair's ears flicked and she gazed at Koan, realzing things about him she had never realized before. Giving Koan a coy smile, the healer leaned against him again, looking now at Shako with azure eyes. "You want to comfort Yelae, don't you? Because you love her." Lydair's growl was bitter and angry.
(((Shako, don't forget, Lydair still wants to be his friend once she figures out she really loves Koan. ^^ Oh yeah, Koan, please message me!)))

Uskiya looked at Lydair, she could guess what was possibly bothering her dear friend but she wouldn't pry into her life. "Take your time then, I am sure it will work it'self out." She smiled and sat down somewhat oddly with her new weight and sighed. Her auds turned and another varg entered, it was Shako, the fae knew little of him, except that Lydair seemed to like him, or had liked him. " I am fine, rather fat but all right." She responded to the healer, keeping her gaze on Shako as he entered. Her auds went back slightly as Koan spoke angrily to Shako, the gray fae tried to relax but there was tension. Uskiya watched as Lydair faced Shako, though she glanced to the gray fae and gritted her teeth. Uskiya tried to show courage for her friend, she knew Lydair would be okay, or at least she hoped she would be. Lydair stood by Koan lleaning on him for a moment after a coy smile in his direction. She then spoke to Koan and seemed to have ganed some strength. There was obviously something going on between Koan and Lydair, it made the fae smile though she turned her eyes back to Shako, how would he react to this? Was it possible that allready there was bitter relations developing between pack members?

Watching from the distance a young she-Varg stood. She shook her head as though to clear thoughts from her mind before watching the small group of Vargs in a distance. She stood down-wind, the frigid air blowing towards her, though it was quiet gentle of a breeze. She barely made out the words spoken by Lydair, Shako, Uskiya, nor even Koan, but she knew that if she aproached the cluster, her presence would be unwelcomed.
The words that she did hear were broken and bitter, causing her to tremble with an unknown feeling. She begins to rise, but something tells her to remain where she was. Perhaps it was curiousity that caught her, and refused to release her, or maybe it was something else. If anything bad happened to Shako...she would defend him as well as she could. Though she was not a powerful, muscular wolf, she was no Sikla.

[glow=black,2,3] Shako looked taken aback at the silver battle- scarred male. He had never personally talked to this male before, but he head the Varg’s name was Koan. Shako’s own white hackles threatened to raise, but Koan’s words kept them down. Lydair’s hurt words made him realize, that that’s all he was doing to Lydair, is hurting her. But why? Why does Lydair really care that I love another?
Lydair’s harsh words made him wine, he didn’t exactly know what was going on. Lowering his white head, his gold eyes casted downward, Shako felt hurt he had upset the oddly marked fae. He had never meant for her to get angry at him, he had never meant to hurt her; that was the last thing on his mind.
Koan words had risen again from the depths of the warrior’s mind. He didn’t belong here, and he wasn’t welcome. Why stay here? “You’re right, Koan. I’m not welcome here, so I see no reason to stay. I shouldn’t have even come here. It was a mistake.” he looked up at Lydair, who was leaning against the scarred male, who he was protecting. Could this be the flicker of a friendship? Or perhaps, something more? “I don’t want to hurt you anymore, Lydair. You’ve won, Koan.” he added to the large silver male. Shako wondered weither or not if Koan had noticed the spark between the two.
With a swish of his tail, shako was heading back into the woods. But he noticed something about the gray fea he knew to be Uskiya, Cal’s mate. She seemed, overjoyed, by something. But then it hit him, for sometimes a Varg can sense these thing, or get a feeling. “Congratulations, Uskiya. To you and Cal.” He smiled at the white fea, and leapt into the woods.
But in doing so, he meat another: the beautiful white fea, Yelae. His gray lips curled into a smile, as he padded up to her. “what do you say we get out of here, my Beauty?” he whispered into her ear. He didn’t want to end up getting into a fight with his own pack mate, and he didn’t want to put Yelae in any danger. [/glow]

"My Beauty," he had murmured in her ear. Her eyes widen, and she feels her heart thumps rather loudly in her chest, though she knew no wolf could hear it. It only felt loud, yet wasn't actually causing a true sound.
"Uh...uh, sure," she murmurs, looking back. She was glad that her white fur covered the red hot intensity that filled her face, almost like a blush. She closes her eyes, taking a moment to recouparate. Opening them, she looks into his own eyes.
She had missed their conversation completely, so was unaware to what had happened. What caused Shako to leave suddenly? "Um..." she whispers, looking down towards her paws, "Shako," oh how his name made her heart leap at the moment, "Why is it that Lydair despises me. I know she is trying to hide it, but I can detect the feeling of hate anywhere, living with it for so long." she stops a small sob from forming upong her lips, and let her eyes burn for a moment. She could never escape the fact that she was going to be despised, never. Hate will always follow obediatly in her paw prints, no matter what. She had no idea that she caused Lydair pain, yet she knew she had did something terrible and wrong, or at least in the hybrid's mindset...
"Why," she murmurs to herself quietly, looking back towards the others, "Do I feel unwelcomed...?"

[glow=black,2,3] The white male was unsure of how to answer, after all, he only had a hunch of why Lydair hated yelae so."I think," he began slowly,"that it is because of me. I think me getting close to you only upsets Lydair, making her hate you." He pondered his words, for he hoped that she wouldn't blame herself, for it wasn't her fault at all. No, the feelings Lydair has were totally out of his control, and he didn't think that anyone anytime soon could change that.
Shako smiled at the white female, and his heart seemed to tug toward her. "Don't feel unwelcomed, you'll always be able to call this place "home." And don't let Lydair get to you, either. She'll come around, in time." Truth was, he wasn't sure that Lydair would ever come around. He only could hope, that in time she would see Lydair as a friend. Only time would tell.

"My friend." she muttered as the he-Varg leapt from the clearing with a swift goodbye. Her pierceing cyan gaze scanned the woods; although it was barely visible she saw the hazy form of the two white wolves, conversing. Their words were lost upon her white-trimmed ears, but she shrugged and turned to Uskiya and Koan, straightening herself and gazing at the silver male, although she spoke to both. "I'm sorry if I've caused you to any trouble." She barked, wagging her thick tail. Her cobalt back elongated as she stretched out, flexing small, dainty paws and groping at nothing particular. Her lids closed to slight slits and Lydair woofed slightly, blowing out air before sucking in a deep breath. She stood beside Koan; the hyrbid was a sharp contrast to the male, as she was to Uskiya. To everyone in the pack, although she loved most of them like the family she had once held close before it shattered. The fae was loyal, and no matter what burdened her heart she would always be there for her close friends and her pack-mates. thoughts echoed bitterly in her mind, but she shook her graceful cranium gingerly and padded to Uskiya, letting her long white limbs fold beneath her slender bodice and she titled her body slightly so that she could view both the silver male and the gray fae, the two varg she held closest to her heart at the current moment. "Uskiya, are you doing alright? Cal would throw a fit if he thought for one moment you were in discomfort." her words were soft and gentle; the Lydair most knew her as was returning slowly- so long as she stayed clear of Shako and his white companion her cyan orbs would always glitter brightly.
She looked up at Koan and cocked her head- the male's pelt was rough and scars jagged along his muscular form. for a moment the healer wondered why Draeg ahd palced him as scout instead of warrior, but it was not her decision. "He's a handsome Varg; he's got that to his side. She thought. the femme ducked her head in case the male could see the red that flushed the sides of her jaws and she smield up at him, not meetign his amber gaze with her own azure one.

"I sure hope so," sighs the young Varg, looking towards the others. She sees Lydair scan the woods for a moment, before returning her gaze to the others. Her heart ached, knowing that she might have ignighted a fire within the she-Varg's heart, one that could never be put out entirely, always smoldering. Even if there was the small chance of becoming friends, the smoldering could erupt into another fire it a spark of jealousy happens upon them.
She sighs, shaking her head and looking away as well. "Shako," she says quietly, "Let us go..."
