Blood coloured ears twitched as an emerald eye blinked, watching silently. She blinked once as they watched Sora. She was no longer the small and wobbly pup. Gryffin watched though still silent then she turned her muzzle toward Fiory. "Non-sense! We'll make it through. If we need to steal and kill then let it be. Deor is weak and koran is pathetic. Even if they decide to fight they'll never make it into the mountains" Gryffin spoke, though her lips held a grin.
Gryffin scented the air, this winter might not be as worse as the ones past. It was still strangely warm enough, and the snowfall had been quite limited. Gryffin then turned "You taught me how to hunt remember, we'll pull through."
Gryffin knew though that there was no use in argueing. With a whine and a shake Gryffin dipped her head in honorable appreciation, bringing her muzzle to touch her Drappas before stepping back, her ears erect as if a new sense of pride flowed through her, though her shoulders felt heavier at the realization of responsibility. But all this thought was quickly snatched away with the quarrel between Sora and Renn.
Hackles prickled as Gryffin turned to watch this mouthing. She watched Sora first. Some part of her didnt care what she said. In a sense it was not her business, and so why should she care? Yet the tri hued beta did not flip, no she stayed cool, drinking in every word that Sora spat. Her tail curled but Fiory spoke sooner. Gryffin looked to the star gazer, respect still in her eyes. A trickle of distemper shot through Gryffin, as if she, the mother, needed someone else to 'tell' off her child. Gryffin flickered her ear but let the moment pass coolly. Though hackles spoke otherwise.
Gryffin looked to Sora, her farcade expressionless. But when the beta turned her ears pricked to hear the growls of Renn. Gryffin turned her emerald eyes pinned on the golden she wolf. Mutiny. How it disgusted Gryffin. The beta snarled. "One more word about another pack member and I'll make sure you all die a horrible painful death."[.b] Gryffin barked then turned to Renn with the beginnings of a rouch snarl. "Dreogon is dead. And that low life drappa couldnt stand a chance. She's linked to that Koran filthe of a bitch. Give me proof Renn and I might take your statement into thought. What are these suspicions? Rising from dissappearence of Sora or did you see her with your very eyes? I believe I told you to stay back and guard our territory. Now I do not believe i've ever questioned you about your dissappearences now have I?" The words from Gryffin were thick and bold but her snarl had dissappeared from trace, though hidden, her words brought a sense of truth. Now Gryffin had never suspected of any betraying thoughts. Nor did she really care to think, as long as it was not with Koran or Deor and in a sense Ge rad. If it werent for Draeg she wouldnt give a rats behind if the pack all died a horrible death. And in a sense her care for the dragga's friendship had depleted some bit. Besides two mates, and one that was a traitor to the Sarnes. .And Dreogan... long gone. Their members had all been whelps, all looking for a chance to stay in a pack for shelter. They did not know how to fight.
The beta let a low growl rumble, turning as if any more trouble she'd let Sudak take care of it. Betray. Gryffin didnt like that word, perhaps she wanted to believe nothing of that sort was occuring. But little did she know that she was so close to accusing Renn for her little romp and sucking up to a certain Dragga and his son.

Remaining close to her mentor Aiyu listen intently as the ebon fae addressed the pack, doing her best to avoid drawing any attention to herself and keep clear of what bit of her family had decided to show. Fiory’s failing health reflected in her speech, the elderly drappa’s thinning body occasionally erupting into a fit of violent coughs that would tear through her lungs with devastating force. During such times Aiyu could only sit and watch as Fiory fought to recover her stolen breath, licking her chin submissively in a feeble attempt to comfort her mentor. The tinted femme still had trouble accepting that Fiory’s time in List was almost at an end despite everything she had seen of her aunts rapidly diminishing health, in Aiyu’s mind Fiory would always be around to help guide her down the right path. It was the delusions of a selfish pup’s but it was one that Aiyu wanted very much to believe nonetheless.
She remain silent through Gryffin’s rebuttal, not quite sure what to make of her mother’s words. Stealing from other packs, killing other varg. Was this even meant to be comforting? Once again Aiyu looked upon the tri-hued beta in astonishment, thinking how different she was from the gentle fae Aiyu used to sleep beside. Was this really her mother? Whining Aiyu withdrew further behind her aunt as Gryffin came forward, watching as she and Fiory brushed muzzles in what seemed to be show of appreciation or perhaps acceptance. And so it was with that simple gesture that Fiory stepped down and that Gryffin and Sudak became the new Dragga and Drappa of List.
Dimly aware of the fierce rivalry between Renn and her sister Aiyu thought it best to let Fiory or at least someone with more authority handle the pair, wary of the mounting tension that had silently begun to form between Sora and Renn. Predictably it wasn’t long before an argument broke out between the two, this time the ferocity of their quarrel so happen catching the attention of both Gryffin and Fiory. Having already dealt with Sora’s volatile temper once already Fiory seemed in no mood to deal with red youth’s psychotic outburst, backing away from her mentor Aiyu merely watched as the Stargazing Drappa suddenly sprang forward, black lips pulled back in a fierce snarl and snapping her jaws at Sora’s muzzle before rebuking her. Emerald eyes blinking Aiyu found herself turning to find Gryffin likewise dealing with Renn, viciously rebuking the golden fae for accusing her daughter of treachery, the tri hue drappa going so far as to threaten her life should she speak another word against her fellow packmates.
Seeing her mother deal with Renn, whom up until this point Aiyu had always thought was one of her mother’s closet friends, so harshly for defending herself against Sora’s uncalled accusations Aiyu couldn’t help shivering, she had never seen her mother so angry before. To Aiyu it was such an unnatural sight that she couldn’t help but wonder whether Gryffin was really taking Renn’s accusation to heart or if she was just defending her daughter. Glancing between the offending femme Aiyu couldn’t help but wonder if perhaps there was some truth to what Renn had said about Sora. Was her sister really a traitor?
Thinking back to the sinister look Sora had given her earlier Aiyu shivered, realizing that she wasn’t quite ready to rule out the idea that Renn might be right about her sister.

What was said, was said, and as soon as the outburst had cleared and tempers had flared, the ebony stargazer calmed again and merely took a step or two backward to allow someone else a chance at being the leader. It was as if she had seen her old habits reappear, and had nearly forgotten about it not being her place anylonger to deliver punishments to the younger femme. Her hackles lowered, and those eyes began to shine gently once more, her tail lowered beneath Gryffin's for the first time in her entire life. It was nearly sureal to the aging femme, to have to submit to her neice as such, but it was meant to happen sooner or later. That brush of her muzzle before Fiory's outburst had been the equivilant of an acceptance of her resignation letter, and just now it seemed that the ebon femme had overstepped her boundries already as a lower varg.
"Listern Vargs from here on out, are in good paws with Gryffin and Sudak...My heart can rest easily now...If ever you need my assistance, I am merely a howl away..." Her words were quiet, almost to Sudak more then Gryffin who appeared to have her hands full already with Renn and Sora on her own. Silently the stargazer turned to the shivering form of her apprentice, and lightly her tail swayed as if moved by a passing breeze. Her head lowered and a comforting nuzzle was given to her Trailing Star, almost as if to say without words that she was sorry for her outburst; that she hadn't meant to frighten her in the least...it was merely habit.
"If this meeting then is adjurned, Balkarian Drappa, I would like to continue my teachings with Aiyu once more..." Her words carreid elegantly on the breeze, the dubbance of Gryffin flowing off her tounge gently and serenly, almost as if it had longed to be said for many a year. The time of the Stargazer had ended, to shine anew with the Balkarian Drappa to dawn alongside her Snow Capped Dragga. A time of fire and ice seemed upon them, and now all Fiory longed to do was sit back and watch; to observe her pack as she had once done what seemed like long ago when Shatocwnn had once been Drappa, and Leohlic her partner. A rackety breath escaped her muzzle, as much as she tried to extinquish it's sound, igniting truth in her wishful thinking; how long pray tell, would she manage to stay alive to watch her pack prosper, or fall? For a moment, the thought was bright in her mind, until another earlier question came spinning forth. With a crisp and clear bark, turned round to the quarrelling others before her, Fiory addressed her new Drappa and her niece.
"Gryffin, if I am permitted....I would like a private word with Sora..."

Gryffin turned away from Renn and Sora, with a flick of her tail and a small grumble of annoyance. This was supposed to be a meeting, a celebration of Fiory's story. Now ruined by the actions alike to whelps that needed to be told and put to place. Well with that taken care off Gryffin turned to face fiory once again. She listened to her words once more, and the beta found herself wary of the stargazers words. The juvenile days of Gryffin seemed to be over. Catchign 'snow-mice' and romping with butterflies and chasing the puppy Sudak around seemed long ago.
But Fiory's words seemed surreal. It sounded as if Fiory were to leave. Gryffin tilted her head only to relax when she assured them she was only a call away. Gryffin stayed still, feeling nervous liek a cub. And when Fiory's stance lowered below the tri hued femme, Gryffin blinked her own tail self conciously lowering. But the new words flowing from Fiory's mouth was anew with a different thought. Balkarian Drappa The words tickled Gryffin's ears. But it didnt seem to fit. True balkar flowed freely in her blood and she was well with the dubbance Daughter of such a pack and father. But Balkars could not be drappas. And so it did not seem theoretically correct. Gryffin blinked as she thought of her mother. What if she would not be able to lead as well as her parents once did. Her mother the Frost Drappa Then there was Bila, the Fire Drappa. And finally Fiory the Stargazing drappa Perhaps her dubbance would come in time. But there were other pressing matters to worry about.
Gryffin turned to look from Fiory to the yout Aiyu. A smile slipped from Gryffin's lips as she saw her daughter. "Of course Fiory. " She spoke addressing Aiyu's teachings. She wanted to know of what she had learned so far. Aiyu was quiet i nthe den and didnt speak much of what she learned.
Gryffin looked to Sora, her face emotionless, a mask that hid away all emotions. Was she feeling dissappointed? worried. No one but Gryffin would know. The beta simply turned her head to Fiory and nodded, "She's all yours"

((Gryffie, Renn isn't sucking up epsecially not to Draeg, she hates him.))
"I'll find you proof," Renn muttered so softly that no one besdies herself could hear her words. The golden faemme had known that Gryffin wouldn't believe her, for despite their friendship, how could Renn ever compare to the new Drappa's daughter? And also, Renn thought her disapearances hadn't been noticed. But it seemed that they hadn't and it was obvious that if anyone found out about her relationship with Kop he existence in List was doomed. In any case, that moment in time was the right time to back away from Sora before Renn's position became even more compromised. At least she knew that she was still higher than Sora, it was a small stupid thing but it made the Listerner feel better.
Retreating slightly from Sora and Gryffin, Renn flashed Drathlic a look, wondering if his expression might reveal anything, wondering if her might betray her secrets. She wondered is she should tell Silent, the golden faemme knew that her silver friend would not betray her, for she understood love from a feminine perspective - ok not the wild passionate forbidden love that Renn was experiencing, but still love. The golden faemme knew she could count on Silent to stick by her, Drathlic too, but it seemed that Rennn had lost a friend in Gryffin. By accusing Sora so boldly, Renn knew that she could probably never reach the same friendship she had shared with Gryffin, unless of course Sora proved her treachery in the end, but when that happened it would probably be too late for Renn.
Anyway, it was too alte to focus on that, and Renn's gaze swung round the surrounding Packmembers until it landed on Aiyu, settling there. She locked eyes with Sora's sister, reading into those orbs, thinking of how Sora treated her sister. It was terrible the way Aiyu was so visciously bullied, and Renn ahd often wanted to reach out to Aiyu and comfort her in some way, but she had never really had the chance. Back to reading her eyes though, Renn pondered if Aiyu believed her, and even if she didn't the golden faemme wished to speak to the youth. But for now, it would be better to wait until everything had finished.

Golden eyes flicked from one varg to another, her mind racing. There seemed to be a fight within List, nevermind with other packs. Silver auds flickered nervously, her nerves had improved, yet they still seemed to be frayed in places, and this was one of them. Golden optics fell onto Gryffin, marvelling the new power she held beneath her paws, the power to lead List to glory, Silent already knew List was going to grow and the other packs would fear it for their strengths. The young silver adult knew where she stood in the pack, and with her emissary training coming along, she felt more important, yet still, slightly insignificent.
She stood next to Renn, her silver pelt close to her friends golden. She had become sleek, grown, a fine young adult. Her paws were no longer big enough to make her clumsy, her ears were no longer large, they had become small, perfect. She had grown swift, agile, to enhance her emissary abilities. Her muzzle had lengthened slightly and become sleek, her eyes became brighter, more golden. But, despite her grown appearence, it was her character, her personality which had changed the most. The List pack had formed from a scared, frightful youth, to a strong, capeable young adult. Her golden eyes now flicked over the pup Sora, and onto Fiory. Oh, how she remembered the day she had her terrible accident. When they were on the hunt, fighting for their survival in the tough winter. She had been hit by the lera, and the shattering crack had astonished all of the hunters there.
She scanned the old Drappa over, looking at how strong she was, despite her age, how sleek, how magnificent she still was. She still seemed to have the power she had just moments before she stepped out of her rank as Drappa, and down to the Nurse. Silent still felt she had to respect her as much as she did before, when she was the lead. No matter if she was the nurse or not. Silents golden orbs gazed back, slightly bleak, at Gryffin. A question suddenly burned furiously at her mind. Who were the new Beta's? She knew a pack would not really be a correct pack without Beta's, and there were no other fulkly grown adults...
Her silver peltage shuddered slightly as she suddenly looked at Renn and whimpered softly, only audable enough for her friend to hear. Her heart raced, her mind burned. Surely, Sra wouldn't get the positions, she was barely a youth let alone an adult. She breathed slowly, rememberring to keep still, silent, calm, especially infront of her mentor and new Drappa. Her golden eyes raised to the trie-hued Drappa, taking in her new authority like a sponge. Her eyes occasionally flicking over to the ivory Dragga, Sudak, the lead warrior. The fierce warrior trainer, now a strong leader. He and Gryffin would lead powerfully over List. Yet, her eyes strayed back over to Sora, the little betrayer, the one whom Renn hated, yet Silent had never really encountered before. Would she cause more hassle for the golden fae? If she did, |Silent would be there to help her friend.
(Eck, crapeh and late. Full of gibberish and jargon. Just thought I had to appear ^^ And Congrats Gryff and Sudie on you new status!)
