If you have any questions or want to know how you can get started then post them here
Things you would want to know!
- What are the point rankings?
20 - puppy 100 - sikla 450 - strong 800 - beta wolf
- DO NOT GOD Mod
-what is god moding? God moding is when you make up the other person's actions. Lets say I was a sheep and I was having a post with Rabbit. If i was to god mod i would write. "Sheep runs over to Rabbit and pushes her over makign her fall to the ground." that is god moding... DONT DO IT!!
- Two liners
-What is this? It is when you post posts with only two or less lines. Hope fully you will not do this and in your IC (in character) posts you will write more then 5 lines. EXAMPLES of GOOD and BAD posting. BAD Tarkah came out of the bush trying to catch a rabbit. She was hungry. She then saw a fluffy bunny and chased it. Minutes later she caught it and ate it. GOOD ENOUGH Tarkah came out of the bush. Her yellow coloured eyes searching the land for food. She was hungry and hadn't eaten for days. She began to scent around and sniff the area trying to find prey. She then caught scent of a rabbit and minutes later she saw the rabbit lurking around the berry bushes. Tarkah padded towards it making as little noise as possible. With one giant leap she pinned the rabbit down and killed it with a quick bite. Tarkah growled happily and ate savouring the delicious meal. So if you are stuck, if you are lost or if your just wondering about somthing then post your questions here!! ^.^

I have some hints I learned from this website before. Just remember the following things when you are stuck and have no inspiration whatsoever:
- Thoughts - what is your character thinking?
- Emotions - how does everything around effect your character, like its history and those around it?
- Dialog - what is your character saying in response to another or to another?
- Enviroment - what does the earth around your character look like? feel like (warm or cool)? smell like(rabbits or an apporaching varg)? taste like(herla or blood)? feel like(muddy or snow)? sound like(birds or silence)? what season is it?
- Apperance - what does your character look like and smell like?

When did 500 points become strong? *cries* but but but.... And I was just curious, why is there a 400 point gap between Sikla and Strong? Sorry. I ask a lot of questions naturally. If you don't feel like answerin them that's okay ;D

[glow=red,2,300]Because you are supposed to be a sikla for a very long time, according to DCD 's book. That and far too many newbies were hitting that status without actually RPing...[/glow]

Oh yeah, I remembr that. *thinks of ttle for mayhem* Newbies kept going from pack to pack, "acn i join. can i join?" And they didn't even give them enough time to answer.
Thanks for giving me my points back..someone! ;D

Umm, how many posts do you need to join a pack? It seems like a lot of cubs aren't in packs, so I was just wondering if you had to be a Sikla.

[glow=steelblue,2,300]To join packs you need to be a puppy. Some packs like List only except Vargs that are friendly with members in the pack or if you are liked by the Drappa. And Nyoobe, you would know about that, wouldn't you.[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]I have a Question: If you say I ran up to a wolf and tried to push her down, would that be god modding?
Also: If you say that the other person did something to you, is THAT god modding?[/glow]

God-moding:
Wolfbane ran up to Fenris at bit him on the nose.
Not God-moding:
Wolfbane ran up to Fenris, jaw agape as he snapped at Fenris's nose.
By leaving no option for the other wolf to attempt a plausible manouvere out of the situation, you are God-moding. However, you can say you ran up to another wolf, hurling your weight forward so as to throw [insert name here] off balance. Then it is up to the other wolf whether you actually hit them or not. That is not god-moding. If you have any queries as to whether a post is god-moding or not, feel free to PM me, or any other admin, and we'd be more than happy to have a quick look

Do you just have to fight in the battle arena? Can you fight in the other areas too?

Only in areas such as the Battle Arena and within packlands are fights tolerated. Usually, admins or other members will give warnings not to fight if someone is trying to start a fight or is fighting in an area where this is not tolerated. If the member(s) who was/were fighting continue, a consequence such as a suspension from the site or a subtraction of posting points could occur.

[glow=blue,2,300]I have a Question: If you say I ran up to a wolf and tried to push her down, would that be god modding? Also: If you say that the other person did something to you, is THAT god modding?[/glow] Just to note after what Wolfbane said I dont think he fully answered your second question. God-modding is also controlling someone else's character in any way so yes, saying that another person did something to you (unless your repeating something they said in their thread of course ) is god-modding because you have controlled their character.

Uh, question here.
Do I have to post in strictly sentancy-prose form, or can I take this whole thing to another level with pure poetry? I think it would be a challenge to try and decode the symbolism, personification, and metaphors of poetry.
