Her howl dissipating into warm steam rising on the air as she halted her tune. Her iris, which told the story of her past, met with Serg’s, he gave her a silent gesture to wait as he bolted into the shadow behind him. Serza sat down on the rocky earth, her tail twitching to and fro anxiously awaiting his arrival as if he had been gone for the longest time. Gleaming orbs that phased from the dark signified his return as he crept along the gravel in a most Balkar fashion.
Masked by the night, a smile slid across her maw as he approached her. An ear flexed back being alerted of noise rustling in the stand of trees behind her. She gave a nod of her head and shifted herself closer to him. Pinning both auds along her skull now she submissively touched his nose with her own and gave a warming lick to his muzzle. Her tail wagging with an excitement known to her pup hood days.
After bottling up her playful attitude for half a year she stood up and gave a small yip that faded into a pleading whimper as her maw made a chewing motion. She trotted toward the trees before looking back at Serg provoking him to follow her in a night run. Her tail gave a flirtatious wisp and she strode off into the mountain’s forestry. Jet-black fur rippling in the wind that was created by her speed as her paws effortlessly propelled her.

Serg blinked as their noses touched and she licked his muzzle. all these were new strange sensations and actions. and he didnt quite know how exactly to react. should he lick her muzzle, should he jsut sit still? he was at a loss, but Serg then noticed she was about to run off. only he wasnt about to let her get away so easy. he stood up and as she strode off and leapt into a loping stride that changed into a fast sprint, limbs carrying him forwards swiftly till he had caught her up. black running beside black through the black night. their paces perfectly matched, Serg's senses were exhilarated as all the scents whizzing past fluttered in and out of his awareness. but always he could scent, and sense, Serza running beside him. and that fact made a small smile curve at the side of his mouth. he had enjoyed running before the freeness of the air ruhsing past him and earth flying by beneath his paws, but running beside Serza was a totally different experience. and he was revelling in it.

[glow=red,2,300]Burning green eyes bored out from the trees where the two wolves ran, and muscles tensed within red fur. Ragewarr's eyes watched not the one that he had started to care for, nay, he watched the male, the Night Hunter called Serg.
Rage's eyes narrowed. He had thought that perhaps Serza might have had some intrest in him; it seemed that the wolf had been wrong. He was no longer the same whining, winging cub who had chased a young fae, no, now he was a young adult, whos anger was building to a furious creshendo.(sp?)
He couldn't stand it, he charged, full tilt, out into the open, sheer anger in his gut, but a semi-plesent smile on his maw. "Hello Serza.. Do you remember me?" he said, a strange lightness to his voice. His eyes watched the male, and he felt his anger bubbleing, and he prayed that Serg would give him a reason to strike, to rip his heart from him.
He kept his pace with the pair of other wolves, and waited for the faes reply, all the time watching Serg. [/glow]

The warm brush of Serg’s pelt sent pulses of affection to her beating organ. Their figures brushing against each other in a steady stride that seemed to consume the ground, but abruptly their parallel run was interrupted by a wily voice that came from the shadows. Fading into view was Ragewarr a long-term friend of Serza’s from her early pup hood life. Her eyes grew soft with a pleasant excitement upon seeing the familiar face. Gradually her run slowed and she trotted into a halt, giving a soft yip to Serg to let him know that she had stopped.
Her tawny optics glittered with a joyous sensation, the feeling a mixture between her new found interests in Serg and upon seeing such a wonderful face as Ragewarr’s again. With a nudge of her muzzle and lick of her tongue she gave a friendly greeting to her old romping friend. The charcoal tail wagged rapidly as she sat down to converse with the now older Ragewarr.
“My dear friend,” She smiled, “Where have you been for so long.” She drew out the “so” in her speech to emphasize the meaning of how long he had been apart from her.
She suddenly felt as if she was a pup once again.

upon hearing the new voice, and the yip emitted by Serza Serg halted and turned. stood a little apart from Serza as she greeted Ragewarr, and watching the other male carefully. he felt a tang of something bitter inside as she greeted Rage. something that others could have described as a form of jealously.
he barely heard the words friend coming from Serza when thoughts ran quickly through his mind. was that all he was? a friend? this quick and unsupported conclusion normally would not have annoyed or pained Serg in any way, if it had been any other varg. but strangely he was offended by this mere thought, this mere suspicion, and he pondered what it would be like to tear this wolf limb from limb. however he couldnt say exactly what Rage had done to him yet, but he could see the plain unadultered hatred for him burning in Rage's eyes. Serg toyed with the idea of saying something to provoke him, saying anything. but with much effort he refrained, wondering what Serza would think, obviously she liked this varg, would be ruin everything if he attacked Rage?
slowly he walked forward and stood near Serza, far enguh away to be classed as not placing himself in that position unofficially, but near enough as to presume the fact to Rage who was standing before her. Serg didnt sit down. if Rage tried anything, he would be ready. he wasn't in the Balkar for no reason, wasn't in the pack with no sikla's by accident. his mind slowly calculated any moves Rage might make, acting as if he was half listening to the conversation when in fact he was listening intently with his amber eyes burning into Rage, standing, and waiting. waiting for the next move.

[glow=red,2,300]Rage's eyes grinned at Serg, and the message was clear. Good idea. Rage's head was always watching Serg, his heart beating faster now. This was the wolf he had never given up on, no matter how much he'd wanted too. But she.. .she had given up on him.
Rage's eyes watched Serg. The wolf had fought Balkar in the past, he was a wanderer for far too long to not have. He hadn't always won them, nay, he had run many times. But once, just once, he had. Rage knew for a fact he could eaisily join the Balkar, but... he chose not to. His mother's pack was his. "Wher have I been? Waiting for you Serza." he said softly. SEg was watching him, and Rage waited, his whole body tense for any attack that might come. [/glow]

Serg padded near the onyx beige fae, grasped feelings of security enveloped unnoticeably in her mind as she concentrated on Ragewarr’s speech. He talked of how he had waited for her and it sent a puzzling confusion to her.
“You have been waiting for me?” she questioned, “But whilst I was in the valley you had disappeared,” she paused and recalled on her memory.
She was indeed growing an interest in Ragewarr but slowly it seemed as if he faded away for many moons. She continued to travel the lands but to no avail of finding him, a little angered and a little sadden she had indeed felt like a fool.
The wolfess took a forceful step forward and looked Rage deeply in the eye so he could grasp the seriousness in which she was speaking to him. After this male had left her she had roamed the lands until meeting up with Serg, who at the time became quite the nuisance to her, as Serza was sure he felt about her. They were bitter enemies but now things were much different. There was no reason as to why this had happened but there was certainly no dismissal of the affections.
She advanced again, this time a depressing look washed upon her façade as she spoke, “But truly Rage, where did you go?” the fae was stubborn and she would not back down from this question especially now feeling a safety within Serg’s watchful eye.

[glow=red,2,300]"My family cast me out. I had no reason to stay here. You had vanished, as if Tor herself had taken you from the face of the earth." Rage said, looking at her with equal firmness. "I see I wasn't good enough though, was I?" he asked, softly, under his breath. "I searched for you, for a time, but then... life intervined, and I was forced out of these lands by wolves I had counted as friends. Besides, what does it matter. I might as well have died to you, am I right?"
"So who is your... friend?" he said, the words dripped with venom now, but it wasn't to the fae. It was most definately directed at the brute, and Rage's green eyes narrowed . [/glow]

Serg was not one to butt into other's conversation's or business, but he sensed he was going to be pulled into it somehow, and now was evidently the time. slowly he stood up, Rage was obviously hurt, and Serg was going to be the one he struck out at. he smiled inwardly, an expression that did not show on the outside.
'i am Serg' he snarled, speaking for the first time to Rage. 'and you make Serza out to be such a dismissive varg' he growled, standing up again slowly and dipping head head low, a gesture of rthe fact that he was ready to fight if Rage would be so brave, or foolish. 'obviously, you don't know her as well as you claim.' he defended, ti felt strange to defend another other than himself, but at the same time it felt right. 'if you want to fight me, then go ahead, im sick of waiting for you to spill the rest of your emotional tidalwave' he spat. and he was, sick of having to sit and listen to this varg he barely knew and already hated - for hate begets hate.

[glow=red,2,300]Anger bubbled up in Rage's gut. "It's true though. I do belive. I was, and am, in love with Serza, far before you even knew what love might be, wolf." He spat at him. "Do you claim to know her better then I? How can you claim this? The only person who truely knows another is themselves." He said softly. "Besides, Balkar, aren't you supposed to be too proud to know what love is?" he said, softly, anger fadeing. "I'm surprised, and actually... happy. I thought that he was the last of the ones who had emotions beyond just simple hate." Rage closed his eyes now, and when they opened, the anger and Rage were gone. "Serza. I'm sorry that I invaded your life. If you choose to love this wolf so be it. And you, Serg, take care of her, should she choose you. " Rage looked at him now, trying to keep the envy from his voice. "You are indeed a lucky wolf." Rage dipped his head, and turned. "Oh, and Serza? I am sorry that I left you. It seems that had I never left, perhaps you could have...well, nevermind that. I wish you both happiness."[/glow]

The fae listened to his ill-tempered words and her chest heaved with a swell of shock and anger, “Ragewarr I vanished in the midst of your absence, so how it is you came about to know my leave?” this question burned in her maw. Her beige chops pulled back into a snarl as he spoke ignoble statements, she couldn’t believe what he was saying. Truly this varg could not mean what he had said, Love her? Not if this temper got the best of him.
Just as she was about to advance toward the male the comforting dark mass that stood closely beside her boomed with awakening. His voice seemed to carry well in the darkness as he spoke in his turn to Rage. Backing off her forwarding step Serza peeled back and kept her head low and ears tuned in. At the mention of Rage speaking of her as a dismissive varg she felt small and horrid inside, so this is how the auburn male thought of her. Maneuvering away from this sudden sweep of depression she was keenly tuned into Rage’s next line of phrases.
A deep rumble pitted in her throat erupted from her maw; she was tired of hearing him talk so ill of them. “Never did he stated his knowledge of me, he merely spoke of how much you did not withhold.” She acted upon Serg’s defense. Gradually Rage calmed and opened his eyes with a new light, the fae continued to quietly listen to his speech and once it was finished she replied in her own remark, “You were always welcome in my life Rage, and I too am sorry to see your will has plummeted into such a weakened state.” Her tone sick and twisted as her words bit like a viper. How could he be so evil one minute and then transfer into something so considerate, does he think he can act as if he did not accuse her of so many things just before.

Serg's snarl quietened. rage had weaved his way out of a fight with his sudden change of heart and actions, disappointment swamped over Serg, his teeth and claws had been itching to tear at his flesh. but on the outside he remained as cool and collected as he could, apart from his eyes, the fiery amber coals glowered at Rage when he mentioned that he should take care fo Serza. 'you really think i wouldnt' he questioned, growled deeply, his voice low and disbelieving.
he could sense the anger in Serza and wished that Rage wouod be swept away by the night breeze to be gone so quickly. that was again a strange feeling, all this alien emotions he was not used to yet. he growled at Rage, a deep throaty growl that rang out from his throat like nearing thunder.
