[shadow=red,left,300] Two piercing yellow eyes could be seen glaring out from the bushes. In them glittered pain and hatred, but most of all was fear. Fear that he would try to hide constantly.
..Show no weakness..Show no weakness..
That`s what the voices in his head scream at him. They are the reason he is now alone. His adoptive mother-Lupa-had gotten in a fight with his Rabies-maddened parents, and he was left with Freya, whom he had ran from. They thought he was insane, but they were wrong...
A young black varg emerged from the bush, brown flecks etching his face, neck, and back. Blood is hot on his scent, the source is a long gash down his right front leg,the scarlet fluid dripping every so often to stain his fur.
I don`t need help,I don`t need help..He told himself.
He was forcing himself to take a few steps forward. Finally,he stopped, flanks heaving heavilly. Sighing with regret to himself,he let out a long saddned howl out to the heavens, sitting down to wait for help.[/shadow]

[shadow=blue,left,300]Sparkle was just passing through the area when she heard a sad howl. Sparkle knows that howl well for she has howled it from her very own mouth many times. She padded over to the young Varg. Sparkle put her noise in the air smelling blood not from lera but from that mysterious Varg that blended in with the shadows. She growled "Who are you?" Noticing he wasn't in the best of shape toned down her voice a little. "Hello there, umm...what's your name?" Sparkle was curious what had happened to him so she also asked, "What happened to you or who did this?" Sparkle walked closer to the Varg with the Shiny Black Coat. Then she sat down next to him to at least keep him warm. Poor pup she thought. Then once again wondered what secrets this pup had. What Varg would hurt a pup?[/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300] The young varg narrowed his eyes at her. Half was of an angry glare, half a sad attempt to show off his unearthly eyes. He looked up at her with his eerie yellow eyes, trying to intimidate her. His orbs were completely unnatural for a young Wolf as himself...
"I am Risk," He growled coldly, "And sad as it may sound,my own parents did this. But I don`t need any help."
It was easy to tell he was lying about not needing help. He paused, trying to hide the smirk sneaking across his face.
"It is rude to ask others of their name before introducing yourself."
Risk rose, taking a small step backwards so he wouldn`t be so close to her. He was used to other wolves attacking him,and wasn`t used to them being so nice on first sight.[/shadow]

Breaking into an easy lope, Tren raised his head, sniffing tentatively the frigid air. Nearby, he clearly detected two wolves, fairly young at a guess. Without breaking his ground eating stride, he switched direction, determined to seek those he heard. Halting before he came into ear shot, Tren sunk low to the ground, crawling forward on his belly to gain closer views. A male and faemme. One injured it appeared. Advantageous for someone such as himself, for the could not defend so adequately should they feel he encroach on what was not his. Not that this land probably belonged to them, for both were junvenille in appearance, but Tren had not grown in these lands, and therefore did not know their customs.
His belly damp from the compacted snow, he slowly lifted itself from its chilled damp, sidling into the clearing unobtrusively. Head tilted to one side, in manner that mimicked his infamous kin, he peered quizzically at the younger male, nodding in an amiable gesture to the faemme.

(btw Tren can you not post in that colour? That colour is already taken and it would be appriciated;) Thanks)
Worlds collide. A world of pain and happiness melding into one. Soe think the world is never fair, some get it too easy. But when can we learn to appricite it?
A lone she varg padded into the clearing. Her head in the clouds once again. Her cyan blue eyes blinking slowly unaware of the other vargs just a few paces away. She sulked. The loniless eating her heart as she kept on padding. Dial turned finally, looking skywards at the cold blue sky. The clouds a thin whisp and a storm was unseen, but then again the storms could appen at anytime and they had no mercy of the habitants beneath.
Her tan pelt of white and honey brown shimmered, the ice crystals clinging onto the ends of the hairs. Sakita sighed. She had left her pack to find a better place to live and so far, everything was just the same. The same old barren land holding out an unwelcome hand.
Sakita looked up when the scent of the other vargs wafted to her nostrils. A ghasp escaped her maw and Sakita groled lightly. Surprised that there were vargs here all along. sakita raised her hackles, incase the vargs brought hostility to the table. Slowly Sakita advanced, waiting for them to chase her out. She knew they were going to chase her.Sakita eased herself and observed the trio of vargs. There was a female and two males. They too looked young and were probably adolscents much like Sakita herself. At this obseration sakita relaxed, perhaps they might accept her. Sakita took a deep breath and padded upto them. Her eyes glowing with determination as she slinked up to them. "Hi..." she spoke slowly her eyes darting back from one varg to the other. As she still waited for the vargs' next move.

[shadow=red,left,300] Risk lowered his head and bared his blood-covered fangs at the approaching vargs.
'What do they want from me?'He thought to himself,'What did I do?'
He glared at Tren. "What are you looking at?"He growled coldly, hackles raising. The brown-flecked fur on his back rose as the female approached them, but he loosened his glare on her a bit when he noticed she was wary.
The dark coated varg allowed a kind smile to cross his features as he nodded to Sakita. His yellow eyes softened a bit;he knew how she felt...Being unwanted was a bad feeling to have. His otherwise cold eyes seemed to tell her that she was welcome here, that he was no threat to her. The varg had always had a soft spot for unwanted females anyhowl..[/shadow]

Mandarb lay in the shadows of the bushes, watching Risk. A growl rose and fell in his throat as he stared, madness shining bright in his eyes. He hated almost all vargs untouched by madness, but this one he loathed. They had met once before and he had watched Risk turn the only wolf in the world that truely cared against him. Mandarb's growl rose in pitch just at the memory of Nocturnia nuzzling the male affectionately. He had only ever done that to Mandarb, and then suddenly, this larger, stronger pup had turned up and stolen the affections of his "father". He had vowed to get back at Risk for that and he would. All he had to do was bide his time and find the right moment.

[shadow=red,left,300] Risk shuddered as the unforgiving icy wind blew, and he bowed his head down to lick the gaping wound scarring his leg. The blood smeared over his nose, clogging his sense of smell. Drip. Drip. Splash
Risk pointed his muzzle to the sky,and watched as a couple white flakes landed on his blood-smeared nose. He whimpered, and cocked his head to the side slowly. The puppy inside of Risk wanted to wag his tail and romp around, but the Voices wouldn`t let him...
'What are you thinking Risk?!' They screamed at him,and the pain in his leg grew as they spoke,'Do you want to die? Because if you do play around, you`re open for an attack from any one of these vargs..Don`t trust them Risk..Don`t trust them...' [/shadow]

A dark aura seemed to fall over the land as a comrade to a select few now made his appearance. With his muzzle and tail held high and strong steps moving his body forward, Nocturnia emerged, nodding passively towards Risk. His eyes showed no concern whatsoever as he neared his newfound friend, though he cautiously eyed the unknown varg around the pup. He lowered his head as he stood by Risk, licking the smaller varg's snout in greeting.
"Well, well. It's been a few suns, has it not? How are those voices of yours treating you? From what I can see, they aren't too benevolent.. Just tell them to shut up, dear. They shan't provoke the situation should you choose to rebel." It seemed that this one understood, and in truth he simply wanted to be a father figure to this one as well, as he was for Mandarb. A faint smile fell over his face as he recalled the runt Mandarb, and he fancied he scented the small male's scent on the wind, though the intoxicating smell of Risk's blood overwhelmed it - he had convinced himself that his 'son' had died, for he figured that since he hadn't been at his side lately, the cold could easily punish such a small, weak body. Turning to the other varg around the pup, he studied the group before finishing, "And who might you lot be?"

[shadow=red,left,300] Risk smiled and wagged his tail slowly as the dark Wolf approached. "The Voices,"He growled,"Are as tormenting as ever. But thanks for caring." He let a smirk cross his features to make up for the loss of dignity in the tail-wag.
But as Nocturnia licked his nose,he cleared some of the blood and Risk could smell something other than blood. Hatred,Anger,Rage...They were all hot in the air as the dark-coated varg sniffed the air.
His hackles raised along with the brown-flecked fur on his back as the scents became clearer to him-Mandarb.
"Come on out runt." He growled coldly, "I can smell you a mile away."
The Voices had complete control of him.
He too hated the other varg, who was about the same age as himself. But whatever advantage the runt had earned from madness, Risk made up for in size, speed, and strength.[/shadow]

Mandarb tensed as Nocturnia's scent drifted into his nose. Part of him was desperate to race out and see his "father" but there was a fear that Nocturnia would want him no more. At that thought anger rose stronger in him and his eyes glowed with it as Nocturnia stepped out and affectionately licked Risk. Risk's words brought him back to reality and an amused smile spread across his maw. He stood up slowy, not bothering to shake the mud and dirt from his thin fur as he padded out from the shadows of his hiding place. That growl still rose and fell in his throat and that blazing insane gaze remained fixed upon Risk as he approached. He didnt look once at Nocturnia, his attention was entirely upon the pup that had stolen his rightful position at Nocturnia's side. He stopped a few steps away from Risk, his lips pulled back in an angry snarl. When he spoke his words were a low growl, though slightly slurred as they always were when his madness was at its peak, "If you could smell me a mile away, you would have smelt me earlier..."

Nocturnia's ears perked high into the air as he noticed Mandarb. Immediately, the wolf bounded to the runt's side, though he could see that his pup's eyes no longer shone with the excitement that could usually be found when he spotted his 'father'. A whine sounded, and suddenly the proud wolf felt unwanted. He lashed his tongue out, licking Mandarb fully on the muzzle, following him with his ears pinned against his head - What had shot the shine in his son's eyes?
"Mandarb..? Are you alright? I thought you had died in that last blizzard.. Thank Fenris you're all right," He praised the pup, and it suddenly seemed as if he had simply thrown Risk away. Nocturnia frowned, wanting for his pup to find excitement once more - seeing the runt's blank gaze was an almost painful stab to the heart. Again he licked Mandarb's muzzle, completely ignoring Risk to make sure the smaller male knew that he felt nothing for the other. "Hey.. He just looked so alone - much like yourself. I didn't mean any jealousy to come of it, if that's what's wrong. You always will be held the most dearest to me, runt, and you should be smart enough to know that.." It seemed that the large, obsidian male could soon become emotional - the last thing he wanted was to lose the youth's love.

Mandarb could hear Nocturnia at his side, but at first he ignored him, still focusing on Risk. Hestill didnt believe that Nocturnia cared nothing forthe pup oppposite him. However as the ebony male whined beside him licking his muzzle repeatedly Mandarb slowly moved his gaze from Risk and onto his "father". His growls died slightly, could Nocturnia's words be true. Did he, Mandarb, a worthless runt, truely mean more to Nocturnia than this proud, strong stranger? Hope rekindled itself inside and he lifted his head to lick Nocturnia's lowered muzzle once. His tail lifted slightly and though he didn't smile, how could he with that odious stranger beside him - whether Nocturnia's affections had changed or not was not important to Mandarb, he still saw Risk as a potential threat and nothing would ever change that view - Mandarb did at least seem glad to see Nocturnia. He even chuckled slightly, shakinghis head as the powerful midnight varg's words came back to im. "You think I would die that easily, just from a stray snow storm." Mandarb giggled at the thought and then stepped beneath Nocturnia, standing in his customary position under the protection of the male, leaning slightly up against one of his legs. His attention returned to Risk and once more he began to growl.

[shadow=red,left,300] Risk didn`t flinch at all when Nocturnia left his side,in fact,he sighed in relief. There was some odd feeling that consumed Risk whenever the dark-coated male was near,a feeling Risk could do without. He turned on Mandarb smirking hellishly.
"Could`ve fooled me." He growled, mock sternly.
His eyes had turned white except for the pupil which was a deep blood red. The voices had gained control over the young varg`s body again.[/shadow]

Mandarb growled at Risk from where he stood, his lips peeling back angrily as the growl rose up in his throat once more. "My body may appear weak stranger, but appearances can be decieving. Unlike you, Nocturnia knows me better and should know that something as trifling as a storm would not kill me." His eyes glowed golden, burning with an intensity of madness Mandarb rarely showed now he had grown a little. There was something about Risk that brought out the very worst in him, perhaps it was the jealousy and the memory of his sense of betrayal by Nocturnia. That was a feeling that would not be quickly forgotten.
