Frequently Used Words
Here are some words that will be used often through RPing a wolf, and if you don't understand them then here they are with their meanings -
Varg - Varg is another word for wolf, it is the name wolves have come up for themselves.
Tor - Tor is the wolf Goddess, she is represented by the moon, or, is the moon.
Fenris - Fenris is the wolf God represented, or is, the sun.
The Sight - The Sight is an ancient power some wolves have, Larka had it, and the first power of the Sight is to see through the eyes of birds, the second power of the Sight is to see into the past, present or even future through water and the third power is to be able to control thoughts and even physical actions of others, it is very rare that wolves with the sight reach this power.
Herla - Herla is what the deer call themselves, although that doesnt mean you have to call them herla.
Lera - Lera is a word for all the animals and all the creatures, for exmaple, a squirrel would be called a Lera as would a badger.
Wolfbane - Wolfbane is the evil God, and there are many tales told about him, the castle above the stone den (where the pack in the book lived) was rumoured to be where he lived. There is a story that says he made a pact with the ravens, so Wolfbane is in debt with the ravens.
Kerl - a Kerl is a lone wolf that doesn't belong to a pack.
Dragga - a Dragga is the male leader/Alpha of a pack.
Drappa - a Drappa is the Dragga's mate, the female leader/Alpha of the pack.
Sikla - a Sikla is the weakling in a pack, they have only just become an adult and they arent the best fighters. They are the weakest in a pack and usually scorned and made fun of. No one usually likes or trusts a Sikla.
Balkar - the Balkar are a pack of totally male wolves and they are feared. The wolves in this pack are strong fighters.
Putnar - this is the word used for predators, animals that hunt, not scavenge. Wolves are putnar, bears are putnar, eagles would be called flying putnar.
Barren - Morgra described herself as a barren varg for she was a lone kerl, has no mates and can bear no pups and is despised by everyone and she will always be alone.
Faemme/Fae- means female
Mann - Male
Tratto's Blessing - this is the blessing that vargs howl at each other's territories to ask the Dragga and Drappa's permission to enter their lands
Tsinga - she was a fortune teller in the book and lived in the Vale of Shadows.
Time Period
Another issue that sometimes crops up is what time period we base our posts in. Myself, I'm no expert on history so i cant tell you the exact century in which the book was set and all that was going on then, but what i can tell you is that man had not invented guns or radio collars then. If you wish to include humans in your RP then make sure they dont have any more sophisticated weapons other than vlubs, pitchforks, maybe a knife, bow and arrow. (unless they're the rich folk, then maybe you can go onto swords. it depends how realistic you want your RP to be.)

*[Name] padded through the forest, his head held low and his shoulders shifting as he stalked through the shadows, legs cycling below his bulky body. Just then he stopped and scented the air - [Name2] was close by and he snarled. He leapt to the left and through the bushes, crashing into [Name2] and he snapped his jaws, ripping out flesh as he slashes at the other's face..*
Now here is an example of what you SHOULD do instead -

He leapt to the left and through the bushes, and seeing [Name2] he lunged for the other wolf, his jaws wide open as he moved closer to his target, the urge to drink this varg's blood strong in his mind..*
