//maybe this will get something rolling!!//
Snowfeather yawned grogilly as his eyes gingerly fluttered open to greet Fenris' light. The rock around him, he noticed, was warm from Fenris' rays, not cool as they normally were when the rays of the sun had just risen into the sky. Snowfeather jumped up and thought I overslept! Snow rushed out of the den hoping to find his packmates there, but to his surprise he could not see a varg for miles. Where could they have gotten to? he thought, stretching his aging muscles. I guess this means nobody needs help. Snowfeather took one last oppurtunity to give a quick yawn and started his day.
Snow launched himself into the woods, crashing through bushes and sharp thickets. His feet pounded the ground heavilly, leaving a trail of dust in the crisp forest air. His eyes, not focused entirely on the path in front of him, searched for his packmates. He hoped to find someone to chat with, or maybe someone in need of healing. After all, that is what he did best! After for running for what seemed like hours, Snowfeather stopped at a river to lap up some drops of fresh water. Snow looked around and found the bushes and trees around him were, after all these years, unaged. He sat down beside the river and reflected on how, many years ago, he and Phantom would come here to play many a time. His mind wandered and he drifted off, day dreaming. He was seeing, tasting, hearing the memories from long ago. My, how the time goes by. he thought, and continued his search through the forest of Koran.

//OH MAH TORIE TOR! A THREAD!//
Time may fly away... but memories are there forever.
Phantom walked quietly through the forest, her dark brown pelt dappled by the rays that Feris cast down through the canopy of thick trees. She paused and bathed in the warmth for a moment. It was summer, and the days grew unbearably hot at times, but in the late morning light, the sun was not as strong and felt quite pleasent on the Drappa's back. She sucked in a long breath, sighed, then continued walking.
So far, today was a rather lazy one for Koran. Many of the pack were enjoying themselves, huntig at their own pleasure, playing in the summer sun, and visiting friends in other places. Prey flourished, and the pack was very rarely without a full belly. The Koran terriotries were peaceful and underdisturbed. Phantom decided to take some time for herself and walk the paths of her cubhood once more. To relive some memories.
Her paws took her to to the the edge of the trees, near the river. It was a well-known spot to the Drappa. She and her friends, Snowy, Kadin, Bryr, and Roseki all used to play here when they were pups. She smiled as she remembered the tumbles and games of tag they got into, and the many adventures they shared by the calm waters. Many of those faces had long since vanished, and only two remained in her current life. In these times, she, Kadin, and Snowy were all too busy to have a bit of fun together.
Phantom caught Snowy's scent. She saw him lapping at the water's edge, peaceful, unsuspecting. She grinned and, with tradmark silence, she crept up behind him and crouched, ready to spring. Why shouldn't a Drappa of a pack have some fun for a change?
She sprang and leapt through the air, yelling playfully. Upon her landing she gave him a push, hoping to sent both of them splashing in the creek.

Snow sat dreamily watching the water for what seemed like forever. As he dreamt of the years gone by he heard a strong feminie growl. It pierced the afternoon air like a falcon diving after it's prey. He braced himself for attack and with a snarl, Snow whirled his powdery muzzle around in a fit of distemper and took a glance into the eyes of his best friend, Phantom. Before he realized what was happening, he was thrust into the water of the river that moments before, was peaceful and undisturbed. Phantom landed on top of him and he bit her hear playfully, hoping to extract from her a playful yip. He kicked her off and she landed on the shore, showering the dry ground with the water from her pelt. He crouched above her in a way that put him in a position to be tackled, but that didn't matter. It was only for fun anyways. "Ah, we meet again, oh illustrious drappa." he sneered with mock anger as he stared into her eyes awaiting her counter-attack.

Phantom laughed as she suddenly found herself on the shore, with a soaking wet Snowy standing over her. Grinning wickedly, she composed her own good-naturedly taunting lyrics.
"Yes, we do," she said, "oh wise and loyal Healer!"
With that she lunged upwards, her clever paws feigning a head on rush, but suddenly changing course once again. Her paws hit him on his side, pushing him back into gentle current. Phantom, now standing over him, nipped at his ears and muzzle playfully. She gave friendly growls that, to the human ear, almost sounded like giggling.
"Seems like you've lost your touch over the years, Snowy." She flashed her fangs in a playful snarl, yellow eyes shining brightly. "I recall a time when you used to beat me at these games with no problem."
Her tail wagged fiercely, fanning the hot summer air in delight. She had missed days like this. After all, why shouldn't any Varg, even a Drappa, have a little fun with an old friend?
