DDR is a great way to get a cardio work out. Anyone agree, disagree. Feel free to discuss.
I personally love the game. Keeps me in shape ^^

But it's still a blast! I honestly have alot more fun getting my cardio from DDR then I would from just running, biking, swiming, ect....
I know someone who lost 100 pounds playing DDR and eating Subway sandwhiches every day. So it truly does work.

Tried it a couple of times with my brother and a few friends of ours. Personally I have a better time watching other people do it then I do actually dancing, in either case I prefer Tai Bo. Still I do like the music.

You take Martial Arts Draeg? That's really cool. = )
DDR is not as hard as it looks. If you really take the time to learn it, you can probably start playing the really hard songs in about 3-4 months. That's how long it took me.

Of course, you'd have to train your mind to actually remember, left, right, forward, and back, then to send that message to you feet really quickly. Though I too love the game. Particularly on beginner mode. :3

Hey Nageam -waves- haven't seen you in a while.
-Krystal- Not really, I actually haven't done Tai Bo in a little over 2 years really. Got lazy after school started and then never got around to starting up again once it was done.
I suppose I could but I really don't like using that cheap plastic mat my brother bought for the game, everytime I try to play the stupid thing keeps sliding out from under me.

Just keep practising Nageam, and I'm sure you'll get better. With anything in this life, to get good at something, it takes practise.
Never play the PS2 DDR games. The pads are way cheap and in accurate. It's best too just play on the arcade machines. ^^

> > That's not necesarily true. There are some really good PS2 mats out there. I bum them off my friends. But yeah, I know I'll get better, its just a matter of me actually being able to access the game.
--and yes, Draeg, it has been a while.

*nod nods* I havn't personally had a good experience with a PS2 pad. I can't play any of the really hard songs like the Max songs for instance on them, cause I wind up slipping on them.

Don't wear socks on the pad.... That makes them slippery.. but at the same time... do... cause otherwise its kind of gross.
But, on the topic of ultimate work out, its has its pluses. If you want to improve your muscles you should go elsewhere though.

Very true. But that's why it's called a cardio work out right? Only for your heart, not your muscles.
