Just wonder which you thought was better. Eragon or Warrors.
If other please specify.

Warriors is wonderful, but it's written by two authors, and still there are plenty of mistakes (the repetition of 'his blood turned to ice' and other sayings...drives me nuts...found the same saying 3 times in 2 pages...) whereas Eragon was written by one author WHO WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL AT THE TIME yet I could only find one mistake in the whole book (it was something like 'there were a thousand a thousand warriors there'). Also, Paolini has a much wider berth of vocabulary and can really narrate a story...the sense of the plot being more complicated and unpredictable and hightening of suspense is good too...

he Warriors series is okay, but I like Eragon much better. Could be just the fact it has mythical creatures in it like dragons, I've always found them to be interesting beasties.

Ah, but there was a lot of repetition in Eragon too!
Wimpy character, he always fainted in every other chapter! It's dramatic the first, but after that...yeah. -.-
And dont forget, the Warriors series is somewhat more appealing to a younger audience, or it is expected to be. But it's about kitties, so what's not to like? I prefer the originals rather than the new ones, and it is a bit more creative than Eragon, at least in my mindset.
But my vote goes to neither. Instead, it goes to the Princess Bride! ^.^

Warriors is written by two authors yes, but they do not work on the same book together.
They each take turns writing each book and then it is looked over by their boss person. I like Warriors myself better then Eragon. Why? cause I just can't get myself to read Eragon. I love dragons but everytime i see the book and read the back and open it... i just dont feel like reading it hoom. I'm on to uhmm the new prophecy for warriors and apparently they're makign a movie for the first series too.

Heheh, thanks Farrah! Mort Rainey's teh best insane guy ever. *pounces him*
Yeah, I've heard of the movie. I can't wait, but I wonder how they're gonna make it. Like, are they going to squish all the first six books together?
I hope they don't mess up the plot too much.

Because I'm crazy, Ill jump in too :P
As far as I've heard (remember this is rumor and stuff, although the source itself was particularly reliable).
[Begin Quote]
A movie about the Warriors book series has been green lighted by Universal Pictures and set to be released the summer of 2007. It will be a live action movie with computer animation. This means the cast will use real cats and train them to do things, and then, on the computer, put a mask on the cat to make it talk. This is what they did for Snowbell the cat in Stuart Little (film) and in Dr. Dolittle (film), Dr. Dolittle 2, and Dr. Dolittle 3. A large number of big time stars have been signed to star in the movie such as Michael Clarke Duncan as the powerful Tigerstar. The movie will consist of Into the Wild, Fire and Ice, and Forest of Secrets. The movie will be called Warriors Of The Forest.

Of course, that's just what I heard. Now, as far as my vote goes I say that I like neither over the other, simply because it depends on the mood (and the alignment of the stars and the planets, and... joking) that I'm in when I read them, and which one I've read most recently. So I have no preference really.
Eragon pros: Very descriptive, nice world politics, races, realism (to an extent), nice plot, smooth beginning - change of scenes - and ending.
Eragon cons: Weak (as far as I know since I only read the first book) main character (the fainting really got old), certain events happen that puts Eragon in another heroic position (c'mon, the main character has to have a little competition). I haven't read it in a real long while... so that's about all I could think of :P
Warriors pros: Great characters, minimal description (I'm not into page long descriptions of a leaf, just an example XD), wonderful plot, interesting religion.
Warriors cons: Repetition, secondary characters really never changed, you can sometimes tell the switch (writing style), don't quite like the second series. Same about having read them in a while... I've been in the mood for murder mysteries lately (anyone read Every Dead Thing?)

3 DAYS! NO WAY! I'VE WAITED FOR FOREVER! *calms* *smooths out fur* I mean...I hate the New Prophecy series... *looks around* I'll agree with you guys, though, that it's definitely not as good, I mean...THEY SWITCHED THE MAIN CHARACTER FOR TOR'S SAKE! It's like in the Guardians of Ga'Hoole (a VERY repetative series, but a good basic idea thus enjoyable) when they switch from Soren suddenly to Nyra's son...I forget what his name was...after that, the series went down the hill mountain cliff abyss ...there is no discriptive for how bad it got. That is all.
However, the Warriors:New Prophecy series still carries on that interesting plot...it's not like most movie sequels where they completely die when it comes to the good stuff...they're still pretty good all in all...
Anywho, I never really noticed the fainting of Eragon. Perhaps I was just so tired...I stayed up all night reading the book...finished it in a day and a half... *yawns*

Ummm...yeah...wait just a second... *clears throat* *yells* HOW COULD YOU NEVER HAVE READ ERAGON OR WARRIORS!!!!!! YOU EVIL, DISGUSTING LUNATIC!!!!!! *roasts the crazy Zhentee like a marshmallow* Just kidding, Zhentee. Lots of people have never heard of either one, but you'll probably go see Eragon the movie when it comes out, and then you'll want to read it. It's very good. I don't know if the Warriors movie is going to be so highly publicized, though...
