Villain isn't spelled that way (A) and (B), what in the name of Tor are you talking about? I like your new banner by the way.

What is that? Gomez, my salsa-gorging penguin...agrees?? You cannot be serious! After all the salsa I've fed you? I've reared you, Gomez? And you turn your back on me now? Siding with them, are you? How dare you! I will get a new pet! *tosses the penguin roughly out of the door* Why are you still talking to me?? Fine. Take the sombrero with you! Here! *throws a large, heavily ornamented, too-large-for-a-penguin sombrero out into the street* Now go! (13 1/2 seconds later) Gomez! I can't live without you Gomez! Here, come inside! 31 degrees is way too cold for a growing penguin! I'm sorry, Gomez. I'll never do anything stupid like that again.
*announcer with a deep voice* "Will Farrah keep her promise? Will Gomez ever be booted out again? Why does Gomez like salsa so much? Tune in to 'Penguin Blues' next week to find out!"

I think unusual names are okay, as long as they aren't TOO unusual - parents need to keep in mind that their child will be growing up! For example, a name like Special may be fine when the child is at school, but what if they become a doctor or a lawyer? "Dr. Special Jones." Not very professional!
I'm a big supporter of names that are slightly unusual though. If I had a son he'd be called Joachim (pronounced Yo-ah-kim), Sebastian (Bastian for short) or Alexander (Xander for short). If I had a daughter I'd call her April or Cordelia.

I totally agree about the whole "Special" thing. What happens if they grow up to be a Special Ed teacher? That could get messy. About the salsa, he's a mexican penguin and he loves salsa. And he wears a sombrero. Yep. That's Gomez. He's been running away lately. He keeps yelling something about the South Pole to me. Hmm...I wonder why anyone would want to get there....well, if you see him heading south of the border, please return him. Thanks!

Wow, talk about random, Farrah.
But yeah, sometimes unusual names are the best. Especally when there is 3 Amanda's in your clas, or 2 Rayan's. Things can get confusing.

Unique names are great but in moderation. No need to name your kid "Orange" for example. If I have a son I'm going to name him after my uncle: Methodius. I also like the name Travis for a boy. I love boys names for girls too, so if I have a girl I like: Joey and Bobbi. Some odd names I've encountered are:
- Jilyn (Jill - een) - Jafar (like the Aladdin villian) - Beena (Bean - uh) - Moe (as in one of the three stooges?)

You know what's funny? My old PE teacher's last name was Butt. We called him, Semore Harry Butt.

Hahah. I wish one of my PE teachers had that name! Although the one had the last name Scarola which sounded like a disease. We made fun of him for that especially because he was a pain in the arse!
