THIS IS THE CONTINUATION OF SKY MOUNTAIN. IT IS REQUIRED FOR ANYONE WHO WISHES TO JOIN THIS RP CONTINUATION TO READ THE ORIGINAL RP THREAD: SKY MOUNTAIN. PM ME / TARLAR IF THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS.
A black Varg slowly pushed his way up another step of rock, sweat and blood dripping from his muzzle, leaving a trail of sin stained onto the path to the place he knew as Sky Mountain. This place is justly named. Fellack thought as he halted in front of the elevated slab of stone that loomed towering over him. He needed to rest. After his departure from Tarlar, guilt heavily weighed down on him with every step; and every bone in his aching body took the blow. Fellack mustered a howl that echoed off the cold stone around him- this, he thought now, is not adventure. This is suicide. Fellack slowly eased his tired and broken body onto the stone beneath him. Now was the time to rest. His journey to Sky Mountain had only begun.

Only suns after departue when Talar headed onto the North to the greater packs, as Fellack headed West to Sky mountain. She was still on the run, only really stopping to drink, hunt and occationaly sleep she thought the whole time about Fell. I wonder if he is okay? Did he reach the mountain yet? Then suddenly one day as Fernis was mid in the sky Tarlar came to a stop. What am I doing? I can't just sit here and wonder, I should be there by his side. God I'm pathetic! Tarlar felt almost dumb, she slapped her paw on a rock and without any hesitation she rook off into the far west of Romania to chase back to her friend.
Days of travel, she never stopped, and she felt as if she collapsed. Day and night she would see Fernis and Tor watching over her. Dread still fallowed her and she knew that the gods were watching her in their unwanted presence. She took the darkest routs, ones filled with trees so wouldn't have to face the guilt in the sky. I was always going to be there, the sky, as much as the sin on her back.
Finally about a week had passed since she had seen Fell, and she finally made it to the base of the great Carpathian mountains, just over her stood the lengandary mountain..."Sky Mountain."...Talar breathed heavy, her legs almost about to collasp after never stopping to even rest. She was hungry, but she took mind over matter in the determination to find her Varg friend Fellack. Suddenly she heard a tired howl raising about from the center of the giant rock above her. She looked up to see the tiny black dot. Her eyes opened clearly, she had never been so happy to see anyone in her life. It was Fellack!
Tarlar pushed all of the hunger, tiredness, thirst, and pain away. She quickly bounded up the mountain running to Fellack as fast as her legs could take her. The way was up long and steep. It would take her a while to get up. Its really him! Tarlar let out a gleeful howl to let him know she was here! She was actually here! She howled another time to tell him to wait, and just for pure joy. aaahhhhuuwwwwwww!

{CHECK OUT MY AVATAR. I THINK IT LOOKS LIKE MY WOLF RUNNING UP THE MOUNTAIN} ;D The young she-varg continued to drag her tired beaten paws after her friend.She sighed wondering if a friend was worth this then she stopped in her tracks, "YES! It is worth it! What am i thinking?" She shook her head ashamed she had even thought off that. The rocks and cold winds seemed to want her to suffer. She continued on, The only thing that kept her alive was knowing Tarlar and Fellack were near. She remembered how much they meant to her and took off into a run, making herself go. Finally she stopped at the foot of the mountain. "I am going to die." she thought. She stood death in the face as she look at the mountain. She looked at the rocky mountain and saw what looked like to rocks ontop on another larger rock from her blurred vision, for she was tired, she looked again seeing one was black and one was white. She flattened her ears against her skull at first, then saw what it really was. . . . . Fellack and Tarlar. She did not care if her paws fell off from the run up the mountain she took off up the mountain quickly. They were on a large flat rock, she panted and ran up to Tarlar and said, "Finally my friend, no. . . . . . . my sister." She nodded her head and layed her large head on her neck and whined happily. The air whooshed by her making the hair on the back of her neck stand up and fly around wildly. She looked at poor Fellack and nugded his broken body, "Fellack my brother what has happened?" She whimpered and licked his wounds to see part of a broken arrow in his leg. She saw it was not to deep in and gently took it out dropping it on the rock. She bowed her head and ran off she smelled a chunk of meat from a cow elk. She picked it up in her mouth and came back laying next to Fellack. "Here brother, please eat." she said laying it closer. OOC- Fellack is in arizona so a responce from him might not be fore a while
Tarlar was greatful to see her friend Fellack and her tail wagged with glee. Then she heard footsteps comming quickly to her, then down the mountain came the black dot. Tarlars eye got even more happy as she noticed it was her great friend shadow! "Shadow! Sister, I'm so glad to see you are doing okay! You're here too!" Tarlar felt overly joyed inside and nuzzled Shadows flank walking quickly over to where she had just climbed the mountain.
There stood the three wolves under the scorching hot sun known as Fernis. All of them, tired, weak, and bloodied. On that ledge the sat there, resting mostly, talking and reuniting their thoughts. "We are heading up to sky mountain Shadow, its still a long journies up, we hope to even make it up there, because Fellack, he is injured very much, we can find healing up in the mountain from the springs." Talar looked to the sky, birds flying swifly over head or so we think. "We will rest tonight and head up this morning, bright and early."
The sun quickly went down, the air got cold on the mountain, almost as if it could snow. This-...this horror of a mountain could be the tallest you could see for many miles on end, for named "Sky Mountain". It was brutal, and dark also. The jagged peaks and ravines made long shadows. Any Varg wouldn't dare to go near, for it felt as if Wolfbane was in their presence. Or at least something as to the darkness in the world was comming near to them. Tarlar looked warrily in the night, never shutting her eyes as Fernis went down and Tor sighlently came up in the other direction. Tarlar feared what would come back to maybe haunt her. Coldly she felt the pain come back in her legs from running, and the junger tighten in her stomach. She manage to fall asleep looking over to Shadow and Fell sleeping peacfully themselves.

Shadow happily reunited with tarlar, then when the moon had started to rise she fell onto the rock next to Fellack exuasted. The warm night felt good and soon she fell asleep. She dreamed of them on Sky mountain playing happily. She woke sadly for the dream was gone. She looked around and saw it was still early, but she could ot continue to sleep. She got up and streched her legs, she did not feel any pain in them, so she ran off to hunt for Tarlar and Fellack.
She came across a weak lera, and quickly snapped its neck in her jaws. She ate her share and took it up to the mountain. She layed it down and looked around, it was hot and sunny but not scortching hot, she hot winds continued to blow but gently this time.The grass around the rocks and foot of the mountain was green and crisp but the grass higher up the mountain was dead and white from the heat and sun. "So that is our future" she said quietly. The sky had no clouds but some coculd be seen from the top of the large mountain. She layed her head on her paws and watched them sleep peacefully. The wind continued to whip her long hair around, it annoyed her but she continued to lay there wishing for rain.

Fellack awoke to the sound of two Varg. Not knowing who they were (they could be hostile), Fellack kept his eyelids shut and reached out with his senses to "see" where they were. Fellack breathed heavily and readied his muscles as he prepared to spring. 3....2....1.... Fellack whirled into the air and barred his teeth at the two Varg in front of him. They stood back, startled, confused, and obviously not hostile. Fellack too became confused. It took a second or two to register who was standing in front of him.... "Talar? Shadow?" Fellack was incredulous. Why Talar returned he didn't know, but why his close friend Shadow also stood in front of him only confused Fellack more. He immediately lowered his head to show his gratitude and respect (and apologies for startling them), and noticed the torn parts of a Lera placed in front of him. He graciously ate. "Thank you very much for returning, Talar. And..." Fellack turned his head now and directed his attention to Shadow. "How did you find me? It is wonderful to see you again. Though not at the best of times..." Fellack looked down at his leg. One of them had removed the splintered wood. He growled happily.

Talar looked at the mann with gratitude and sighed of relief. "I'm glad I came back, it was a mistake to leave.... I know that now Fellack." She smiled and nudged his flank lightly. THe dawn was breaking in the sky, why did i come back, no, why did I even leave? Talar was muchly confused, but just went with the way of fit.
She looked at Fellack, he didn't seem well, worse than Talar herself had felt. Running that long way made her groggy, almost feeling as if she were dead. Talar shook her fur, "I also forgot to tell you Fellack, I'm going with you to sky mountain." She said gupling at the peak above her, then looking to the cliffs below her, it would be a long brutle trip, wouldn't it? Fernis justly rose, Talar closed her eyes soaking in the suns rays. Smiled there in the sunlight. A yawn excaped and she fell onto the floor of the rock and layed. Her mussles ached from the run, she still panted.
The long day pushed on, Talar looked up. They needed to rest, maybe a bit more.... Or should they start to go up? Talar just waited for someone else to decide that now, and take charge themselves. Her eyes glittered looking at the Fae and the Mann. They were all still young cubs, looking for their meaning in life, chasing a mountains dream. Talar seemed older now, almost as big as an adult, and it made her feel the more confindent.

The sun startedto rise promising to be another scorching day. The wind blew making to heat worse but also cooled you. They canceled each other out. Fo some reason excitment stirred in the faes stomach giving her axcious body some energy to awake. The rocks were warm but not yet cooking the life around. Her nose wrinkled fom a strong smell-it was a good smell though- she sniffed the air. It was the meat she had brought. It had started to cook from te heat.
The young varg and started to awake. She heard a sound but ignored it from being so groggy from sleep. She yawned, stretched and craned her head over to her friends. Their eyes sealed shut, for now. They fur whipped across their bodies. Talar lay there, her head ontop of her beaten paws lightly. Fellack laying flat on his side in an unconcious sleep. His body twitched and his head shot up. He jumped up and growled threateningly. Talar and herself got up. She saw he was just confused and her ears where straight and her head high. Her left paw lifted in confusion
His eyes went friendly and no longer menacing. His tensed body now relaxed. He growled in apology. She nodded her head and one of her sweet gentle smiles spread across her muzzle. Fellack looked down and noticed the meat and graciously lowered his head and ate. He looked back up at them in confusion, "You shall gain the answers you seek after you eat." She smiled once again. She lowered her head to the meat so he would eat.
She held up her head and saw a crow cawing in the baking sky. She snorted, "Disgusting creature, not fit to have the gift of flight". She put her head back down. The other varg were in horrid condition. She herself was in a bad condition but already healing and well enough to continue up the mountain. She healed quickly compared to other wolves. She whined to get their attention. "Since we are going to journy up this cruel mountain, how shall we find shelter when needed. I am in the best condition, I shall go up the mountain and make future shelter." She licked them both and easily started up the mountain. Her strong legs shot her quickly up the mountain. She paused and turned back to them. She howled loudly causing the large mountain to shake from the volume. She howled for a long time in a good-bye. "Until then my friends" she dipped her head and started up again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was beginning to darker as she made her way towards their next stop. Her legs started to ache from the long run. She cool summer air of the night felt good to her. She faint sound of cicadas and crikets filled the warm air calming her. She had very god stamina and beathed in slowly in and out. She came across a small cave made from rocks that had been stoned there for years. It looked safe enough so she trotted inside and made a bed from the dry grasses outside. She swpt them into a pile with her nose and picked them up in her mouthand tossed them into the small cave. It could only hold two,b ut she would sleep outside. They needed shelter more then her. She made a small bed for herself. She finished and gladly fell down onto the ground.-Here are some my latest quotes I came up with, please tell me if you think its good.- The Game.
Fellack awoke with a start to notice the absence of Shadow immediately. Fellack growled softly to Talar. "Talar, please wake up now. Shadow has gone off or gone missing- I want you to come and help me find her." Fellack howled at Tor as he readied himself for what might be another day of travel. Sky Mountain has showed him the first ounce of light- friends are always there for you, even if you think they are not. Fellack smiled to himself- maybe Sky Mountain is here to teach. Fenris and the gods do not give or grant wishes- they provide opportunities to achieve your goals and dreams. Maybe Sky Mountain was an opportunity.
Body my house my horse my hound What will I do when you are fallen
Where will I sleep How will I ride What will I hunt
Where can I go without my mount all eager and quick How will I know in thicket ahead is danger or treasure When body my good bright dog is dead
How will it be to lie in the sky without roof or door and wind for an eye
with cloud for a shift how will I hide? The young varg awoke from her peaceful sleep and yawned. She stretched out her legs. Shadow stood and paced around wondering of things she could do to make herself useful while she waited for them. The warm wind blew tufts of her fur around her face. She sneezed shaking her head. She continued to trot around in the same spot for awhile. The straw swished across the hard ground from where she had kicked it away in her sleep. She decided she could wait no longer so she strechted again and started running down the mountain to meet with them. Since she was going down the mountain and not up she would be there soon. Her legs carried her down the mountain easily.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"TALAR!, FELLACK!" She shouted. "I cound't stay away from you so long it worried me'. She greeted them and told them of the shelter that was set up higher on the mountain. She smiled and sat down with them until they where ready to travel to it. "It will take most of the day." She explained. She got up and sarting pacing excitedly. "When do you want to start?" She pondered around on the flat rock face waiting for a desicion to be made. The wind blew quite hard at the lower part of the mountain making a small dust whirlwind. It looked like a small tornadoe. It wasn't dagerous though. She sat down, but she was stil ancious. Her eyes glued to it, for mthere was not anything for her to watch or do at the moment .

Fellack took a minute to muse the situation. "We DEFINITELY need to be there by Tor's arrival in the sky, for the little shelter Talar and I had last night proved futile. We were open to many enemy attacks." Fellack growled and shook his head. "Don't forget- Sky Mountain is a popular fable and many would die to reach it's peak. There may be many dangerous hostiles seeking the same treasure that would kill competitors- or would gladly come to kill everything on it." Fellack got up and yawned as he stretched out his aching legs. "We shall travel there and rest when we arrive."

Ooc- Wow, lol. Hey Fellack, just a notice. I changed my history since my charicter is more advanced, so its kinda differnt. Click my bio if you need help.
Talar woke up with a studder, and next to her stood Fellack and Shadow, talking and greeting eachother from being separated. Confusion struck her mind, it felt as if she were already waken. Her legs shook and she felt rejuvinated from the nights rest. Talar's hackles brissled as Fellack spoke of the danger that would lie ahead of them, and how they could not waste time. They had to get there before Tor reached her highest in the sky as full as the eye she was told it was in all of the pup fables her parents had told her.
She looked carfully at the two Varg, she met their gaze for a long time, then she looked up to the mountain hidden in the clouds. Little time we have... why shall we waste time, the moon is rising as we speak Talar thought, and with that she sprang upon a rock that rose above them and wagged her tail, "Then what are we waiting for!?" She growled happily, "Lets go Mr. and Mrs. Chatty box!" Talar laughed jokingly and wagged her tail signaling them to fallow as they reached up the slippery-wet peaks of the mountain.
The air became windy in the night, and darkend cliff held their fate, just waiting for any of the varg to loose their grip and fall into the fatal abass. "Take your time in these parts" Talar reassured her friend hoping they would be carful. The rock was cold and the wind blew into Talar's flank sending an icy claw shivering up her spine. Suddenly a differnt sent came into the air, but it was faint and stale.

Fellack noticed the smell right away. Immediately he lifted his head to the air, breathing in the strong aura of another Varg. By Fenris, why tonight?" Fellack swore out loud. They were so close to having shelter for the night, yet something always seemed to go wrong when safety was so near.... And then it happened- so quickly one might not notice what might have killed him. A dart of gold flashed and cut through the still air and knocked Fellack flat on his back, sliding against the wet rock. Fellack quickly pawed at the ground to remain still, but the futility was obvious. Within seconds Fellack twisted to see the edge of the rock, hovered inanimate for a moment above the air, and plummeted to the shards of rock below. And before Talar and Shadow stood a golden wolf, as vibrant as Fenris himself. And then it was gone. The air grew once again still.

[Sorry I was so late, i've been babysitting crazy cusins all day and i will be doing it again tomaorrow and the next day (prays to god so will survive) pray for me!)
The young fae stood there conversing with Fellack. "Come on!!" Talar shouted behide her. She jumped for talar had been laying there peacefully. "Come on mr. and Mrs. Chatty box!" She shouted to them. Talar took up the mountain. She looked back to Fellack her face twisted up in confusion. "I think the heat is getting to her." She murmured quietly to Fellack. She sighed and shot up the mounatin after her. Her legs no longer burned from the run, but stretched making herself go faster and faster. She easily shot up past Talar. Excitement got the better of her as she ran out of there sight like it was a race. Her eyes looked crazed with excitment and her tounge lolled out of her mouth. She suddenly vame to her sences and stopped, and turned waiting for her to make her way up to where she was. She slowed her gasping breaths making herself calm. She turned back as they caught up and saw the shelter she had made was right behind her. She smiled and ran over to xpresent it to them. She stood there proudly. She smiled and watched their expression proudly.

The three varg, on their way up the mountain. Havent you noticed though, how it seems the gods, even nature and the Lera are trying to break us apart. Like they would do anything to separate these wolves and never have them see eachother again. That's how it felt, and Talar felt it ever time that the three varg were together. Yet they where her friends, and the best of friends she had ever had. Maybe even more as she gased into their eyes. Then that imagination vanished from her mind as the strange sent drew near and Fellack rose on the ledge below her to speak. Then It all happend so fast. Talar couldn't keep track of what was happening.
First she saw a bright light, light the sun itself, Fernis had fallen to earth. Talars eyes stood huge with marvel. "Fernis?" She said nearly blinded by light. Something else caught her attention too, a fast moving metal rushed through the air and strait to Fellack. "FELLACK!!" Talar cried seeing her best friend falling off of the ravine behind him. Swiftly Talar bounded from her place and tried to grap Fellack's scruff so she could ease his fall, but she was too late. Her jaws snapped thin air slicing nothing. She starred down the ravine into complete darkness, "Fellack..." She said under her breath that broke into a whine. She closed out everything then, shadow, the brightness, and the mountain itself.
A pang of anger snapped in her, she was furosius. Why had this always happend to them, and right once they meet again. Fellack hadn't fallen to far in her time of thinking and without thinking she lept after him and fell too. She didn't care, and the golden light was gone. Talar could give anything to save that varg, but she wasn't enough. The rock below reached her as she sunk into the darkness. What she fell on wasnt the bottom of it though, she jumped to far and landed on a peak/ledge thing. She didn't know or care. Where are Fellack and Shadow? Was all she was thinking.
